PRODUCTS I'VE USED UP: JUNE & JULY 2014

I haven't done an empties post in so long, so I figured I would do one today and show you some off the products that I have used up during the month off June and July. I have been accumulating a lot off empty products over the last couple off months. They have just been lying around in my empties bag collecting dust, so I'm super excited to finally be able to throw everything out, lol.

So without further ado, here is my long overdue empties post! :-)

♥ Matrix Biolage Colorcaretherapie Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner, HERE

I received the Matrix Biolage Colorcaretherapie Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner a while back in one off my Glossyboxes. The Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner is specially formulated to preserve the longevity and radiance of color-treated hair. You don't have to have color-treated hair to be able to use them, mine isn't color treated.

I like how my hair felt after I used both the shampoo and conditioner together. They made my hair feel very soft and smooth, and the color off my hair looked a bit brighter as well. Both the shampoo and conditioner are very gentle on the hair. They didn't leave my hair feeling dry and it felt nice and clean afterwards. They both have a really good scent to them, which is another bonus about these!

Some hair products are quite expensive, so I love being able to try out samples before I commit to buying them. I have bought so many full sized products in the past, which I didn't end up linking. Such a waste off money if you ask me! :-)

 ♥ L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover, HERE

I have gone through quite a few bottles off the L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover during the past couple off months. I only kept four bottles for the sake off this post though, but I have probably used up around 8 or 9 off them.

The L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover removes regular and waterproof eye and lip makeup quite nicely. It doesn't feel too greasy on the skin and it doesn't dry out my under eye area either. This used to be a huge favorite off mine, until I discovered the Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover. You can read more about it down below! :-)

♥ Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover, HERE

The Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover is a new favorite off mine. I have only been using it for a couple off months now, but I can already tell that I will be sticking to it for a while. It removes regular and waterproof makeup like a charm. It doesn't feel greasy on the skin, which I really like. Nothing worse than feeling and looking like a total grease ball, lol.

The bottle cap can be removed, which is another great thing about this product. It makes it so easy to get every single drop off product out off the bottle. I love taking it with me when I travel. I just pour some off the product into a little travel bottle and I'm good to go. It definitely saves you a lot off space in your toiletry bag! :-)

♥ EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine, HERE

I have been a fan off the EOS Shaving Creams for a couple off years now, I just think that they are awesome! I have been using Lavender Jasmine for a couple off months now. I like how easy it is to apply. My legs feels so nice, soft and smooth afterwards and it also has a nice scent to it as well.

The EOS Shaving Creams all come with a pump, which is so convenient and very useful for when you are in the shower or on the go. I really like Lavender Jasmine, but I don't think that I will be buying it again anytime soon. I recently tried out the EOS Shave Cream in Pomegranate Raspberry and I love that one more, it smells absolutely divine! EOS also makes a sensitive shave cream, which is fragrance free. You can find that one HERE! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, HERE

The Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion is a big favorite amongst beauty bloggers and vloggers on YouTube. It's been a favorite off mine for years now. I remember getting it when I ordered the Original Naked Palette by Urban Decay, that was when the palette was released. I was hooked on it after the first couple off times using it.

It's easy to apply and it blends nicely on the eyelids. It makes the eyeshadow look a bit more vibrant and also make it last a bit longer on the eyes as well. I already have a backup off this in my makeup collection, but I don't think that I will be buying another one anytime soon. I have found another eyeshadow primer that I like more and it's the Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer. It's the bomb.com, probably the best eyeshadow primer that I've tried so far! :-)

♥ Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes, HERE

I have talked about the Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes in many off my previous empties posts. I have been using these for a couple off years now and I really like them. They remove makeup very well, without stinging or irritating my sensitive skin. They are very moist and they feel super soft on the skin. I like to store them upside down, just to prevent them from drying out.

As you can see by looking at the photo, I have used up a bunch off these wipes. I really enjoy them, so I will definitely keep using them until I find something else that work better for me. What make-up remover wipes are you currently using? Any favorites? :-)

What product(s) did you finish during the month off June and July? See anything here that you would like to try out for yourself? :-) Love, Christine♥

Products I've Used Up: July & August 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you guys doing today? I hope you all are having a wonderful day. I have a new empties post to share with you. I know this post is very late, but better late then never, right? I managed to use up some products over the last couple off months. They have been laying around for such a long time now, so I thought it was time for me to finally do this post and share the items with you. I can't wait to finally throw everything out now, LOL!

I hope you enjoy this empties post! Let me know in the comments down below if you have tried out any of the products below, and which items you managed to use up during July and August :-)

L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover Waterproof:
L'Oreal Paris's Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover Waterproof has been my go-to makeup remover for a long time now. I think that it does a great job removing my makeup, both regular and waterproof. This is definitely a product I'm going to stick with, until I find a new favorite :-)

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel For Body and Hair:
I'm a huge fan off Lush and their yummy smelling products, and Snow Fairy is a great product to have in your shower. It's got a very fruity and sweet candy scent, which I really enjoy. It can be used as a body wash and even on your hair. I personally prefer to use it as a body wash, just because I find it to be a little drying on my hair. It does have a lot off blue glitter in it, but it didn't show up on my skin at all. Snow Fairy is definitely a product I would buy again. I think I'm going to pick up a bigger bottle if it comes back around Christmas time :-)

Paris Hilton Fairy Dust Perfume:
This used to be one of my favorite perfumes a couple off years ago. It's got a very strong scent, so a little goes a long way with this one. Some of the notes in Fairy Dust is pink peony, orange blossom, musk and vanilla cream. Since I really don't care for the scent anymore, I won't be repurchasing it :-)

Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara in Black:
After hearing so many wonderful things about the Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara, I finally caved in and bought it for myself. I really do like this mascara a lot. It gives my lashes some nice volume and lenght, and it does a good job separating them as well. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent though, but I have gotten pretty used to it by now. This is definitely a mascara I would buy again :-)

Redken Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have been loving the Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner by Redken. This is a line that is created for people with color treated hair. I don't have color treated hair, but I can still use them on my hair. I love how soft they make my hair feel, and the color of my natural hair actually looks more vibrant afterwards. The scent is one of the reasons why I love these products so much. The scent lingers in my hair throughout the entire day, which I absolutely love. I'm such a sucker for good smelling products! :-)

I don't think that I will repurchase them anytime soon, just because I have a a few other shampoo's and conditioners that I want to try out and use up. They are also more suited for my hair type. If you have color treated hair, I highly recommend that you check these out :-)

Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Make-Up Removing Wipes:
I really like these cleansing and make-up removing wipes from Korres. They remove makeup very well, and they leave my skin feeling fresh and clean afterwards. They didn't break out my skin, which I'm very thankful for since I ended up loving these. They have a very refreshing scent, which I really like. Definitely a product I would repurchase :-)

Garnier Skin Naturals Nordic Essentials Ultra Cleansing Wipes:
I have been using these cleansing wipes by Garnier for a few months now, and I really like them. They remove regular and waterproof makeup very well. They are very moisturizing, they leave a clean feeling on the skin afterwards and they have a nice and fresh scent. These have already replaced my beloved Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes, that's how much I love them. This is definitely a product I will keep buying :-)

Do you have any product recommendations? Which products did you use up in July and August? :-) Love, Christine♥

Tag: Colors Of The Rainbow

 Hey Everyone :-)
I just came across the ''Colors Of The Rainbow'' tag through Ingrid (missglamorazzi) and Elle (allthatglitters21) on YouTube. I had a lot of fun watching their awesome videos, and I thought it would be fun to do the tag as well.

Let me know if you like this post, and if you have tried out any of the products I'm talking about. If you have done this tag, please leave your link in the comments down below so I can check it out :-)

Colors Of The Rainbow:
♥ Red♥ Orange♥ Yellow♥ Green♥ Blue♥Indigo♥Violet♥Pink♥Multicolored.

Redken Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have been using the Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner from Redken for a while now, and I really like them. These are for people with color-treated hair (which I don't have), but you can still use them on your hair. My hair color looks more vibrant, shiny and it feels a lot softer since I started using these. They smell amazing as well, which is always a huge plus for me :-)

 Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara:
The Covergirl LashBlast Volume Mascara is my favorite mascara at the moment. I really like that it gives my lashes some nice volume, and lenght as well. It doesn't look clumpy or flaky on my lashes, which makes my love this product even more. The packaging is very simple, but still cute in my opinion. I use this mascara almost every single day, and I highly recommend that you check it out :-)

H&M Nail Polish in Going Bananas:
Going Bananas is a pretty pastel yellow nail polish with shimmer. I'm a big fan of these nail polishes from H&M. I think that they are great, they are super affordable and they have a great selection of colors available in stores and online. The packaging is really cute, and I like that the name of the nail polish is on top of the cap. Going Bananas is a beautiful shade for spring and summer, and I can't wait to wear it :-)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes:
These have been my go-to cleansing facial wipes for removing any makeup on my face. I think that they remove makeup very well, they feel nice on my skin and they are very moisturizing as well. They have a very refreshing scent, which I really like :-)

L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover Waterproof:
I'm a big fan of this Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover from L'Oreal Paris. I think that it removes my eye makeup very well, both regular and waterproof makeup. It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, which is a huge plus for me. If you are looking for a good and affordable makeup remover for your eyes, definitely check this one out :-)

EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine:
I just can't get enough of this shaving cream from EOS, I love it. It's packed with natural conditioning oils, shea butter and antioxidant vitamins E and C to provide 24 hours of ultra-soothing moisture. It's so moisturizing, and it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I highly recommend that you check it out, it's an amazing shaving cream. I only have a few more uses left, so I need to pick up another bottle soon :-)

EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet:
I'm obsessed with the Smooth Sphere Lip Balms from EOS, and Strawberry Sorbet is one of my favorites scents. It's very moisturizing and it leaves my lips soft and smooth for hours, without feeling greasy or sticky. This is definitely a must have product for me :-)

MAC Cosmetics Eyeshadows:
For the multicolored part of this tag, I decided to go with my eyeshadows from MAC Cosmetics. I recently depotted my MAC eyeshadows (you can check out my tutorial here), and now I store them in this pink palette from Z.palette. As you probably can tell by looking at my collection of MAC eyeshadows, I love my neutrals but I do have a few colors that I like as well. I have been loving Brule lateley, it's just the perfect highlight/all over the lid shade.

I don't regret depotting my MAC eyeshadows, because now I have them all in one place. Let me know if you want me to do a blog post and show you swatches of the MAC eyeshadows that I have in my collection. If that is something you would like to see, I would be more than happy to do so :-)

Have you done this tag? What tag do you want to see next? :-) Love, Christine♥

Products I've Used Up: April 2013

Hey everyone :-)
It's been a while since my last empties post, so I figured it was time for me to share the products I managed to use up during the month of April. I didn't use up a lot of products and I know I'm a little late on this post, but I still wanted share them with you guys. Better late than never, right? :-)

If you have done an April empties post, please leave the link in the comments down below. I would love to check it out, and see what products you managed to use up :-)

L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Waterproof Make-Up Remover:
The Eye & Lip Waterproof Make-Up Remover from L'Oreal Paris, has been my go-to makeup remover for months now. It does a great job removing my makeup, and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I don't wear waterproof makeup that often but when I do, this removes it without any problems.

If you are looking for a new and affordable makeup remover, I highly recommend that you check this one out. This is definitely a product I'm going to keep buying, until I find something else that I like better :-)

Korres Showergel in Japanese Rose:
I piched up the Japanese Rose showergel a while ago. It came in a set which also included a body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. It's a very nice showergel. It foams up nicely and it's got a very good scent, which lingers on my skin for a while after I have used it. It doesn't dry or irritate my skin, which I really like because my skin is sensitive.

I don't think I will be repurchasing this product anytime soon, just because I have a bunch of different showergels that I want to use up. Once I'm finished with those, I might pick up a another bottle of the Korres Japanese Rose Showergel :-)

Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Pads:
I saw these in store a while ago, and decided that I wanted to try them out. They remove makeup very well, both regular and waterproof and the size of the pads are quite small and handy. They don't irritate my sensitive skin, which is always a huge plus for me. I don't think that I will be buying these again, unless I'm going traveling. They are actually quite expensive here, so I'm just going to stick to my Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes :-)

Simple Kind To Eyes Cleansing Facial Wipes:
These have been my favorite facial cleansing wipes for a long time now. They are very moisturizing, and they do a great job with removing any makeup on my face. They also have a very nice and fresh scent, which I find very refreshing. This is definitely a product I will keep repurchasing until I find something else that I like better :-)

Have you tried out any of these products? Did you manage to use up any products during the month of April? :-) Love, Christine♥

Products I've Used Up: February 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
I'm back with a brand new empties post for you. I managed to use up a few products during the month of February, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share them with you guys. I like to keep all of the items I use up in my Sephora bag. It's just a nice way for me to keep track of everything, without leaving anything out. But I do have to admit that I always look forward to throwing everything out by the end of the month, ha ha. Let's move on to the products I have used up :-)

Sunsilk Minerals Mineral Hair Cure:
I bought this product a long time ago, and I finally managed to use it all up. This product is supposed to make your hair look more healthy, strong and shiny. It does make my hair very soft and shiny, and it also has a very nice smell, which I really like and appreciate. I'm currently trying out the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, so I'm going to give that one a try first and see how I like it. So I won't be picking up this product anytime soon :-)

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream:
I have been using this hand cream by Soap & Glory for a while now, and I really like it. My hands get extra dry during the winter, so I always need to have a good hand cream in my handbag. This hand cream makes my hands super soft, and it keeps them nicely moisturized for a while. It soaks quickly into the skin and it's got a nice scent, but I do find it to be just a little bit greasy. I might pick up another one of these small tubes, because they are so handy and nice for me to keep in my handbag :-)

Bioderma Crealine H2O Micelle Solution:
I have used up my very first bottle of the Bioderma makeup remover, and I really like it. I like using this to remove my eye makeup, and it works great. I don't think it's the best one for waterproof makeup, but since I hardly wear any, that doesn't bother me. I will definitely be picking up a bigger bottle of this very soon :-)

Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Natural Glow Facial Towelettes:
I have been loving these facial towelettes from Yes To Cucumbers. I only use them to remove my face makeup, and I'm very pleased with them. These are very moisturizing and nice on my skin. The moisture absorbs quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy feeling behind.
The packaging is another thing I really like about these. It comes with a lid which keeps the facial towelettes nice and moisturized, so you don't have to worry about them drying out on you. I definitely want to pick up another package of these facial towelettes. They have been so hard to find lately, because they have been ''out of stock'' on almost every website that offers international shipping :-)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes:
I have featured these cleansing facial wipes in several of my monthly favorites and empties posts, and they still remain my favorite. I use these to remove my face and my eye makeup, and I think they wonderful. You don't have to worry about them drying out on you (just be sure to close the lid properly), because they stay nice and moisturized in the package. I like to keep mine upside down, because that makes all the moisture run down and keep all of the wipes nice and moisturized. They have a very clean and fresh scent, which I really like and find very refreshing. I will definitely keep buying these, until I find something that I like better :-)

Did you manage to use up any skin care or makeup products during the month of February? :-)
Love, Christine♥

Products I've Used Up: January 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
Today, I have a brand new empties post to share with you. I managed to use up quite a few products in January, and I'm so excited to finally be able to share them with you guys. I love doing these posts, because I think they are so fun to do. They really motivate me to use up my products, especially my skin care and body products :-)

Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser:
I started using this lovely product from Dermalogica about two years ago, and I really like it. It comes out like a clear gel, which doesn't foam up when it comes in contact with water. I just wash my face with warm water, I apply a small amount of the cleanser and then I gently work it into my skin. My skin feel so soft and fresh afterwards and I really like that you only need to use a small amount of product. I always prefer to invest in a bigger bottle, because it's going to last me for a long time. This is definitely a product I will repurchase :-)

L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover Waterproof:
Every time  I wear waterproof mascara, this is the product I use to remove it. I just pour a little bit of the makeup remover onto a cotton pad, and hold it over my eyes for about a minute or two. I think it does a good job removing my eye makeup, and it doesn't feel greasy either. On days that I'm wearing just a regular mascara (not waterproof), I prefer to use Bioderma.

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer:
This has been one of my favorite concealers for the entire year of 2012. I think that it does a good job covering up any redness, darkness under the eyes and other imperfections on the face. I use this concealer all over my face, as well as under my eyes. I don't have too much to cover up, so this concealer works great for me. This is definitely a product I will buy again :-)

The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Shower Gel:
I really like how good this product smells, and that the scent stays on my skin for a while. But it dries out my skin completely, and makes it itch and look irritated. My skin gets extra dry in the winter, so I prefer to stay away from products that will make it worse. I haven't found one shower gel from The Body Shop that doesn't irritate my skin. I really wanted to like this product, sadly I won't be buying this product again :-)

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil:
This is serious one of the most delicious products that I have tried, and it has quickly become on of my all time favorite products to use in the shower. It foams up nicely, and it makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. One of the reasons why this product is such a big favorite of mine, is because of how it smells. The smell is truly amazing, and it stays on my skin throughout the day. Even Simon love this product and how it smells. It's definitely a product I will buy again :-)

The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel:
Another shower gel from The Body Shop that I don't like. I love how good this product smells, but I don't like that it dries out my skin and makes it itch and look irritated. Since my skin gets extra dry in the winter, I prefer to stay away from products that are going to make it worse. I have been using this as my hand wash instead, and it's great for that. I won't be buying this product again :-)

Did you manage to use up any of your products for the month of January? :-) Xoxo, Christine♥
