MY MONTHLY FAVORITES: AUGUST 2015

Yet another month have passed by, which meas that it's time for me to share my August beauty favorites with you. Despite being sick with the flu and a really bad cough, August has been a good month. I have tried out a handful of new products this month, but only a few of them has made their way into my favorites. I have also re-discovered a couple of products as well, which I'm really excited to share with you in today's post.

So if you want to see what beauty products I have been loving this month, then keep reading! :-)
♥ Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, (HERE).

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is hands down one of my favorite top coats to finish of my new manicure. It makes the nail polish look gorgeous and so shiny. It evens out any mistakes that you might have made during the application and makes the nail polish look flawless on. It dries very quickly and it makes the nails quite hard, almost like gel nails.

The only thing that I don't like about Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is that it gets all goopy after a while. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about if you have tried it out for yourself. Seche makes a product called Seche Restore, (HERE) which is an restoration thinner. It's going to restore your Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat to it's original consistency with only a few drops of the restoration thinner. I think it's a must have if you own a bottle of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat in your collection.

♥ NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach, (HERE).

♥ NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach, (HERE).

♥ NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach, (HERE).

You might have seen me talk about this beauty of a blush in a couple of my previous monthly favorites posts, if not your in for a real treat. NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in Peach is a gorgeous peachy pink blush, which I have been reaching for a lot this month. It's nicely pigmented and it looks so pretty and natural on the cheeks. It's a lovely every day blush, which looks beautiful with any makeup look. I'm a big fan of these powder blushes from NYX Cosmetics. I think that the quality is great and they are quite affordable as well, which is always a good thing! :-)
♥ L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis Nail Polish in Cliche Mania, (HERE).

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis Nail Polish in Cliche Mania is a gorgeous, medium dark purple. I have been wearing it on my nails for the past couple of weeks and I'm already hooked on it. The formula and pigmentation is wonderful and it's so creamy and easy to apply. It has held up pretty nicely on my nails. No chips during the first week, which is quite rare for me. Nail polishes usually only last up to 5-6 days on my nails, no matter what base and top coat I'm using.

Cliche Mania is such a gorgeous color, which I think is the perfect color for Autumn and Winter. I'm already looking forward to painting my nails with this color again, it's such a stunning shade. If you missed my latest nail post featuring this lovely nail polish, you can check it out here! :-)
♥ L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Fairest Nude, (HERE).

♥ L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in Fairest Nude, (HERE).

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche in Fairest Nude is one of my all-time favorite lipsticks. It's a beautiful pinky brown with a shiny finish. It's a smooth, creamy and pigmented lipstick that last a while on my lips before I need to re-apply it. It's a little on the darker side, which I really like. I'm obsessed with deeper and darker nudes, I just think that they look a lot better on me compared to the more lighter shades.Definitely make sure to let me know your thoughts on Fairest Nude if you have tried it out or what you think about it if you do decide to pick up a tube for yourself. I would love to hear what you think about it! :-)
♥ Lush Cosmetics Mask Of Magnaminty, (HERE).

♥ Lush Cosmetics Mask Of Magnaminty, (HERE).

Lush Cosmetics Mask Of Magnaminty has been my go-to face mask in August. It's a peppermint mask, which fights breakouts and help your skin return to it's tip top condition. It's quite thick and it leaves behind that tingly, cold feeling on the skin. I like to use it once a week to keep my skin pimple free. I love that it's got a green tint to it, makes me look like The Hulk whenever I'm wearing it, haha.

I love how amazing and hydrated my skin feels after I've rinsed it off, such a refreshing feeling. Whenever I can feel or see a pimple starting to pop out, I apply this on the area and let it sit on my skin for about 10-15 minutes (I usually do this before I go to bed) and it's completely gone the next morning. It's magic in a tub, definitely worth picking up if you struggle with breakouts.

What products have you been loving this month? Have you tried out any of my favorites? If you have, what do you think about them? :-)
Love, Christine ♥

TAG: LIP PRODUCT ADDICT

Hey guys, how are you doing today? I hope that you are having a lovely day! I recently came across the Lip Product Addict tag over at Leah's blog Reviews on Beauty. I'm obsessed with lip products, especially lipsticks, so I thought it would be fun to do this tag as well! There are seven questions in total, so let's get started! :-)

♥ EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit & LUSH Cosmetics Lip Scrub in Mint Julips.

1. Favourite Balm or Treatment:
My favorite balm is hands down the Summer Fruit Lip Balm by EOS. It makes my lips so soft and smooth, I'm obsessed. As for treatments, I love the Mint Julips Lip Scrub from LUSH Cosmetics. It does a really nice job exfoliating the lips. My lips always feel super soft and luscious afterwards. Highly recommend them! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Lip Lacquer in Stellar.

2. Best Eye-Catching Red:
As I have mentioned a few times before, I have never been a big fan off red lipsticks. I do have a few in my collection, but I hardly ever wear them. I don't think that they look that good on me to be honest, maybe I just haven't found the right kind off red that suits me and my skin tone.

I do like the Rimmel London Lip Lacquer in Stellar though. It's not a true red, it's more off a bright pink with hint off red. It's one off those shades that lights up your face and make you look alive, if that makes any sense, LOL! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Lip Lacquer in Stellar.

♥ YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in #20 Spicy Pink.

3. Best Luxury & Best Drugstore Lip Product:
The best luxury lip product that I own is by YSL. I have two off their Rouge Volupte lipsticks in my makeup collection. I like both off the shades, but my favorite is #20 Spicy Pink. It's a pretty dusty rose with a slight mauve undertone. It's incredible creamy and it looks very glossy on the lips. I really want to get my hands on a few more shades, too bad they are so expensive.

As for the best drugstore lip product, I'm a big fan off the Milani Color Statement Lipsticks and the NYX Cosmetics Round Lipsticks. Revlon also have a bunch off really nice shades as well, I adore their Lip Butter range! :-)

♥ Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Naturally Chic, NYX Round Lipstick in Paris & Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie.

4. Best MAC Lipstick:
I have a couple off MAC lipsticks that I really like and find myself reaching for a lot. They are called Playtime and Taupe. Unfortunately, Playtime was released as part off the Venomous Villains Collection for Disney, so I'm not sure if you can find it anymore. You might be able to find it on eBay or maybe Amazon! :-)

♥ MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Taupe & Playtime.

5. Most Disappointing Lip Product:
I can't think off a lip product that has disappointed me. I usually just get rid off products that I don't like/doesn't work with me. I'm sure there have been a few lip products that I haven't enjoyed, but I can't think off any right now! :-)

6. Lip Liner - Yes or No?
I actually don't have a lot off lip liners in my makeup collection. I have a couple off the Slim Lip Liners from NYX Cosmetics that I like, but it's been a while since I have used them! :-)

♥ Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Nude Lustre & Pink Afterglow.

7. Favourite Gloss:
I'm a big fan off the Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses. Pink Afterglow and Nude Lustre is my favorite shades from that range. I also love the NYX Cosmetics Butter Glosses in Tiramisu and Strawberry Parfait. I also have to mention Revenge is Sweet by MAC, which came out with the Disney Villain collection. I love pairing that particular lip gloss with the Playtime lipstick by MAC Cosmetics! :-)

♥ NYX Cosmetics Butter Gloss in Tiramisu and Strawberry Parfait. MAC Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Revenge is Sweet.

Have you done this tag? If you haven't done it already, I tag you to do it. Make sure to send me your link, because I would love to see it. Hope you enjoyed going through my answers :-) Love, Christine♥

LUSH COSMETICS HANDY GURUGU HAND CREAM: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

LUSH Cosmetics Handy Gurugu Hand Cream ($18.95 for 100g/3.5oz.) is the richest, most luxurious hand cream from LUSH Cosmetics. It's made with hand blended organic shea, cashew, almond, pumpkin seed butters and soothing essential oils to moisturize dry hands. It absorbs easily into my skin, leaving my hands soft and smooth with a delicious and fresh herbal-scent.

♥ LUSH Cosmetics Handy Gurugu Hand Cream.

A little definitely goes a long way with this hand cream. I have been using it for a couple off months now, and it looks like I have barely touched the product in the container. It does leave behind a little bit off a greasy/oily feeling, but it's nothing that I can't handle. I love using Handy Gurugu before I go to bed. I apply a good amount off the hand cream and let it soak into my skin. My hands feel so smooth and soft the next day, it's amazing.

Overall, I'm head over heels in love with this hand cream from LUSH Cosmetics. I love how soft my hands feel afterwards. It leaves behind a delightful scent as well, which I can't get enough off. I'm obsessed! This is hands down one off the best hand creams that I have tried.

It has completely changed my hands for the better. I used to have really dry hands, lots off dry patches. Thanks to Handy Gurugu and the Dream Cream (also from LUSH Cosmetics), they are completely gone. Definitely check out this product next time your in a LUSH Cosmetics store, I think you would like it a lot! :-)

LUSH COSMETICS DREAM CREAM BODY LOTION: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

The LUSH Cosmetics Dream Cream Body Lotion (219NOK/$26.95 for 8.4 oz.) is a gentle cream for troubled and sensitive skin. It contains every ingredient nature makes for soothing sore skin. It has a blend off oat milk, lavender and chamomile, which work wonders on dry, troubled and sensitive skin! :-)

♥ LUSH Cosmetics Dream Cream Body Lotion.

The Dream Cream Body Lotion has been my go-to body moisturizer for a couple off months now. It has a nice, rich and thin consistency, which doesn't feel heavy or look greasy on the skin. A little goes a long way with this body lotion, so I recommend starting with a little, then go back and apply more if you feel like you need it.

I absolutely love the scent off this cream, it's quite relaxing and delightful. It's a little strong though, so keep that in mind if you are thinking about ordering it online.

It stays nice and hydrated throughout the day. Once I have used up this tub, I will definitely be picking up a new one! :-)
