Guest Post: ELF Regular Line Tinted Moisturiser [Review w/ Swatches!!]

Hello guys,
I have been repurchasing this product on and on... so clearly I adore it. I have noticed that ELF changed the cardboard packaging and formula too :) The new formula is sheerer, more forgiving when it comes to shade, and has a different shade than the older version.

PACKAGING



This comes in a small squeezy tube, I have never had an issue with the packaging.

TEXTURE
Very smooth water based formula. Lightweight and non sticky

COVERAGE
From a 1-10 .. I would give this a 3 in terms of coverage, rather than coverage, it kind of boosts your complexion a bit.

SHADES



I have this in HONEY and SPICE. The one I constantly repurchase is honey, and I have noted that there is a difference between the old formula and new formula.
Old Honey shade: a light to medium warm shade with some orange undertone to it.
New Honey shade: a light beige shade with yellow undertones
New Spice shade [which I bought for summer]: a medium beige with neutral undertones.

PRICE
For $1 or £1.50 you get a sample size tinted moisturiser, which for me lasts a month or maximum 6 weeks.

BLENDABILITY

This is quite easy to blend and apply with the ELF studio powder brush

FINISH
This feels so soothing and fresh on the face which makes it perfect for summer.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I don't recommend using this with flash photography due to SPF15 in the formula. I have used it, it makes me look like a ghost.

BOTTOM LINE
This is an awesome product for this summer. I repurchased multiple times, and I will continue to repurchase. I definitely recommend. On a side note – I know 2 people who got a bad reaction to this so make sure to test it out behind your ear first :)

Versace for H&M Fall 2011

Versace is the new guest designer for H&M, the new collection is going to be available November 17th. The woman collection is dominated by leather dresses and studs, silk and colorful prints and accessories like high heels.The collection for men is focusing on sharp cuts, accessories such as jewelry. I cant wait to see how this collection will look when its ready, it sounds pretty amazing :)

Cotton Candy & Pink Metal

I was looking through my makeup collection and i found these two beautiful single eyeshadows that i haven't used for a long time. Since i haven't mentioned these on my blog before, i thought i would show you the swatches. These are by the Swedish makeup brand called Make Up Store. I bought them a while ago when i was visiting their store in Sweden. I fell in love with all the pretty colors and i wanted to buy all of them, but i ended up with these two which im very pleased with. Their eyeshadows are very pigmented and beautiful on the eyes and their range of colors is huge. Their products are allergy-friendly and they dont test on animals :)

Review: Zoya Nail Polish Remover

About the product:

My opinion:
I read a lot of great reviews on this product on different makeup sites and a lot of people said that this worked perfect on removing glitter nail polishes, that was the whole reason why i wanted it. Before i started using this, I used to use one by H&M. I always had to rub really hard to take of the glitter nail polishes which became quite painful after a while, so i was pretty disapointed with that one.

This does a really good job removing regular nail polish and also glitter nail polishes which im super happy about. This has a good smell compared to the other nail polish removers that i have tried and it dont give me a massive headache either. As you can see im almost out, so i need to order a new one. Now I can finally use my OPI Burlesque polishes, so you can expect to see some nail posts soon featuring the Burlesque colors i have in my collection :)


I really love that this has a flipper, it makes removing the nail polish much easier and not as messy as it used to be. The bottle with the flipper cost a little more than the regular one, but you only need to buy it once and then just refill the bottle when you need to, its pretty fantastic if you ask me :) You can buy Zoya nail polish removers here

The Lipbalm & The Makeup Bag

♥ The Hello Kitty lipbalms are some of my favorites. They always have the best smell, they leave your lips feeling very moistuised and the packaging is super adorable too. I always carry a few lipbalms in my handbag because i hate the feeling of dry lips and they are just nice to have just in case you need them. I have to say that im pretty addicted to lipbalms haha, cant get enough of them :)


♥ I really like that this makeup bag has a zebra inspired print but its clear at the same time. Since this is a big bag, it can hold a lot of stuff which is great if you like taking a lot of products with you (which I always do, i actually take too much with me haha). I will probably use this for my skin care products: This actually holds my Sigma Beauty cleansing and polishing tool which is pretty amazing considering that the box it comes in is pretty big. My opinion:
This is one of my top favorite products by Elf Cosmetics. This translucent HD powder is from their Studio line and its only $6. I bought this product in January and i have been using it everyday since and now i really need to buy a new one because im almost out.

This product has lasted me a long time and im just very impressed by this product. I really like how this makes my skin look. Flawless, natural and glowy, just the way i like it. Since this is a HD powder, it will also make your skin look better in pictures. This powder does a really good job setting my makeup and i feel that it helps my makeup stay in place and keep it from running when its really hot outside.

I think that this product is worth the $6 you pay for it and it will last you for a very long time. Like i said, i have had this since January and i still have some product left in the container. I have also heard that this is a great dupe for the HD Microfinish Powder by Make Up For Ever. I can't tell you if thats true or not, since i haven't tried it out, but the HD Microfinish Powder is $30 which is very expensive compared to the HD powder by Elf Cosmetics. Its definitely worth checking out if you like good bargains :)
