City Color Cosmetics Baked Blush in Pink: Review, Photos & Swatches

City Color Cosmetics Baked Blush in Pink.

Product Description:
The City Color Baked Blushes are beautifully marbleized in rich tones to give your cheeks an even splash of color. Comes in 6 colors formulated with a smooth and light application for a flawless cheekbone.

My Thoughts:
City Color Cosmetics Baked Blush in Pink ($2.99 for 0.325 oz./9.30 g.) is a pretty pink with glowy shimmer. It's easy to apply and it blends nicely into the skin. I do find that using my fingers or a very dense brush works best with this blush. I tried using my Large Angled Contour F40 brush from Sigma Beauty (one of my favorite brushes for applying blush), but the product didn't transfer as well from the brush to my cheeks. So I switched over to my Real Techniques Stippling Brush, which actually works great with this product.

City Color Cosmetics Baked Blush in Pink.

The texture of the blush is nice and very soft. It doesn't have that gritty/harsh feeling on the skin or a weird scent. It does have some shimmer to it which looks very natural on the skin, and it gives the cheeks a nice glow too. It's not the most pigmented blush that I've tried, but it gets the job done. I don't have to be as careful with it, like with some the my other blushes in my collection. It's a little sheer but the color is build able, so it's possible to make it look a little brighter if you want to :-)

City Color Cosmetics Baked Blush in Pink.

It comes in a sleek, black container with a clear lid. I love that most of the lid is clear because it allows me to see what the product looks like, and it's great for storage purposes as well. Like I mentioned in my recent review of the City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral, the product name is not listed on the back of the compact. That is the only thing I wish they would change about the packaging. So I will be adding a little sticker on the back with the name of the blush, so I know exactly what shade it is :-)

Overall, I think that this blush is okay. The shade is really pretty, I like that it gives my cheeks a pretty pink flush and a little bit of a glow as well. This blush is great to use on days that you just want a flush of color, and you don't want to risk looking like a clown for the rest of the day, LOL. It's only $2.99 so if you're in the marked for a new blush, this might be worth checking out :-)

Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner: Review & Photos

♥ Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner.

My Thoughts:
The Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner (£8.49 for 125ml/4oz.) is designed to enhance the performance and prolong the life of your brushes. It dissolves the build-up of makeup and oil, and it's ideal for cleaning natural and synthetic brushes.

It's is available in three sizes. 2oz - £4.99 (60ml - HERE), 4oz -  £8.49 (125ml - HERE) and 8oz - £9.99 (250ml - HERE). The product comes in a clear plastic bottle, with a black spray nozzle and directions on how to use it on the side of the bottle. The product itself is pink, which I think is adorable. I have a soft spot for the color pink, I just can't help myself! Ha ha, but I know I'm not the only one out there :-)

♥ Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner.

The size of the bottle is great. It's not too big, which makes it the perfect little travel companion. I also like that the bottle is clear, so I can see how much product I have left. I love that it's got a spray nozzle, because I think it makes it easier to use, it gives me a little more control over the product and it's less messy too. I don't like to waste product, and I feel like I won't do that when I use the spray nozzle.

The spray nozzle is removable so you can pour a suitable amount of product into a bowl, or spray the product directly onto a tissue paper. I have tried both methods, and I find that the product works a little better when I pour some of it into a bowl. I just dip the brush into the product and swirl it around on a clean tissue paper. It removes all the makeup in just a few seconds. I only use this to spot clean some of my smaller makeup brushes, like my eyeshadow brushes. When it comes to the more bigger brushes like my foundation, powder and blush brushes, I prefer to just deep clean them. I try to do that at least once a week but sometimes I get lazy, so this product definitely comes in handy on days that I just need a quick and easy clean :-)

 ♥ Before.

The scent is a little strong at first, but then it lingers into a lovely and fresh scent mixed with a hint of vanilla. I didn't expect it to leave my brushes smelling like sweet vanilla, so that definitely took me by surprise. This is by far the best smelling make-up brush cleaner that I have tried :-)

Overall, I really like this make-up brush cleaner from Crown Brush. It does a great job removing the makeup that is left on the brushes, it's pink and it's got a sweet vanilla scent. How much more do you want? LOL! The fact that it's got a sweet vanilla scent makes this brush cleaner unique in my book. It's definitely a product worth checking out :-)

♥ After.

You might like this product if:
♥ You like travel friendly products.
♥ You like that it's got a spray nozzle
♥ You are searching for a good quality brush cleaner.
♥ You want your makeup brushes to smell like vanilla.

You might not like this product if:
♥ You don't like vanilla scented products.
♥ You don't spot clean your makeup brushes, only deep clean them.

Ingredients:
Sodium laureth sulphate, polysorbate-20, isopropanal, deionized water, d'limonene, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, coco betaine, benzophenone-4 fragrance.

City Color Cosmetics Multi-Color Blush in Coral: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

Product Description:
Multi-Color Blush has four complementary tones to create any shade you please. Comes in 6 gorgeous combinations. Swirl all together or use individually, the soft iridescence will help add just the right amount of color to your cheek for any look.

My Thoughts:
The City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral ($2.99 for 0.285oz/8.10 g.) is a pretty peachy orange blush with shimmer. The pigmentation is good and it feels very soft and smooth on the skin. It's easy to apply and it blends nicely into the skin. It doesn't have a weird scent, and it's quite build able as well.

Coral comes with four different shades. A golden champagne, a peachy orange, a bright pink and a golden shade. All four shades can be used together to create one pretty shade, or they can be used individually as either blushes or eyeshadows. I personally prefer to swirl all four shades together, I love that peachy orange shade that you get when you blend all four shades together.

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

Coral comes in a sleek, black container with a pretty engraved design around the outer part of the compact. The middle part of the compact is clear, which allows you to see what the product looks like. I really like that, because it let's me see the product clearly, and it's very effective for storage purposes as well. The name of the blush is not listed on the back of the compact, which is the only thing I wish they would change about the packaging. I have added a little sticker with the name of the blush, just so I don't forget what it's called.

Overall, I do think that Coral is a nice blush. The shade is very pretty, it's nicely pigmented and easy to apply and blend into the skin. It does have some shimmer to it so if that is something you don't like in a blush, I'm not sure if this one is for you. I don't mind the shimmer, because I like that it gives my skin a little bit of a glow. I also like that you get a good amount of product for the price, it's definitely a blush that is worth checking out :-)

Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia.

Description:
Recklessly loaded with pigment for maximum impact, Lime Crime opaque lipsticks come in a rainbow of statement-making shades to underscore your individuality.

My Thoughts:
Lime Crime's Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia ($15.99 for 0.12 oz/3.5 g.) is a bright fuchsia with a satin finish. It's very easy to apply, and it feels nice and smooth on the lips. It's highly pigmented, moisturizing and it last a while on my lips, before I have to re-apply it. It's got a sweet vanilla scent, which is similar to the lipsticks by MAC.

Lime Crime are known for their bright and fun shades, and Centrifuchsia is no exception. I'm a neutral lipstick kind of girl, but sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone and rock a bold lip. Centrifuchsia comes in a purple tube with Lime Crime's logo and signature unicorn on the side of the tube. I'm head over heels in love with the packaging. I think it's so adorable, fun and super girly :-)

Overall, I really like Centrifuchsia. It's highly pigmented, the shade is pretty and it's long lasting. If your not comfortable with wearing really bright shades like this one, you can make it more wearable by dabbing it on your lips for just a wash of color. It's a great way to make brighter shades more wearable, and it's something I do quite often :-)

MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love.

Description:
Available in six rich bold shades from chic nude ‘Rendez Vous’ to deep rich rasberry ‘Broken Hearted’, our new colour intense lip tints will ensure your lips will look good enough to kiss! MUA Power Pout is a lip treatment with colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips providing immediate moisturisation. The handy pencil-style applicator provides easy to apply sheer soft lip colour and rolls up for easy use.

My Thoughts:
MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love (£3.00 for 12M.) is a lovely berry toned balm stain with a golden sheen. It's very smooth and easy to apply, and it feels nice and soft on the lips. The pigmentation is great and it's also very moisturizing, which is nice if you have dry lips like myself. Crazy In Love gives my lips a nice tint of color and a pretty glossy look.

It comes in a deep burgundy and silver tube. It has a twist up mechanism at the bottom of the tube, so you don't need to sharpen it. I think this is such a brilliant idea, because sharping these type of products can be quite messy. You also don't waste any product either, which is always a huge plus in my book :-)

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Power Pout Color Intense Tint & Balm in Crazy In Love.

Crazy In Love has that same minty scent and taste, like most of these type of tinted balm stains (Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Lusters and Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains) have. It also has a cooling effect as well, which I find very refreshing. The color last a while on my lips, before I have to re-apply it again. The shade of the balm isn't the exact same shade as the on you see on tube, so keep that in mind before you order online. I do recommend that you look up swatches online before you order, so you won't get disappointed when you receive them.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the Crazy In Love Power Pout by MUA Makeup Academy. The shade is really beautiful, the pigmentation is wonderful and it feels nice and moisturizing on the lips. If you love berry toned lip products, I'm sure that you are going to like this shade a lot. The quality is great and it's such a handy little lip product to just pop in your handbag for touch ups :-)

Youngblood Lipstick in Debalicious: Review, Photos & Swatches

 ♥ Youngblood Lipstick in Debalicious.

Description:
Get gorgeous lips with our colorful range of luxurious lipsticks. The lanolin-free formula contains a special blend of natural oils and vitamins. Stays fresh-looking for hours.

My Thoughts:
Debalicious (230NOK/$19 for 0.14 oz/4 g.) is a creamy, long lasting bubblegum pink. It's smooth and easy to apply, and it glides on beautifully on the lips. It's very comfortable to wear, and it doesn't feel drying on my lips at all.

It comes in a black and sleek tube, with the Youngblood initials on top of the lipstick cap and the name of the lipstick on the bottom of the tube. Debalicious is a little too light for my taste, so I prefer to wear a darker pink lipgloss on top of it, just to make it more wearable for me. It's got that waxy scent/taste which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I do get used to it after a while. If you love pink shades like this one, you are going to love Debalicious :-)

Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity.

Description:
Use your eye-magination! Four complementary shades come in a sleek, mirrored compact for limitless looks. The formula sweeps on like silk and wears for hours. Each compact includes matte, pearl and shimmery finishes that blend together easily.

My Thoughts:
The Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity (477NOK/$43.00 for 0.14 oz/4 g.) comes with four, neutral and beautiful eyeshadows called Quartz, Silken, Mink and Spice. They are super soft, smooth and easy to work with. They are very easy to blend, and the color payoff is wonderful. The eyeshadows are not too powdery, so they are not going to give you a lot of fallout :-)

♥ Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity.

♥ Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity.

♥ Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity.

The eyeshadows come in this black and sleek quad, with a decent sized mirror inside. You also get a little sponge tip applicator which I normally don't use, but it can be quite handy if you are going to travel and you don't want to take a bunch of makeup brushes with you. I really like that the name of each eyeshadow is on the back of the quad, because some quads don't have that and I find it to be a bit annoying.

♥ Quartz - a champagne pink.
♥ Silken - a peachy pink
♥ Mink - a pretty gold.
♥ Spice - a medium brown with hints of golden shimmer.

♥ Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in Eternity.

Overall, I really like this eyeshadow quad from Youngblood. The eyeshadows are very beautiful, pigmented and easy to work with. I'm such a sucker for neutral eyeshadows, so this quad is right up my alley :-)

The MUA Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (£3.00 for 7.5g.) is a pinky champagne highlighting powder, that is designed to provide sheer coverage and a radiant soft-focus effect to transform your complexion with luminescence shimmer. It perfects any look by creating a natural glow that is suitable for all skin tones.

It's very easy to work with, it blends nicely into the skin and it gives it a pretty and healthy looking glow. It comes in a white container with a clear lid. I love that the lid is clear because I like that I can see how the product looks like, and it's also great for storage as well. I'm a big fan of the white packaging, I think it looks very clean and cute. What do you guys think? :-)

I like to apply it with my Real Techniques Contour Brush. It's such a great brush, it picks up just the right amount of product and it blends it beautifully into the skin. The MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter feels very soft and smooth on my skin, and it doesn't have that gritty feeling, like some highlighters do.

Overall, I do think that this is a great highlighter. If you are new to makeup or you don't want to spend a lot of money on a good highlighter, this is a nice alternative. You get a lot of product for the price, which is great. It's not the best highlighter that I have tried, but it's definitely worth checking out :-)
