BITE BEAUTY LUMINOUS CREME LIPSTICK IN SHIRAZ: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

♥ Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Shiraz.

My Thoughts:
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Shiraz ($34.95 for 3.74g/0.13oz.) is a gorgeous dusty plum lipstick. It's smooth and easy to apply. The pigmentation is wonderful, the shade is build able and it last a while on the lips before it needs to re-applied. It's got a nice and creamy texture, which feels nice and moisturizing on the lips.

Shiraz comes in a simple, matte black tube with the Bite logo on it. I'm not the biggest fan off the scent (has a similar scent as the Kat Von D Painted Love Lipsticks.) but once I have applied it, I don't notice the scent anymore! :-)

It contain red wine resveratrol, which delivers a micro-dose of antioxidants with every application. It's free of synthetics, polybutenes and petroleum byproducts, and it's made exclusively with lip nurturing food-grade ingredients that are healthy enough to eat.

Several of the Bity Beauty products contain concentrated whole superfruits, such as açaí, cranberry, blueberry and pomegranate. The luxurious feeling comes from organic shea and fruit butters, essential oils and jojoba beads, without the use of polybutenes and petroleum byproducts!

Overall, I'm very impressed with this lipstick from Bite Beauty. The shade is gorgeous, the pigmentation is great and it feels very comfortable and hydrating on the lips. If you want a lipstick that's a little darker than your usual ''nude'' shade, Shiraz is a great choice! :-)

PRODUCTS WORTH BUYING VOL.3: URBAN DECAY NAKED BASICS EYESHADOW PALETTE

Hey Everyone :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to all my lovely friends in the US! How are you all doing today? Hope you are having a great day! Today's post is going to be all about an eyeshadow palette that I have been loving a lot lately, the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette! :-)

 ♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics.

The Urban Decay Naked Basics palette is such a nice and handy little eyeshadow palette. It comes with six eyeshadows, one shimmery shade and five matte shades. The shadows are very smooth and easy to apply, and they blend like a charm. They are nicely pigmented but I do find them to be just a little powdery, nothing too extreme though. Just tap off any extra product that's left on your brush before application, and you are good to go!

My favorite shade in the entire palette is Naked 2. It's such a pretty, rosy taupe shadow which makes a great crease color. When I'm in a hurry and don't know which eyeshadow to use, I always go for Naked 2 and Brule by MAC Cosmetics. Brule brightens up the eye lid, while Naked 2 gives the crease a little bit off definition. It's a very quick and easy look to do, and the two shades look great together :-)

- Venus is a shimmery off-white.
- Foxy is a yellow beige with a matte finish.
- W.O.S (Walk Of Shame) is a pinky nude with a matte finish.
- Naked 2 is a rosy taupe with a matte finish.
- Faint is a dark brown with a matte finish.
- Crave is a deep brown/black with a matte finish.

 ♥ Swatch: Venus, Foxy & W.O.S.

 ♥ Swatch: Naked 2, Faint & Crave.

The Naked Basics palette is a very travel friendly eyeshadow palette. It's very small and compact, so it's not going to take up much room in your makeup bag or in your handbag (it's just a little smaller than my iPhone 4). You also get a decent sized mirror as well, which is always handy when you are on the go.

I do think that the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette is worth checking out, especially if you love neutral eyeshadows. It's got all the shades that you need to create a simple and pretty neutral eye look. The eyeshadows are very pretty, they are easy to blend and the pigmentation is good! Overall, I'm very pleased with this palette! :-)

What do you think about the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette? Do you like it? :-) Love, Christine♥

SWATCH OF THE WEEK VOL.2: FORMULA X FOR SEPHORA IN THRILLING

Hey Everyone :-)
Happy Monday! How are you doing today? How was your weekend? I have a brand new ''Swatch Of The Week'' post to share with you guys today. This post is going to be all about Thrilling, which is part off the Formula X for Sephora nail polish range.

The Formula X nail polishes are only available at Sephora stores and on their website. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few off the shades that I really wanted on eBay. There are still a bunch off shades available if you are interested, HERE is the link to the seller I used. If you don't like to use eBay, you can also use a mail forwarding website to get products shipped to you from Sephora. I've used one called Shipito before and it works great! The delivery time is good and the shipping cost isn't too expensive either! :-)

♥ Swatch: Formula X for Sephora in Thrilling.

Thrilling is a beautiful cloud grey nail polish, which is part of their new neutrals collection. It's very creamy and easy to apply. The consistency is nice and thick, and it's got a glossy and pretty finish. It dries rather quickly and it's nice and opaque in two coats. It's such a beautiful color, and a great everyday shade. If you are into neutral nail polishes, I think you would love this one a lot! :-)

♥ Swatch: Formula X for Sephora in Thrilling.

One off the things that I really like about the Formula X for Sephora nail polish range, is that there are so many different shades and finishes to choose from. I definitely want to add some more shades to my collection. I'm dying to try out a few off their glitter polishes, they look so pretty. I already have Bionic in my collection, which I will be swatching for you guys very soon! :-)

What do you think about Thrilling? Have you tried out the Formula X for Sephora nail polishes? Do you have a favorite? :-) Love, Christine♥

KIEL BEAUTY HAUL: YSL, LOREAL PARIS, OPI, ESSIE & CATRICE

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you doing today? How is your day going so far? Are you looking forward to the weekend? Simon and I just recently got back from a weekend cruise trip to Kiel (last weekend). We had such a lovely time aboard the ship and in the four hours we got to spend in Kiel on Saturday. I managed to pick up a few beauty goodies a long the way too, which I wanted to share with you guys in a little blog post.

So without further ado, here are the items that I picked up on our Kiel trip! If you want me to review/swatch any off the products down below, please let me know in the comments down below and I would be more than happy to do so :-)
♥ YSL Le Teint Touce Eclat Foundation & L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation.

I knew that I wanted to pick up a new high-end foundation on the trip. After trying out a bunch off foundations, I ended up with the YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation. According to the makeup artist who helped me find the right shade, this foundation is supposed to be great for people with dry skin. My skin has been so dry lately due to the really cold weather, so that's the reason why I got this one. One off the makeup artists applied it on me at the store, and I really liked how it looked on my skin. I'm definitely excited to try this out some more :-)

♥ OPI Nail Laquer in Peace & Love & OPI, Liquid Sand in Alcatraz...Rocks & Muir Muir On The Wall.

♥ OPI Nail Laquer in Peace & Love & OPI, Liquid Sand in Alcatraz...Rocks & Muir Muir On The Wall.

♥ Essie Wicked & Catrice Kitch Me If You Can.

I have been on a little bit off a nail polish kick lately, and I found some great shades that I wanted to add to my collection. Four off the nail polishes that I picked up are on the darker side, which doesn't surprise me at all, since I have been obsessed with darker shades lately. I picked up a bottle off the OPI Liquid Sand nail polish in Alcatraz...Rocks, which I'm very excited to try out. I also got my hands on my very first Catrice nail polish as well, which is called Kitch Me If You Can. It's a beautiful pink glitter nail polish, can't wait to try it out! :-)

♥ L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Intense Shine and Long Wear Gloss in Lolita.

♥ Catrice Arts Collection Eye and Face Palette in C02.

♥ Catrice Arts Collection Eye and Face Palette in C02.

♥ Catrice Arts Collection Eye and Face Palette in C02.

♥ Catrice Allround Concealer Palette.
We went to a big mall in Kiel on Saturday, which is where I spotted the Catrice makeup stand. Catrice is a brand that I have been wanting to try out for a while now, and I was so happy to find it there. I picked up their Limited Edition Arts Collection palette in C02, which has a bunch off really beautiful shades. I also got my hands on the Allround Concealer palette, which I have heard great things about :-)

Did you enjoy my little beauty haul? Have you tried any products by Catrice before? :-) Love, Christine♥

PRODUCTS WORTH BUYING VOL.2: MAC COSMETICS MINERALIZE SKINFINISH IN SOFT AND GENTLE

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you doing today? I hope that you are having a lovely Thursday! Before I get into this weeks ''Products Worth Buying'' post, I just have to thank you for all the feedback that I received on my previous post. I'm so happy to hear that so many off you really enjoyed the post. That makes me very happy, and it makes me want to continue doing these type off blog posts! But enough rambling from me, let's move onto this week's beauty product :-)

♥ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle.

The MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle is probably my favorite and most used highlighter in my entire makeup collection. It's a beautiful champagne highlighter, which looks gorgeous on all skin tones. It gives the face the most beautiful glow!

The pigmentation is great! It's got a very nice rose scent, which I really enjoy. The scent is very similar to the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15, except that the scent is just a little bit lighter. To apply Soft and Gentle, I like to use my Real Techniques Contour Brush. It picks up just the right amount off product, which makes it the perfect brush to use with this product :-)

♥ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle.

♥ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle.

Soft and Gentle is a little more on the pricier side ($30 for 10 g/0.35 US oz.), but I think that it's totally worth the price. You don't need to apply a lot off product, since it's quite pigmented, so it's going to last you a very long time. I've had mine for over two years now and it's still going strong, like there's no tomorrow, LOL!

I'm head over heels in love with this highlighter. It's been a big favorite off mine (and a huge staple in my makeup bag) for years, and I just can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommend that you give this one a go, I'm sure that you are going to love it just as much as I do :-)

♥ Swatch: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle.

What do you think about MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle? Do you have it in your makeup collection? What's your all-time favorite highlighter? :-) Love, Christine♥
