Best Of Beauty 2012: Skin Care & Body Products

Hey Beauties :-)
This is my third and final post in my ''Best Of Beauty 2012'' series. This post is going to be all about my favorite skin care and body products. I really hope that you have enjoyed reading these posts, because I sure had a lot of fun writing them :-)

Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Natural Glow Facial Towelettes:
This product is a big favorite of mine. I really like how the moisture from the facial towelettes quickly absorb into my skin, without leaving a sticky or greasy feeling behind. I think they are great for removing makeup, and I really like the fresh and clean scent that they have, I find it to be very refreshing :-)

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes:
These have been my go-to eye makeup remover wipes for months now, and I absolutely love them. After I have used the Bioderma cleanser, I go over my eye area with the Simple cleansing wipes, and remove any leftover makeup that the Bioderma cleanser didn't remove. These remove my makeup without any trouble, which I really like. They stay nicely moisturized in the package, so you don't have to worry about them drying out :-)

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil:
This is seriously one of the best shower oils that I have tried, and it has quickly become a huge favorite of mine. I really like how nicely it foams up, and it makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. It smells amazing, and the scent stay on my skin throughout the day. I need to order myself another bottle, because this one is almost empty :-)

Bioderma Crealine H2o Face and Eyes Cleanser:
After hearing a lot of great things about this Crealine H2o Ultra-mild Non-rinse Face and Eyes Cleanser by Bioderma, I decided to pick up a bottle and try it out. I really like this product a lot, and I think it does a very good job removing my makeup. I don't think it's the best for removing waterproof mascara but since I hardly wear any waterproof mascara, this works perfect for me :-)

Sterilan Fresh & Fruity Expert Protection Deodorant:
I haven't tried too many deodorants, but I do have a favorite one to share with you. I picked this up a while ago, and I like it a lot. It has a very fresh, fruity and floral scent, which feels very refreshing and nice :-)

Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser:
I started using the ultracalming cleanser from Dermalogica about two years ago, and I like it a lot and I'm still sticking to it. It comes out like a clear gel, which doesn't foam up when it comes in contact with water. I just wash my face with warm water, I apply a small amount of the cleanser and then I gently work it into my skin. My skin feel so soft and fresh afterwards, I LOVE it. I just finished this bottle, so I need to pick up another bottle :-)

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance:
I have been using this moisturizer for over a year now, and I absolutely love it. My skin gets extra dry when it's cold outside, and this help keep it nice and moisturized throughout the day. I really like that it doesn't feel greasy on my skin, that's definitely something I look for in a good moisturizer. I just can't stand that sticky/greasy feeling :-)

EOS Complete Care Hand and Body Lotion:
I just can't get enough of this hand and body lotion from EOS. I love how fast it absorbs into my skin, and it doesn't leave a greasy feeling behind. It has a coconut scent, which reminds me of summer. I really like that I can use this as a body lotion, and a hand cream :-)

EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Lavender Jasmine:
I have been using this wonderful shaving cream by EOS for months now, and I can't get enough of it. I really like that it makes my skin silky smooth, and it leaves a soft lavender scent behind on my skin. I just love this product, it's the best shaving cream that I have tried :-)

What do you think about my favorites? Have you tried out any of these products? What was your favorite skin and body product of 2012? :-) Xoxo, Christine♥

Best Of Beauty 2012: Hair Products

Hey Beauties :-)
I have another Best Of Beauty post for you guys tonight, and this post is going to be all about my favorite hair products of 2012. I don't have too many products in this category, but I still wanted to do a post and share them with you guys. Let's get this post started :-)

L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray:
The Elnett Satin Hairspray by L'Oreal Paris is hands down the best hairspray that I have tried. I love how it leaves my hair feeling super soft, and not crunchy and stiff like most hairsprays do. I use this product right after I have curled my hair, and I just love how it holds my curls in place thoughout the day. L'Oreal Paris also makes this product without the scent, which is great if you don't like how this one smells, or if you just prefer your hairsprays to be scent free :-)

Syoss Professional Performance Heat-Protect Styling-Spray:
I love to curl and straighten my hair, that's why I always make sure to apply a heat protecting spray before I use any hot tools on my hair. I like this particular one from Syoss, because it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky or stiff. I'm not the biggest fan of the smell though, but I have gotten used to it. I'm currently looking for a new one to try out, so if you have any recommendations, please leave them in the comments down below :-)

Redken Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have been using the Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner from Redken for months now, and I really like them. They are actually made for people with colored hair, but you can still use them if your hair isn't colored. My hair feels incredible soft, smooth and it looks very shiny. It looks a lot more healthy after I started using these products :-)

Tangle Teezer:
After hearing so many people rave about the very popular Tangle Teezer, I finally caved in and bought one for myself. I really like how it just glides though my hair, without pulling or yanking it. I haven't had a lot of big tangles in my hair after I started using this product. The Tangle Teezer comes in many different shapes, patterns and colors. I love my pink one, but I'm seriously thinking about getting another one with a cute pattern as well. Hm, maybe a cute leopard printed one? Yes, please :-)

Le Angelique 18-25 Professional Ceramic Clip-less Curling Iron:
I love to curl my hair, and the Professional Ceramic Clip-less Curling Iron from Le Angelique is my favorite. It heats up quickly and it creates natural looking curls. I bought mine on eBay, but you can also find it at the Le Angelique website. I have had this curling iron for years now, and it's still going strong :-)

What do you think about my favorites? Have you tried out any of these products? Which hair product was your favorite of 2012? Xoxo, Christine♥

Best Of Beauty 2012: Makeup Products

Hey Beauties :-)
After seeing quite a few bloggers and YouTube gurus talk about their favorite beauty products of 2012, I thought I would do a post and share my most adored items of the past year. I know it's a little late, but better late then never, right? I'm also planning on doing a skin care and hair products post as well, so definitely stay tuned for that if your interested. Now, let's move on to my favorite makeup products of 2012 :-)

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in N115:
I'm in love with this foundation by Make Up For Ever. I picked it up at the Sephora store in Paris, after I got my makeup done by one of the very talented makeup artists at the Make Up For Ever counter. She used this foundation on me, and I just fell in love with how it looked on my skin. It feels very smooth and soft on my skin. It's very easy to blend, the coverage is wonderful, it sets into the skin quickly and it looks great in photos. The Make Up For Ever HD Foundation is my favorite high end foundation at the moment :-)

Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream:
On days that I don't have much time to do my makeup (or I'm feeling extra lazy), I love to wear my Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream by Maybelline New York. It's very easy to apply, and it blends nicely into the skin. I love how it makes my skin look fresh, glowy and a lot smoother. It doesn't feel greasy but It's a little sticky at first, until it settles into the skin. If you are looking for something that is going to give you a lot of coverage, I don't think your going to like this product. You can always go back and apply another layer, and that is going to give you a little more coverage. The Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream is definitely one of the better BB creams that I have tried out :-)

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer:
The NYX HD Photogenic Concealer has been my favorite concealer of 2012. I really like how nicely it covers up my undereye circles and imperfections. I don't have too many imperfections to cover up, so this concealer works perfect for me. I also love how it brightens up my face and makes me look more awake, thank god for this early morning lifesaver :-)

Urban Decay All Nighter Long - Lasting Setting Spray:
I love, love, LOVE this Long - Lasting Setting Spray by Urban Decay. I start by shaking the bottle, then making sure that I'm holding it about  8''-10'' away from my face, then I mist my face 4-5 times. I love how it keeps my makeup looking fresh throughout the entire day :-)

NYX Powder Blush in Natural:
Natural has been my go-to blush for the past year. On days that I don't know what blush to use, Natural is the one I reach for. It's such a beautiful light pink blush, which gives my cheeks a little bit of color. This is the perfect blush if you have a fair/light skin tone. It won't show up on your skin, if you have a darker skin tone.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle:
Soft and Gentle is my favorite highlighter in my entire makeup collection! It's a beautiful peachy highlighter with a high-frost metallic finish. Soft and Gentle looks very natural on the skin, it gives you the perfect amount of glow, and it also looks beautiful on all skin tones. I'm in love with this highlighter, it's definitely a product worth splurging on :-)

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion:
The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion is my favorite, and I use it everyday. It makes the eyeshadow go on a lot smoother, and it prevents it from creasing or fading away throughout the day. It also has a little bit of coverage as well, which is great if you have some blue veins on your eyelids that you want to cover up. It's such a lovely product, which has been part of my makeup collection for years now. I love it :-)

Benefit They're Real Mascara:
This has been my go-to mascara since I picked it up at Sephora in Paris. I haven't used another mascara since I bought this one, that's how much I love it. I really like how it makes my lashes look a lot longer and a little thicker as well, without making them look clumpy. This is definitely a product I will purchase again :-)

e.l.f. Eyebrow Treat & Tame:
I have been using this Eyebrow Treat & Tame by e.l.f. for a while now, and I like it a lot. I like how nicely it fills in my brows, making them look very natural. I feel extremely naked and a little uncomfortable without my brows, so this is a must have product in my makeup bag :-)

LORAC PRO Eyeshadow Palette:
The Lorac PRO Palette has quickly become one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, and I have been using it like crazy since I bought it. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, smooth and easy to blend. I love the wonderful selection of both matte and shimmery shades, definitely a eyeshadow palette worth checking out if you are a big fan of neutral eyeshadows :)

MUA Makeup Academy Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed:
Another big favorite of mine is the MUA Makeup Academy Eyeshadow Palette in Undressed. This palette doesn't have as many matte eyeshadows as the LORAC PRO Palette, but it's is a great alternative to the Original NAKED palette by Urban Decay. If you have been wanting to try out the Original NAKED palette, but your not sure if you want to spend £36.00, you should check out the Undressed palette. It's a wonderful alternative, and it's only £4.00 :-)

EOS Lipbalm in Strawberry Sorbet:
I'm obsessed with the lip balms by EOS, especially Strawberry Sorbet. I love how it keeps my lips nicely moisturized, smooth and soft thoughout the day. Without a good lip balm, my lips get super dry and chapped, which can be painful at times. That's why I never leave our apartment without making sure that I have at least one lip balm in my handbag :-)

Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie:
I'm a huge fan of the Revlon Lip Butters, and Berry Smoothie is probably my favorite shade in their entire range. Berry Smoothie is a beautiful berry shade with golden shimmer. I love how moisturizing, smooth and pigmented the lip butters are, makes me want to pick up more shades :-)
