Outfit Of The Day: Neon Yellow

Hey Sweeties :)
Its time for another outfit post, are you guys as excited as I am? I have decided that I'm going to try and do these type of posts at least twice a week. I love sharing my style with you all, and I know there are a few of you out there who want me to keep doing these posts.

I'm also going to start doing celebrity looks for less, which I'm super excited about. So if you have a favorite celebrity that you want me to feature in my posts, please leave them in the comments below :)

 What I'm Wearing:
♥ Top from Gina Tricot.
♥ Shorts from Vila.
♥ Shoes from Jeffrey Campbell.

I'm in love with this neon yellow top from Gina Tricot. I think this is a really fun top for summer, it gives your outfit that pop of color and makes it more fun. Another big favorite of mine, are these boots from Jeffrey Campbell. I'm very surprised how comfortable they are, it doesn't feel like I'm are wearing heels at all. The spikes are quite sharp, so you definitely have to a little careful :)

What do you think about the big neon trend for summer? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Nails Of The Day: Essie's Mojito Madness & Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday

Hey Sweeties :)
Its been a while since I have done a ''Nails Of The Day'' post for you guys, so I thought this would be the perfect time to show you what I'm wearing on my nails at this very moment :)

♥ Essie's Mojito Madness & Deporah Lippmann's Happy Birthday.

♥ Swatch - Mojito Madness & Happy Birthday.

♥ Swatch - Mojito Madness & Happy Birthday.

I absolutely love how Mojito Madness and Happy Birthday look together, I think they look so pretty together. Happy Birthday is actually my very first nail polish from Deborah Lippmann, my sister surprised me with it for my birthday and I'm so excited about it.

After seeing swatches of Essie's Mojito Madness online, I just knew that I had to pick it up and try it out. I absolutely love this beautiful green color, it reminds me of grass. However, I don't like how it turned out on my nails, it looks so bubbly. I have heard that the best way to prevent bubbles, is to roll the polish in between your hands instead of shaking the bottle before you apply it. I'm definitely trying that out next time I'm going to wear it :)

What do you think about this combination? What are you wearing on your nails at the moment? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

My June favorites

Hey Sweeties :)
Its time for yet another monthly favorites post, can you believe that? I have been loving quite a few products for the month of June, and now I'm really excited to share them all with you. Keep reading if you want to see pictures of my favorite products for the month of June :)

♥ Maybelline New York - Fit Me Foundation.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer.

I have been mixing the L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer with the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and it gives my skin such a beautiful and healthy glow. I just love how these two products look together. I use the Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer with my foundations as well as my BB creams :)

♥ Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

♥ MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork.

♥ Elf Cosmetics Natural Eyeshadow Palette.

My mom surprised me with the MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork for my birthday. I have been using it almost every single day since I got it, so I just had to include it in my favorites post. I have been using Groundwork and the light brown eyeshadow in the middle (second row) from the Elf Cosmetics Natural palette and I absolutely love how they both look together. I'm such a sucker for neutral eyeshadows :)

 ♥ Sigma Beauty F80 Brush.

The F80 brush from Sigma Beauty is the only brush I use to apply my liquid foundation with. I absolutely love how soft this brush is, it is the perfect brush to apply liquid foundation with. It makes the application so much easier and my skin looks flawless. This is by far my favorite brush from Sigma Beauty and I highly recommend that you check it out :)

♥ Wet n' Wild Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink.

 ♥ MAC Lipstick in Snob.

 ♥ MAC Lipstick in Chatterbox.

I have been wearing Snob and Chatterbox a lot lately. I don't like how Snob looks on me alone, so I have paired it with Chatterbox and it just gives you the prettiest barbie pink lips. It is a great combination, definitely try it out if you have both of these in your collection :)

♥ MUA Love Heart Lip Balm in Hot Lips.

I'm completely obsessed with these Love Heart Lip Balms from Makeup Academy. A good lip balm is something that I need to have in my handbag, because my lips get really dry sometimes and I absolutely hate that feeling. Hot Lips is a really pretty tinted lip balm that is going to give your lips a beautiful wash of color :)

♥ Perfume: Beyonce - Heat

Beyonce's perfume called Heat is probably my favorite perfume in my perfume collection. I absolutely love how good it smells, I have already finished a few bottles of this perfume and I can't wait to get a new one :)

Which products have you been loving for the month of June? Any recommendations? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Haul Post: Gina Tricot, Simple, H&M & Essie

Hey Sweeties :)
I wanted to share the items that I recently picked up from my shopping trip with my mom. Gina Tricot which is my favorite store at the moment, is currently having 50% of on a lot of their items. I found two, beautiful dresses on sale, which I'm super excited to share with you all. I hope you like my post, please let me know what you think about the items I picked up :)

 ♥ Dress from Gina Tricot.

I picked up this gorgeous black dress from Gina Tricot. It was on sale for $25 which I think is a total steal for such a beautiful dress. I can't wait to wear this, it is one of those dresses that is perfect for every occasion. Everyone should have a little black dress in their closet :)

♥ Biker pants from Gina Tricot.

I picked up these super cute biker pants from Gina Tricot as well. The reason why I picked these up, is because I'm going to wear them underneath my denim shorts and let the lace peek through, I love how that looks. I will feature these in a upcoming outfit post and show you how it looks :)

♥ Maxi Dress from Gina Tricot.

How beautiful is this leopard maxi dress? It was on sale for only $12 which is amazing. I can't wait to wear this with a denim jacket and some comfortable sandals or some wedges. I have been really into maxi dresses lately, I just love how comfortable they are. How would you wear this maxi dress? :)

 ♥ iPhone 4 Case from H&M.

When I saw this iPhone case at H&M, I just knew that it had to be mine. It is mint green with rhinestones, so pretty. This case is going to sparkle so beautifully when the sun hits it :)

 ♥ Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes.

I picked up these Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes from a store called Europris. I love that these come in a extra value pack as well, because I go through makeup remover wipes like there is no tomorrow, ha ha! :)

 ♥ Essie's Mojito Madness.

Essie's Mojito Madness is a nail polish that I have been seeing everywhere on beauty blogs lately. I just knew that i had to have it after seeing swatches of it online. I'm so happy that I found it at H&M.They didn't have many left, so it looks like it is a very popular nail polish for summer. Mojito Madness is going to be the next color I paint my nails with, so be sure to keep your eyes open for a review and swatches :)

What do you think about the items that I picked up? Have you bought anything on sale lately? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

NARS Blush in Liberté: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
Tonight's review is going to be all about this pretty blush from NARS called Liberté. To see pictures and swatches of Liberté , just keep reading :)

The NARS blushes help you to create a soft and sheer look. Imparts a natural, healthy glow for any skin tone and may be worn alone or layered together for more depth and intensity. The NARS blushes are made with transparent pigments to avoid heaviness and they come in a range of shades to complement any skin tone.

♥ NARS Blush in Liberté.

♥ NARS Blush in Liberté.

Liberté means freedom in French and it is a burnt orange-red blush with a very subtle shimmer. It is really pigmented, so be sure to use a light hand when you apply it. I'm very impressed with the pigmentation of this blush, you don't need a lot of product on your brush at all.

I think it is always better to start of with a little amount of product and just go back and apply more if you feel like you need it. It is always easy to go back and apply more color, but if you already have applied too much, its not that easy to remove and you probably have to remove your makeup and start over again.

♥ NARS Blush in Liberté.

I'm a huge fan of the NARS packaging. Their blushes come in a nice and dark case which is matte and has the NARS logo in white. I think the black, matte packaging makes their products look really classy, elegant and well put together. I love that you also get a mirror with the blush, a mirror is always handy to have when you are on the go.

♥ NARS Blush in Liberté.

♥ Swatch - NARS Blush in Liberté.

When I first saw Liberté, I thought that it looked quite scary and intimidating. But after playing around with it, its actually not as scary as I thought it would be. Its very build able, so you can use it intensely or more sheered out. Because it is so pigmented, you need to be a little careful when you apply it. You only have to dab your brush lightly into the blush, and you have more than enough product on it to apply on to your cheeks.

♥ Swatch - NARS Blush in Liberté.

My Opinion:
NARS is a brand that I have loved for a while now. I absolutely love their products and I think that the quality of their products are just fantastic, you definitely get what you pay for. Liberté is a very pretty blush, but I think that its going to look better on people with deeper complexions, but that doesn't mean that people with lighter complexions can't use it. You just have to be a little careful when you apply it, because it can quickly look unflattering if you apply too much. Overall, Liberté is a very pretty blush for summer and I highly recommend that you check it out if you like what you see :)

Where to buy?
Liberté is available on HQ Hair for £21.00. You can find it here.

China Glaze - Fast Track: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
I have another beautiful nail polish from China Glaze to share with you all tonight. I have been really into shimmery nail polishes lately, they are so fun and girly, everyone needs a little sparkle in their life. To see pictures and swatches of Fast Track, just keep reading :)

♥ Fast Track by China Glaze.

Fast Track is a beige-taupe nail polish with gold and green shimmer. This nail polish is from the Hunger Games collection, which came out a while ago. This is actually the only nail polish from the Hunger Games collection that caught my eye :)

♥ Fast Track by China Glaze.

The consistency of Fast Track is a little thin compared to some of the other nail polishes I have from China Glaze. I love nail polishes that have a thinner consistency (not runny) because I find those to be easier to apply.

♥ Fast Track by China Glaze.

Fast Track is a little sheer on the first coat, so you have to apply a few coats to make it opaque. I personally don't mind applying an extra coat, because Fast Track looks absolutely stunning when its on the nails. I also love that you don't have to be out in the sunlight to actually see the shimmer in the nail polish. Fast Track is definitely one of the prettiest nail polishes in my China Glaze collection, I love it.

My Opinion:
If you are thinking about picking up any colors from the Hunger Games collection, I highly recommend that you pick up Fast Track. I think its such a pretty nail polish and it stands out from quite a few of the other colors in the collection :)
Where to buy?
Fast Track is available on BeautyJoint for $3.99 . You can find this product here. Enter Coupon Code CIVERSEN for 5% of your order.

China Glaze Sea Spray: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
Tonight's review is going to be all about China Glaze's Sea Spray. China Glaze is one of my favorite nail polish brands, so I'm very excited to share pictures and swatches of Sea Spray with you all. For pictures and swatches of Sea Spray, just keep reading :)

♥ Sea Spray by China Glaze.

♥ Swatch - Sea Spray by China Glaze.

Sea Spray is a dusty light blue/grey nail polish with silver shimmers. It was released with the Anchors Away collection which came out in Spring 2011.

I found the consistesy of this nail polish to be a little thick, but not to the point that it was difficult to apply. Sea Spray was a little streaky on the first coat, but it went on much smoother on the second coat. It was fully opaque after just two, thick coats, but I applied three coats just to make sure that it looked even. Sea Spray has silver shimmer but it hardly shows up on the nails.

My Opinion:
Sea Spray is a really beautiful and neutral nail polish that is perfect if you just want to wear something very simple on your nails. If you are into light blue/grey nail polishes, I highly recommend that you check out this nail polish from China Glaze.

Where to buy?
Sea Spray is available on BeautyJoint for $3.99 . You can find this product here. Enter Coupon Code CIVERSEN for 5% of your order.
