Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner: Review & Photos

♥ Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner.

My Thoughts:
The Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner (£8.49 for 125ml/4oz.) is designed to enhance the performance and prolong the life of your brushes. It dissolves the build-up of makeup and oil, and it's ideal for cleaning natural and synthetic brushes.

It's is available in three sizes. 2oz - £4.99 (60ml - HERE), 4oz -  £8.49 (125ml - HERE) and 8oz - £9.99 (250ml - HERE). The product comes in a clear plastic bottle, with a black spray nozzle and directions on how to use it on the side of the bottle. The product itself is pink, which I think is adorable. I have a soft spot for the color pink, I just can't help myself! Ha ha, but I know I'm not the only one out there :-)

♥ Crown Brush Make-Up Brush Cleaner.

The size of the bottle is great. It's not too big, which makes it the perfect little travel companion. I also like that the bottle is clear, so I can see how much product I have left. I love that it's got a spray nozzle, because I think it makes it easier to use, it gives me a little more control over the product and it's less messy too. I don't like to waste product, and I feel like I won't do that when I use the spray nozzle.

The spray nozzle is removable so you can pour a suitable amount of product into a bowl, or spray the product directly onto a tissue paper. I have tried both methods, and I find that the product works a little better when I pour some of it into a bowl. I just dip the brush into the product and swirl it around on a clean tissue paper. It removes all the makeup in just a few seconds. I only use this to spot clean some of my smaller makeup brushes, like my eyeshadow brushes. When it comes to the more bigger brushes like my foundation, powder and blush brushes, I prefer to just deep clean them. I try to do that at least once a week but sometimes I get lazy, so this product definitely comes in handy on days that I just need a quick and easy clean :-)

 ♥ Before.

The scent is a little strong at first, but then it lingers into a lovely and fresh scent mixed with a hint of vanilla. I didn't expect it to leave my brushes smelling like sweet vanilla, so that definitely took me by surprise. This is by far the best smelling make-up brush cleaner that I have tried :-)

Overall, I really like this make-up brush cleaner from Crown Brush. It does a great job removing the makeup that is left on the brushes, it's pink and it's got a sweet vanilla scent. How much more do you want? LOL! The fact that it's got a sweet vanilla scent makes this brush cleaner unique in my book. It's definitely a product worth checking out :-)

♥ After.

You might like this product if:
♥ You like travel friendly products.
♥ You like that it's got a spray nozzle

♥ You want your makeup brushes to smell like vanilla.

You might not like this product if:

♥ You don't spot clean your makeup brushes, only deep clean them.

City Color Cosmetics Multi-Color Blush in Coral: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

Product Description:
Multi-Color Blush has four complementary tones to create any shade you please. Comes in 6 gorgeous combinations. Swirl all together or use individually, the soft iridescence will help add just the right amount of color to your cheek for any look.

My Thoughts:
The City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral ($2.99 for 0.285oz/8.10 g.) is a pretty peachy orange blush with shimmer. The pigmentation is good and it feels very soft and smooth on the skin. It's easy to apply and it blends nicely into the skin. It doesn't have a weird scent, and it's quite build able as well.

Coral comes with four different shades. A golden champagne, a peachy orange, a bright pink and a golden shade. All four shades can be used together to create one pretty shade, or they can be used individually as either blushes or eyeshadows. I personally prefer to swirl all four shades together, I love that peachy orange shade that you get when you blend all four shades together.

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

♥ City Color Multi-Color Blush in Coral.

Coral comes in a sleek, black container with a pretty engraved design around the outer part of the compact. The middle part of the compact is clear, which allows you to see what the product looks like. I really like that, because it let's me see the product clearly, and it's very effective for storage purposes as well. The name of the blush is not listed on the back of the compact, which is the only thing I wish they would change about the packaging. I have added a little sticker with the name of the blush, just so I don't forget what it's called.

Overall, I do think that Coral is a nice blush. The shade is very pretty, it's nicely pigmented and easy to apply and blend into the skin. It does have some shimmer to it so if that is something you don't like in a blush, I'm not sure if this one is for you. I don't mind the shimmer, because I like that it gives my skin a little bit of a glow. I also like that you get a good amount of product for the price, it's definitely a blush that is worth checking out :-)

You might not like this product if:
♥ You prefer your blushes to be completely matte.
♥ You don't like coral/orange blushes.

There are a few shades that I forgot to order, so I will be going back and placing another order very soon. MUA Makeup Academy just released their Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tints which I'm very eager to try out, so I might just have to pick up a few of those as well :-)

Glitter Gal Australia Nail Polish in Stonewash Denim: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Glitter Gal Australia Nail Polish in Stonewash Denim.

Description:
The latest craze but we think neons never go out of style. A beautiful creme nail polish. Dare to be bold and brighten up your look with this statement colour. Do not contain Formaldehyde, DBP, Toluene, TFR, Camphor.

My Thoughts:
Glitter Gal Australia's nail polish in Stonewash Denim (AUD $14.95 for 15ml/0.5oz.) is a gorgeous and bright royal blue. It's very easy and smooth to apply, and it looks very nice and pretty on the nails. It didn't apply streaky or look patchy on my nails at all, which I'm so happy about. Stonewash Denim dries quickly and it's fully opaque in two-three coats.

It dries matte like most neons do. Since I'm not the biggest fan of matte nails, I like to finish them off with a shiny top coat. My favorite top coat to use is my Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, it's a must have in my book :-)

♥ Glitter Gal Australia Nail Polish in Stonewash Denim.
I love the square shaped bottle, it's really cute and very decorative. It's got the Glitter Gal logo in black on the front of the bottle, and a little sticker with the name of the shade on the bottom of the bottle. The brush is nice and easy to work with, but I find it to be a little thinner than what I prefer my nail polish brushes to be. I'm a huge fan of the more thicker  brushes because I find them to be easier to work with, and I also feel like they give me more control when I'm applying my nail polish.

Overall, I think that Stonewash Denim is a gorgeous nail polish. It's so easy to work with, and it's nice and opaque in two coats. I love to wear royal blue and navy blue shades during the Fall and Winter months, and I just can't wait to wear this shade more often during those months :-)

GlossyBox: July 2013

♥ GlossyBox: July 2013.

Hey Everyone :-)
I'm back with a brand new GlossyBox post for you guys today, and this time I'm sharing the products I received in my July box. If you don't know what GlossyBox is, it's basically an online subscription service that has fast become a favorite of beauty addicts worldwide. When you sign up, you get to fill out a beauty profile and the products are then selected by their beauty experts to suit you. A monthly subscription box costs 179NOK/$21, and you receive 5-6 beauty products :-)

Now, let's jump into the good stuff :-)

Products I received in my July box:
♥ Wen Cleansing Conditioner - HERE.
♥ Emite Make-Up Eyeshadow Primer - HERE.
♥ Être Belle Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask - HERE.
♥ Nails Inc Brook Street Nail Polish - HERE.
♥ Beautybird Fly High Active Foot Gel - HERE

There are definitely some great items in the July box, but compared to some of the previous boxes that I have received from GlossyBox, I have to say that I'm a little disappointed in this box. I love the design of the July box, isn't it pretty? I think it's really cute and it screams summer. I really like that GlossyBox is changing up their packaging, instead of just doing the regular pink boxes.

The products that I'm most excited about trying out, is definitely the eyeshadow primer from Emite Make-Up and the Être Belle Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask. I'm also curious about the Brook Street nail polish from Nails Inc. Nails Inc is a brand that I have been wanting to try out for quite some time now, so I'm very happy that they included one of their shades in the July box. Brook Street is a very soft and pretty pinky coral nail polish, which is a perfect shade for the summer :-)

If you love trying out new beauty products, GlossyBox is perfect for you. It's a fun way to try out new products and new brands, and maybe find new favorite products as well. You can check out GlossyBoxNO HERE :-)

Are you subscribed to GlossyBox? If you are, what products did you receive in your July box? :-) Love, Christine♥

Outfit Of The Day: Don't Give Up, Stay Strong

 Hey Everyone :-)
Today I'm wearing my new and oh so comfortable top from Persunmall. I paired it with my floral printed skirt from H&M, my favorite denim vest from Gina Tricot and my trusty old black high top Converse sneakers, which has been an obsession off mine since the beginning off summer. I'm also wearing my big gold chain necklace from Bik Bok, which I think goes really well with this look :-)

What I'm Wearing:
♥ Top from Persunmall.
♥ Skirt from H&M.
♥ Denim Vest from Gina Tricot.
♥ Necklace from Bik Bok.
♥ Shoes from Converse

I have been loving this cute top, which was gifted to me by the lovely people over at Persunmall. It's really soft, lightweight and super comfortable on. It feels like I'm not wearing anything which has been nice, since it's been really hot here lately. It's a little see through, so you definitely have to wear something underneath it. You can find it here :-)

Disclaimer:
The top was sent to me by Persunmall for review purposes only. No payment was received for this review. My reviews are based on my personal opinions and experience using the item(s). All opinions are my own and 100% honest.
