MAC COSMETICS LIPSTICK COLLECTION

I have been seeing a lot of bloggers share their MAC Cosmetics lipstick collections, so I thought that I would show you my own little collection today. So without any further ado, let's take a look at my collection! :-)

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Lipstick Collection.

I'm a huge fan of MAC Cosmetics and there is no denying that I love their lipsticks. I have accumulated quite a few lipsticks from them over the past few years. Some were purchased by myself, while other were gifted to me by family members and friends.

I'm very happy with my collection so far, but there are a couple of shades here that I don't really care for. Snob, Viva Glam Gaga and Saint Germain are three shades that I'm not the biggest fan of. I just don't like how they look on my lips, feel like they are way too light for me too. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I bought them to be completely honest with you! :-)

The lipsticks that have made it into my favorites and most loved lipsticks from MAC Cosmetics are Diva, Taupe, Play Time and Fabby. They are all wonderful and I think that they suit most skin tones too. There are many lipsticks from MAC that I want to try out. Rebel is definitely next on my wishlist, it looks like the perfect lipstick for Autumn. What do you think? Have you added Rebel to your lipstick collection yet? :-)

What are your thoughts about the lipsticks from MAC Cosmetics? Are you a fan? What shades are you currently lusting over? What type of collection post do you want to see next? :-) Love, Christine♥

WISHLIST VOL.1: ESSIE, HOURGLASS, LORAC, MAKEUP REVOLUTION & THE EVIL WITHIN

Wishlists are some of my favorite blog posts to read, because I think that they are so much fun and they always give me ideas on new beauty products to try out, as well as other fun, non beauty related items.

I thought that it would be fun to start a wishlist series on my blog, where I show you some of the items that I'm currently lusting over. Everything from makeup, clothes and accessories to books, movies and other random bits and bobs will be featured in these posts. I hope these posts will inspire you and maybe give you a few ideas on products to try out for yourself or even gift ideas for friends and family! :-)

♥ LORAC Mega Pro Palette - Photo Source, HERE.

I'm a huge fan of the Pro eyeshadow palettes from LORAC! I think LORAC makes some of the best quality eyeshadows on the beauty market. They are so smooth and soft and they are very pigmented and easy to work with as well.

The Mega Pro palette is a brand new eyeshadow palette from LORAC, which is due to release in October just in time for the holidays. There are 32 eyeshadows in this palette, 16 matte and 16 shimmery shades. I don't think that there are any eyeshadows from the original Pro or Pro 2 palette in the Mega Pro palette, only new shades. But don't quote me on that, because I'm not completely sure about it since there isn't a lot of information about this palette yet. I'm beyond excited to get my hands on this palette. Will you be adding this to your wishlist? :-)

♥ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - Photo Source, HERE.

Ever since I got my hands on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radient Magenta, I have been wanting to try out their Ambient Lighting palette. The Ambient Lighting palette is a palette that features three shades of Ambient Lighting powders, the high-tech, soft-focus finishing powder that recreates the most exquisitely flattering types of light.

I have heard nothing but great things about this palette, so I might have to splurge on it the next time I place an order at Sephora. How gorgeous is the packaging? I absolutely love it! :-)

♥ Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts - Photo Source, HERE.

Makeup Revolution have been killing it on the beauty front lately. They have been coming out with a lot of cool products lately and it seems like they are planning on releasing some new and fun items soon! :-)

There are many things that I want to try out from Makeup Revolution, but their entire Blushing Hearts range has been on top of my wishlist ever since I saw them on their website. They remind me a lot of the Too Faced Sweethearts blushes, expect that they are way more affordable. They all look gorgeous but my favorites are definitely Blushing Heart Blusher, Candy Queen of Hearts Blusher and the Goddess of Love Highlighter

♥ Essie Fall 2014 Collection - Photo Source, HERE.

Essie is and will always be one of my favorite nail polish brands. The quality and the formula of their nail polishes are really good. I haven't had a lot of bad experiences with Essie, which is the reason why I love them so much.

The collection that I'm currently lusting over is their new Fall collection called Dress To Kilt. Each and every single nail polish in this collection is gorgeous. What do you think? Do you like the colors in this collection? :-)

♥ The Evil Within - Photo Source, HERE.

I love everything that has to do with scary movies and video games. The Evil Within is a new horror game that is coming out on October 14th. It looks exciting, intense and scary, just the way I like it! :-)

Are you a fan of horror movies and video games? If you are, do you have any movie/game recommendations? If you are curious about this game and you want to learn more about it, you can check out the website, HERE! :-)

What's on your wishlist at the moment? Are you a fan of horror movies and video games? :-) Love, Christine♥

NEW IN MY CLOSET VOL.6: CUBUS, GINA TRICOT & FOREVER 21

Now that Autumn is right around the corner, the clothing stores are filling up with lots of cute and cozy sweaters, scarfs, beanies, jackets, boots and lots of fun accessories. I recently picked up a couple of items from Cubus, Gina Tricot and Forever 21. I have had these items in my closet for a while now, but I thought it would be fun to share them with you guys anyway! :-)

♥ Sweater from Gina Tricot, HERE

 ♥ Jeans from Forever 21.

 ♥ Scarf from Cubus, HERE

 Sunglasses from Cubus.

♥ Bag from Cubus, HERE

I'm in love with this blue sweater from Gina Tricot. I saw one just like it last year, but I didn't pick it up. Of course I ended up going back to the store to look for it, but it had already sold out by then. Don't you just hate when that happens?

So when I saw this one at Gina Tricot a month ago, I didn't want to make the same mistake again. I decided to pick it up and I don't regret it for a second. I have been wearing it a lot since I got it. It's such a cute, very comfortable and stylish sweater and the color is adorable too. I love wearing it with a big scarf, some lovely jeans and a pair of cute boots. I might do an ''Outfit Of The Day'' post soon, showing you how I have been wearing this sweater lately. Would you be interested in seeing that? :-)

What do you think about the clothing pieces that I picked up? Would you wear any of these items? Are you looking forward to Autumn? What's your favorite thing about the upcoming season? :-) Love, Christine♥

FIVE MOST USED: BASE PRODUCTS

I have decided to start a new little series on my blog called Five Most Used. In these blog posts, I will be sharing my five most used beauty products in various categories. I was inspired by the lovely Jess from Just Jess to do this series on my blog. I'm so excited and I can't wait to start sharing some of my favorite and most used beauty products with you all! :-)

I thought I would start off this post with my five most used base products, since they are the first step in my makeup routine. I hope you enjoy this new series on my blog, be sure to let me know which category you would like to see next! :-)

♥ Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional, HERE.

The POREfessional from Benefit Cosmetics has been my go-to primer for a while now. It's very smooth and it feels very soft on the skin. It minimizes the appearance of pores and blurs out any imperfections on the skin. It also makes the foundation go on easier and look more smooth and even! :-)
♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 110 & 115, HERE

I have expressed my love for the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in quite a few blog posts, the Top 10 tag being the most recent one. It has been a big favorite of mine for a while now. I love how natural it looks on the skin, it doesn't feel heavy or make my skin look cakey. It's so easy to apply and it has a very nice and fresh finish on the skin.

Like I mentioned in my Top 10 tag post, I use both 110 and 115. 110 has a yellow undertone, but it's a bit light on it's own. 115 has more of a pink undertone, but it's slightly dark for my skin tone. So I like to mix and match these two shades together to create a more wearable color for myself. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the market for a new foundation! :-)

♥ Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Light, HERE

On days that I'm not in the mood to wear any foundation but still want to look somewhat decent and put together, the Dream Fresh BB Cream from Maybelline is my go-to product. It feels very lightweight on the skin, it looks very natural while giving the skin a nice and fresh look.

I have already gone though a couple tubes of this BB cream and I really like it. Are you a fan of BB creams? Which one is your favorite? :-)

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15, HERE.

I can't seem to get enough of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I have been sticking to this concealer for a couple of years now and it's always the one that I end up going back to. I just like how easy it is to apply and blend. It has a nice coverage and it doesn't crease too much under my eyes.

I always start by applying just a little bit of the concealer under my eyes, then I go back and apply more if I feel like I need it. By starting with applying just a little concealer, I'm preventing it from creasing and looking cakey under the eyes! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Powder in Translusent, HERE

The Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder has been a big favorite of mine ever since the wonderful Krystal from Beauty by Krystal sent it to me in a makeup swap that we did together a while ago.

I like using this powder to set my under eye concealer and to prevent it from moving around throughout the day. I sometimes like to use it to set my foundation in place, but I mostly just use it under my eyes. It's a very nice powder and it's quite affordable as well, which is always a big plus in my book! :-)

Have you tried out any of the products above? What do you think about them? What category in this new blog series would you like me to do next? :-) Love, Christine♥

TAG: TOP 10

I came across the Top 10 tag over at Cliona's blog called Cliona Hill, which was originally created by Jessica from Pretty Chit Chat. I wasn't tagged by the girls to do this, but I thought it would be fun to do it anyway since I'm a huge fan of fun tags like this one.

The Top 10 tag is all about the top 10 beauty products that you can't live without. So if you were going away and you could only take one item from each category with you, what products would you pick? This is where it gets interesting, lol. I have so many favorite products that I love and adore, so it's definitely not easy for me to choose just ten products. I finally managed to narrow it down to just ten products. These are all products that I have been a fan of for a while now, some are even favorites that I have been loving for a couple of years. Keep reading to find out what products I chose for my ''going away'' trip! :-)

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 110 & 115, HERE

1. Foundation:
There are lots of foundations that I really like and love to use, but my favorite one is hands down the Fit Me Foundation by Maybelline. I have talked about this foundation a lot in previous blog posts, like my monthly favorites.

The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is very easy to apply. It looks very natural on the skin and it doesn't feel heavy or look cakey. It has a lovely finish, which makes my skin look very nice and fresh. I use both 110 and 115. 110 has a yellow undertone and looks a bit too light on it's own, while 115 has a pink undertone but is a little on the darker side. I like to mix and match both of these shades together to create a more wearable shade for myself. It's not always easy being a pale ghost in the beauty world! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in Transparent, HERE

2. Powder:
I'm loving the Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder by Rimmel London. I have been using it almost every single day since the lovely Krystal from Beauty by Krystal sent it to me in a swap that we did together a while ago.

I mostly use the Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder to set and prevent my under eye concealer from moving around throughout the day. Sometimes, I like to use it on the rest of my face too, just to keep my foundation in place if it's a hot day. It's such a nice powder. It works great and it's really affordable as well! :-)

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15, HERE

3. Concealer:
Definitely the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. It's very easy to blend and it has a nice coverage as well. I love using it with the Fit Me foundation, because they work so well together. It doesn't crease too much under my eyes. I prefer to apply just a little concealer under my eyes, then go back and apply more if I feel like I need some more coverage. That way I won't apply too much product at once and it's going to prevent it from creasing and looking cakey.

This is my second tube of the Fit Me concealer. I don't have much left in the tube, so I need to get my hands on a new one soon! :-)

♥ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta, HERE

♥ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta, HERE

4. Blush:
I have been obsessed with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta for the past month. This blush is rather new to my makeup collection, but I have been using it almost every single day since I got it. It blends easily into the skin. It's got a bit of shimmer in it, which gives the cheeks a nice glow. You can build it up and make it more intense if you want to, or you can sheer it and make it look very natural on the cheeks.

I know that Hourglass isn't the cheapest brand out there, but this blush is so worth the money in my opionion. Everything about this blush is just beautiful. If you are thinking about splurging on an Ambient Lighting Blush from Hourglass, Radiant Magenta is a good choice! :-)

♥ The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01, HERE

♥ The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01, HERE

5. Bronzer:
I have been really into the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder by The Body Shop. It looks very natural on the skin. It's easy to apply and blend, has nice pigmentation, it's build able and it doesn't make you look orange like some bronzers do. After hearing so many lovely things about this bronzer, I just had to add it to my collection. It's the perfect bronzer for girls with a fair/light skin tone.

♥ MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, HERE

♥ MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, HERE

6. Highlighter:
I'm still sticking to my MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. It's been my favorite highlighter for the past couple of years now, it's also my most used highlighter in my entire makeup collection. I just love how it looks on the skin, very beautiful and glowy.

Soft and Gente isn't one of the the most affordable highlighters on the beauty market, but I think it's worth every penny. A little goes a long way with this one so it's going to last you a very long time, definitely a must have in my book! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara, HERE

7. Mascara:
The Rimmel London Lash Accelerator is my favorite mascara at the moment. I used to use it a couple of years ago, but didn't re-purchase it because I had a lot of other mascaras that I needed to use up first. I decided to pick it up again at Boots in London, because I remembered how much I used to love it. I'm so happy that I decided to pick it up again, because I have fallen in love with it all over again.

I love that it doesn't clump or make my lashes stick together. It gives my lashes nice length and volume and it's build able as well. I will definitely be picking up a couple of backups of this mascara soon! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette, HERE

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette, HERE

8. Eyeshadow:
Neutral eyeshadows have always been a weakness of mine when it comes to beauty products, because they are some of my favorite products to test and try out. I always find single eyeshadows or palettes that I want to try out, regardless if I have something similar to it in my collection already.

One of my favorite and most used palettes is the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. It's such a nice, every day kind of palette. The eyeshadows are soft and they feel quite smooth, they are nicely pigmented and easy to blend. I really want to get my hands on the Naked Basics 2 palette, it looks gorgeous. What do you think about it? Have you picked it up yet? It's available at Sephora, HERE! :-)

♥ Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow, HERE

9. Brows:
Definitely Gimme Brow by Benefit Cosmetics. It's been my go-to brow product for a month now and I couldn't be any more happier with it. I have never been good at filling in my brows with powder, so this has been a big game changer for my brows. It's really quick and easy to use and it makes the brows look very natural and pretty. I reviewed it a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't seen it yet, you can find it HERE! :-)

♥ Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry, HERE

10. Lip Product:
I'm not going to lie, I have become a little addicted to the Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry and it has quickly turned into a big favorite of mine. It feels nice on the lips without being greasy or sticky. I love applying it at night right before I go to bed, because it make my lips so smooth and soft when I wake up the next morning. I reviewed it a while ago. If you missed it,  you can find it HERE! :-)

Tag your it! I want to see your top 10 favorite products. If you have already done this tag, please leave the link to your post down below, because I would love to check it out! :-)

What do you think about the Top 10 Tag? Have you done it on your blog? Have you tried out any of the products above? :-) Love, Christine♥
