L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil: Review, Photos & Swatch

Hey lovelies :)
Today's review is going to be all about a product that I have been loving a lot lately. This is the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil which is my absolute favorite product to use in the shower. Keep reading if you want to know what I think about this product :)

♥ L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil.

The Almond Shower Oil is a shower oil that transforms into a lavish, softening foam that gently cleanses your skin leaving it with a satiny softness. I absolutely love how soft, moisturized and pampered my skin feels after using this product and it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all which is a huge plus.

The Almond Shower Oil is also a wonderful product to use for shaving your legs. The razor glides so smoothly over my skin, leaving it indescribably soft afterwards. I didn't experience any irritation at all which is really good. The Almond Shower Oil is suitable for both men and women.

♥ L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil.

The smell is one off the things that I love and adore about this product. It has a divine flowery almond scent that is soft, subtle and feminine and it lasts on my skin for hours after I have stepped out off the shower. It’s no wonder that this product is one of L’Occitane’s bestsellers.

If you have dry skin like me, this will help keep it soft, moisturized and hydrated. The packaging allows you to control the amount of product you want to use, that way you wont waste any off your precious product.

♥ L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil.

The Almond Shower Oil comes in three different sizes. 2.5 fl.oz ($8), 8.4 fl.oz ($24), and 16.9 fl.oz ($48). I have the 2.5 fl.oz which is their travel sized one. If you want to try out this product but you don't want to spend too much money on it before you know if you like it or not, I highly recommend that you pick up the travel size. You get 35ml off product which is quite a lot off product. I have used mine several times and I still have a lot off product left in my bottle. The great thing about this shower oil is that you don't need to use very much as it foams and lathers beautifully. This is a product that is going to last you a long time and its definitely worth the money :)

I'm so in love with this product and I hope L'Occitane never stops making it. I would love it would if they made a body spray or perfume with the exact same smell as this shower oil, I would totally buy that :)

Rating:6/6

Makeup Academy Love Hearts Collection: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
Makeup Academy and Love Hearts have collaborated on one off the sweetest collections that I have seen in a long time. This collection consists of five moisturizing tinted lip balms and six nail polishes, ranging from pastels to brights. They are all in adorable limited edition Love Hearts packaging which I think is beyond adorable! I have four products from this collection to share with you, two lip balms and two nail polishes. To see swatches and pictures off the products, just keep reading :)

♥ MUA Love Heart Nail Polishes in I Want U & U R FAB.

♥ MUA Love Heart Nail Polish in I Want U.

I Want U is a bright orange nail polish. Its very streaky, not my favorite one out off these two shades. I used three coat to get it to look opaque but as you can see, it still looks a little streaky. The formula off this nail polish made it really difficult to work with but I do enjoy the color a lot. It is a gorgeous color for Spring and Summer.

♥ MUA Love Heart Nail Polish in U R FAB.

U R FAB is a beautiful raspberry nail polish which is almost opaque after just one coat. I added two coats but you can definitely get away with wearing just one coat if you prefer that. The formula off U R FAB is much better than I Want U. Its not streaky and it went on so smoothly on my nails. I love this color, I don't have anything like this color in my nail polish collection :)

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balms in Kiss Me & Hot Lips.

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balms in Kiss Me & Hot Lips.

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balm in Kiss Me.

Kiss Me is a bright red lip balm. The bright red color looks beautiful in the container but when I swatch it, it looks more reddish pink than bright red.

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balm in Hot Lips.

Hot Lips is a beautiful pinky red lip balm which is quite heavily pigmented for a lip balm. This is my favorite one out off the two :)

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balms in Kiss Me & Hot Lips.

The lip balms are vanilla scented which I absolutely love. Vanilla is one off my all time favorite scents, I can never get enough off it. These lip balms are very moisturizing and they have a hint off color to them that is not too overpowering. They range from nudes to reds to beautiful soft bright pinks. I really want to try out the other shades from this collection, they all look so pretty especially Great Lips and Sweet Kiss! How adorable are the names? :)

I really like everyone can enjoy this collection. The lip balms and nail polishes are only £2 each which is a total steal. My lips gets very dry so a good lip balm is a must have for me. I think these are great to keep in your handbag for touch ups throughout the day. They also last a while on your lips which is great. I highly recommend that you check out this collection, you get a lot off product for the price :)

Where to buy?
The MUA Love Hearts Collection is available on Makeup Academy's website. You can buy the nail polishes here and the lipbalms here :)

Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool: Review & Photos

Hey Sweeties, how are you guys doing today? :)
The Cleansing & Polishing Tool is from Sigma Beauty's Think Pink Collection. It comes with three brush heads, carefully designed to exfoliate and polish your skin to be perfectly smooth and flawless before and after your makeup application!

♥ Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

I like how easy it is to use. You just add a small amount of your favorite facial cleanser directly on to the brush head and then apply it to your face. Click the little pink button in the center once and you get regular speed. If you click it again, you get high speed. The brush head rotates, massaging the product into your skin, exfoliating dead skin cells and exposing fresh healthy skin. Remember to keep your entire exfoliation process under one minute. Once your finished, apply your favorite moisturizer.

♥ The soft brush head is recommended for daily facial exfoliation for normal skin and occasional exfoliation for sensitive skin.

♥ The medium brush head is recommended for daily overall body exfoliation and occasional facial exfoliation for normal skin.

♥ The firm brush head is recommended for deeper body exfoliation of dry areas such as the elbows, knees and heels.

♥ Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

I like the packaging off this product a lot. It comes in this pink plastic case which is very handy for traveling and for storing everything when your not using it. The only thing that I don't like about the case is that its difficult to get the brush heads out of the slots. The tool feels quite light and it fits perfectly in my hand and it has enough weight to it that it doesn't feel cheaply made.

♥ Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

When it comes to the product itself, I don't recommend using it on your face if you have really sensitive skin like me. Its way to rough, to the point that it almost hurts a little. But I do like it for exfoliating dry areas on my body such as my heels. Another thing that I don't like about this product is that the brush head rotates so fast, making splashes everywhere. So don't stand too close to your mirror or you have to do some mayor cleaning afterwards.

The Sigma Beauty Cleansing & Polishing Tool is water resistant and it requires two AA batteries. The batteries are not included so you have to buy them as well.

Cleansing & Polishing Tool is  $39 on Sigma Beauty's website. I think its a reasonable price for this product but I wouldn't have paid any more for it. My skin is just too sensitive for this product so its not for me but keep in mind that just because I don't like it, doesn't mean that you wont. Everyone is different :)

If you don't want to go all out and spend your money on a Clarisonic Mia, this isn't a terrible choice. Sigma have released a kit called Spa Solutions which contains three unique attachments for your Cleansing & Polishing Tool. One off the attachments is an Extra-Soft Brush which is made for gentle cleansing of extra sensitive skin. It might work much better than the soft brush head that comes with the Cleansing & Polishing Tool.

The Body Shop Vanilla Body Lotion: Review, Photos & Swatch

Hey Cutie Pies, how are you all doing today? :)

Tonight I want to share my favorite body lotion with all off you. This is the Vanilla Body Lotion from The Body Shop. It is a lightweight body lotion that includes notes off vanilla, lemon, plum and jasmine blended together to create a sweet, warm and velvety vanilla fragrance. It also includes Babassu Oil and grape seed oil which moisturizes the skin and restores moisture and smoothness. Its a very light body lotion that quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling softer and smoother for hours.

This is one off the body lotions I have tried that doesn't leave my skin feeling super greasy. I can't stand the greasiness that some body lotions have. I get this urgent need to take a shower or wash my hands after I have used a greasy body lotion, do you get that feeling too?

I'm such a sucker for products that smells good! Sometimes that can be the whole reason for buying a product. Crazy huh, but I bet I'm not the only one out there? :)

The warm Vanilla scent is one off the reasons why I love this body lotion so much. The scent is a little strong but that only makes it last longer on the skin. When I get out off the shower, this is the body lotion that I reach for. I absolutely love how soft it makes my skin feel, its definitely one off the best body lotions that i have tried.

The packaging is very simple but still cute enough to have out on display on your bathroom shelf. The bottle is a little too hard to squeeze and it can be difficult to get product out off it. I think that a pump would be much more practical, maybe they will change that in the future. The consistency off the body lotion is just right, not to thick not to thin!

I paid $23 for this body lotion which is a little expensive but I have had this 200ml bottle for a while now and I still have quite a lot off product left in the bottle. How long a bottle is going to last you depends on how much and how often you use it.

I remember using this body lotion a few years ago but they stopped selling it in here. I recently saw it back in the store and I just had to pick one up for myself and my mom as well. Let's hope they still have it when I run off it. If you love sweet scents, I highly recommend that you check this one out :)

Where to buy?
I recommend that you check out your local The Body Shop store to see if they have it. Its available on their UK website, you can find it here. I also managed to find a seller on Ebay but he/she only has one left so if you want it, you have to hurry before someone else grabs it! Here is the link :)

Do you have any favorite products from The Body Shop? Any recommendations? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥
