PRODUCT OF THE WEEK VOL.1: ISADORA PEEL OFF BASE

Today, I'm starting a new blog series called ''Product Of The Week''. In these weekly posts, I will be sharing a product that I have been loving a lot during that week. I will be posting my thoughts on the product and sharing some swatches with you guys as well.

The lovely Cliona from Cliona Hill inspired me do start doing these weekly posts, so thanks a lot girl. I really like this idea and I'm so excited to start sharing some of my favorite products with you guys. So let's take a look at the product that I'm loving this week, it's a good one! :-)

♥ IsaDora Peel Off Base, HERE

Let me introduce you to the IsaDora Peel Off Base. It's is a base coat that is easy to pull off. It's has a water based and solvent free formula, which creates a protective layer between the nail surface and the nail color. It protects and preserves the moisture balance of the nails. It doesn't remove the lipid film of the nails and it doesn't leaving them feeling dry afterwards either.

The IsaDora Peel Off Base works well with all kinds of nail polishes, not only glitters. It's very easy to use. You start by applying it all over your nails as a base coat, then you have to wait for it to dry before applying a nail polish on top of it. It usually takes about 5 minutes for it to dry. When it has dried, it will look transparent on the nails. Then you can go ahead and apply your favorite nail polish. When you want to remove it, you just peel it off starting from the base of your nails. Super easy! :-)

I have always been a huge fan of glitter nail polishes, but we all know how difficult they can be to remove. It's the reason why I don't wear them that often. I do use the foil method every once in a while whenever I'm wearing glitter on my nails. The foil method works great, but it takes a while to wrap up each nail in foil, wait for the nail polish remover to fully soak in and do it's magic and removed the foil from each finger.

The IsaDora Peel Off Base makes removing glitter nail polishes so much faster and easier. I will definitely be wearing glitter nail polishes more often from now on. In fact, I have a manicure in mind that I really want to try out. So keep your peepers open, because I might do a post on it very soon! :-)

NYX COSMETICS HONEY DEW ME UP PRIMER: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

The NYX Cosmetics Honey Dew Me Up Primer ($17.00 for 0.776 fl.oz./22 m.) is a lightweight primer infused with honey, gold flecks and collagen. It's formulated to neutralize the appearance of discoloration and redness, while providing moisture to the skin.It primes and preps the face for the application of makeup.

♥ NYX Cosmetics Honey Dew Me Up Primer.

It has many beneficial ingredients for the skin. A few of those lovely ingredients are Honey which is a natural antiseptic, collagen which strengthens the skin and the gold flecks which help increase skin radiance. The Honey Dew Me Up Primer also contain Hyaluronic Acid, which helps the skin to absorb and retain moisture. Portulaca which is anti-inflammatory and calming and Allantoin, which is very soothing and helps increase water absorption and smoothness to the skin.

It does contain alchohol though, but I didn't find it to be drying on my skin at all. I was a little afraid that it was going to dry out my skin completely, but the other moisturizing ingredients in this primer must be preventing it from doing that. Thank goodness! :-)

♥ NYX Cosmetics Honey Dew Me Up Primer.

The consistency of the Honey Dew Me Up Primer is very thick and quite gooey at first. But when I apply it onto my skin, the consistency changes and it feels like I'm soaking my face in water. I love it! It's a nice, cooling and very refreshing feeling.

It absorbs easily and quickly into the skin. It doesn't feel greasy at all, but it does have that sticky feeling which I'm not the biggest fan of. Be sure to allow the primer to fully sink into the skin for a couple of minutes before applying any makeup on top of it. The stickiness will then be completely gone and the skin feels very smooth and soft. It doesn't have a dewy finish like it claims to have, it just gives the skin a slight sheen, nothing too crazy.

♥ NYX Cosmetics Honey Dew Me Up Primer.

The Honey Dew Me Up Primer comes in a pretty little glass bottle with a rather large spatula inside for an easy application. It's very easy to use and the spatula gives you just the right amount of product. The primer has a light gold, almost clear color which contains pretty gold flecks. The gold flecks doesn't melt into the skin like the rest of the product, so sometimes I end up with a couple of them stuck on my face. I personally don't mind it, but I know some people might be put of by this.

♥ NYX Cosmetics Honey Dew Me Up Primer.

Overall, I really like the Honey Dew Me Up Primer from NYX Cosmetics. I have a lot of redness happening on my face, especially around my cheek area. I found this primer to be very calming and soothing on my skin. It makes my skin look more even and less red afterwards, which I really like. It also makes my foundation go on easier and a lot smoother too. It's a great primer for people with dry skin, because it feels nice and very hydrating on the skin. It has a very fresh, mild and clean scent, which isn't too overwhelming.

NYX Cosmetics is typically a very budget friendly brand, so I'm quite surprised by the high prize tag. It might not look like you are getting a lot of product for the price, but a little goes a long way with this primer. It's definitely going to last you a while! :-)

Who is ready for a brand new ''New In My Closet'' post? I recently picked up a couple of clothing items and I wanted to share them with you guys. I bought most of these items at the mall here in Norway, but there are a couple of pieces here that I picked up while I was in London on holiday.
Don't forget to let me know if you would like to see any of the items down below featured in a ''Outfit Of The Day'' post. I would be more than happy to put together a couple of looks for you! :-)

 ♥ Top from Forever 21.

♥ Top from Gina Tricot.

 ♥ Plaid Shirt from Vila.

♥ Denim Shorts from BikBok.

If you follow me on Instagram,Twitter or Facebook, you might have seen that I have been on a little organizing kick lately. I just finished organizing my makeup collection and now I'm moving on to my closet, which I have been neglecting for the longest time. I haven't done a proper clean out in such a long time, so there are definitely a lot of things that I want to get rid of.

How do you organize your closet? I'm thinking about organizing everything by color, I just love how neat that looks. My closet is so messy at the moment, I don't even know where to begin. If you have any organizing tips and tricks, please leave them down below because I would love to hear all about them. Thank you! :-)

What do you do with the clothes that you don't use anymore? Do you throw them away or do you give them away to friends or any organizations? I prefer to give mine away to The Salvation Army or Red Cross. It feels so nice to be able to give them away to people who need them more than I do! :-)

Have you picked up any new clothing items lately? What do you think about the items that I picked up? :-) Love, Christine♥

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: PLAID SHIRT

Hi guys, how are you all doing today? I hope you are doing good and that you are enjoying your Monday so far. I have a brand new outfit post to share with you today. I haven't done one in a while, so I'm super excited to show you my most recent look. I really want to do these kind of posts more often, because I like sharing my style with you guys. I'm always having so much fun coming up with different looks and I really hope that you enjoy these type of posts as much as I do!

Autumn is right around the corner, which makes me oh so happy. It's my favorite time of the year, I just love everything about it. Big and comfortable boots, oversized and cosy sweaters, dark and chilly evenings, beanies, cuddling up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and a good movie, candlelights and so forth. What is your favorite thing about Autumn? :-)

What I'm Wearing:
♥ Shirt from BlackFive, HERE.
♥ Top from Gina Tricot.
♥ Jeans from Forever 21.
♥ Shoes from Stylish Plus.
♥ Cap from eBay, HERE.

I'm wearing this cool and comfortable plaid shirt from BlackFive. The lovely people over at BlackFive kindly sent it to be a couple of months ago, and I have been wearing it non stop since I got it. It's so soft and warm, I just know that it's going to be a big favorite of mine during Autumn and Winter.

I have always been a big fan of plaid shirts, I just love how cool and edgy they look. They can also be dressed up to look more classy too. I like that it goes with a lot of different things, because it makes it a very versatile piece. I definitely need more basic items like this in my closet.

I decided to pair the plaid shirt with a simple grey top from Gina Tricot, these lovely jeans that I got on sale at Forever 21 in London and my favorite sneakers from Stylish Plus. I finished of the look with this New York Yankees cap that I ordered from eBay a while ago. I really like it and I think that it goes nicely with this look, but unfortunately it's a little too big for me. I featured it in my most recent ''New In My Closet'' post, which you can read all about, HERE if you missed it! :-)
