Nails Of The Day: Pale Pink & Leopard Print

♥ Essie Fiji and China Glaze Real Nail Polish Strips in Ferr-Ocious.

Hey Sweeties :-)
I hope you all are having a wonderful day. I wanted to start of the week with a fresh and brand new manicure. One of my favorite nail polishes from Essie is Fiji. It's such a pretty and clean shade, and I really like how it looks on my nails. It's just the perfect everyday shade in my book.

I decided to pair Fiji with these awesome leopard printed nail strips from China Glaze. Don't you just love how they look together? It's such a cute combination, and I think that the leopard print makes it look even more put together :-)

♥ Essie Fiji and China Glaze Real Nail Polish Strips in Ferr-Ocious.

What do you think about the look? Have you tried nail polish strips before? What are you wearing on your nails at the moment? :-) Love, Christine♥

Products I've Used Up: April 2013

Hey everyone :-)
It's been a while since my last empties post, so I figured it was time for me to share the products I managed to use up during the month of April. I didn't use up a lot of products and I know I'm a little late on this post, but I still wanted share them with you guys. Better late than never, right? :-)

If you have done an April empties post, please leave the link in the comments down below. I would love to check it out, and see what products you managed to use up :-)

L'Oreal Paris Eye & Lip Waterproof Make-Up Remover:
The Eye & Lip Waterproof Make-Up Remover from L'Oreal Paris, has been my go-to makeup remover for months now. It does a great job removing my makeup, and it doesn't irritate my eyes. I don't wear waterproof makeup that often but when I do, this removes it without any problems.

If you are looking for a new and affordable makeup remover, I highly recommend that you check this one out. This is definitely a product I'm going to keep buying, until I find something else that I like better :-)

Korres Showergel in Japanese Rose:
I piched up the Japanese Rose showergel a while ago. It came in a set which also included a body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. It's a very nice showergel. It foams up nicely and it's got a very good scent, which lingers on my skin for a while after I have used it. It doesn't dry or irritate my skin, which I really like because my skin is sensitive.

I don't think I will be repurchasing this product anytime soon, just because I have a bunch of different showergels that I want to use up. Once I'm finished with those, I might pick up a another bottle of the Korres Japanese Rose Showergel :-)

Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Pads:
I saw these in store a while ago, and decided that I wanted to try them out. They remove makeup very well, both regular and waterproof and the size of the pads are quite small and handy. They don't irritate my sensitive skin, which is always a huge plus for me. I don't think that I will be buying these again, unless I'm going traveling. They are actually quite expensive here, so I'm just going to stick to my Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes :-)

Simple Kind To Eyes Cleansing Facial Wipes:
These have been my favorite facial cleansing wipes for a long time now. They are very moisturizing, and they do a great job with removing any makeup on my face. They also have a very nice and fresh scent, which I find very refreshing. This is definitely a product I will keep repurchasing until I find something else that I like better :-)

Have you tried out any of these products? Did you manage to use up any products during the month of April? :-) Love, Christine♥

Hey lovelies :-)
The weather has been great lately, and it's finally starting to get warmer outside. I'm so happy that spring is here, because that means that I get to put together cute outfits and share them with you guys.

I love sharing my personal style with you guys. Spring and summer is the only time that I can wear shorts, skirts and dresses without freezing my butt off, ha ha! Let me know what you think about this look in the comments down below, your feedback means a lot to me :-)

What I'm wearing:
♥ Top from H&M.
♥ Skirt from H&M.
♥ Belt from eBay.
♥ Shoes from Jenny Skavlan's collection for Bik Bok.

I'm wearing my new neon orange top that I picked up from H&M. I absolutely love it! It was only $8, which is a total steal in my book. I paired it with this lovely floral skirt which is also from H&M, this belt from eBay and these cute boots from Jenny Skavlan for Bik Bok :-)

Are you excited for spring/summer? What do you think about this look? :-)

Tutorial: How To Depot Your MAC Eyeshadows

Hi guys, how are you doing today? I have been doing a lot of depotting lately, and I thought it would be fun to put together a step by step tutorial and show you how I do it. If you want to learn how you can depot your favorite eyeshadows and save some space in your collection, just keep reading :-)

Items you need:
♥ Flat iron.
♥ Pointed knife.
♥ Wax paper.
♥ Round magnets.
♥ A magnetic palette.
♥ Hot glue gun (optional).

♥ 1). Take your eyeshadow and a knife. Carefully slip the knife under the plastic (you can see a little ridge) and pop the pan out.

♥ 2). Then you are going to take the little pan, and place it onto the flat iron. Make sure to put the pan on a little piece of wax paper, so you don't ruin your flat iron. Leave the pan on the flat iron for about 30 seconds.

♥ 3). Now, take your knife and stick it right in the middle of the eyeshadow. Twist the knife and the eyeshadow should pop right out. Leave it on the wax paper and let it cool of. It's very hot, so be careful not to touch it.

♥ 4). Once the eyeshadow is cool, you are ready to label your eyeshadow and add a magnet. I used the MAC sticker that is on the bottom of the container, but you can use whatever you like. The sticker is very easy to remove. Just leave the container on the flat iron for about 30 seconds, then use your knife to peel of the sticker. It should come right off, if it's hot enough. Use a hot glue gun, and glue the sticker onto the back of the eyeshadow pan. To add a magnet, just peel of the little piece of paper and place it on the eyeshadow pan.

♥ My MAC single eyeshadow collection.

Depotting is extremely easy to do, but it can definitely be time consuming if you have a big collection. I'm planning on depotting most of my single eyeshadows, except those who come in a really cute packaging. I also have the CUTiE eyeshadow quad by MAC which I'm thinking about depotting as well, but I haven't made up my mind about it yet. We'll see :-)

Remember to not throw away the empty containers after you are done depotting your eyeshadows, because you can take the empty containers back to MAC. If you turn in 6 empty MAC containers, you receive 1 free lipstick. Pretty sweet, huh? I think this program is fantastic, and I wish more brands did it :-)

I hope you found my tutorial helpful. Have you depotted your eyeshadows? If no, are you thinking about doing it? :-) Love, Christine♥

Shany Cosmetics Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 02: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Shany Cosmetics Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 02.

My Thoughts:
The Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 02 by Shany Cosmetics is a 6 piece lipstick set, which includes pretty and highly pigmented shades that are imported from Luxembourg. All six shades are beautiful and very pigmented. They feel very smooth and soft on the lips, and they have a lovely shine to them.

I really like how build able the different shades are. Some of the shades in this set look quite scary, but they can be very wearable if you apply them with a light hand. I'm not a bright lipstick kind of girl, so I prefer to just dab a little bit of the color onto my lips, just to give them a nice wash of color. All 6 shades are very easy to remove, but some of the more brighter shades can stain your lips. They don't have a weird scent, which I really like :-)

♥ Shany Cosmetics Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 02.

♥ Shany Cosmetics Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 02.

The lipsticks come in a simple black and gold tube, which I think looks very beautiful, elegant and high-end. The packaging is very lightweight, which is nice but it feels a little cheap to me. The colors that you see on the box that the lipsticks first came in, are not true to the actual shades of the lipsticks. That is definitely something you have to keep in mind, before you pick up any of their lipstick kits.

Each shade has a little sticker on the bottom of the tube, with the color and number on it. I find this very useful for storage, because it's very easy for me to find the shade that I'm looking for, without having to go through each and every single lipstick. They don't have names, only numbers :-)

 ♥ Shany Cosmetics Lipsticks in 07, 08 & 9.

♥ Shany Cosmetics Lipsticks in 10, 11 & 12.

Shade 07 is a beautiful, bright pinky purple.

Shade 08 is a dark purple.

Shade 09 is a dark brown.

Shade 10 is a bright orange.

This shade is very similar to shade 6 from the Smooch Collection Lipstick Set 01. The only difference is that shade 10 is a little bit lighter than shade 6.

Shade 11 is a pretty pinky coral.

Shade 12 is a baby pink.

Overall, this is a wonderful lipstick set. I actually prefer this set over the first one, just because I think the colors are a little more wearable and more me. My favorite shades are 07 and 11. Shade 12 is the only lipstick in this set that I don't like. It's too light for my taste :-)

BB Couture For Nails Zuma Wave Rider: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ BB Couture For Nails Zuma Wave Rider.

My Thoughts:
Zuma Wave Rider is a creamy light blue nail polish with blue shimmer. It's very easy and smooth to apply, it's not sheer and it doesn't look streaky or patchy on my nails at all. Zuma Wave Rider is a fast drying, high gloss nail color, which is fully opaque in just one/two coats. It has a 4-in 1 formula. It's a base coat, top coat, nail strenghtener and color in one bottle. The consistency is actually pretty fantastic, it's not too thick or too thin :-)

♥ BB Couture For Nails Zuma Wave Rider.

♥ BB Couture For Nails Zuma Wave Rider.

The nail polish will start to run quickly, if you have too much product on your brush. I always have a little paper tissue on the table I'm working on, so I don't spill any nail polish. The nail polish brush is quite small compared to some of the other ones that I have in my collection. I personally prefer brushes that are a little thicker, because I just find those to be a little faster and easier to work with :-)

♥ BB Couture For Nails Zuma Wave Rider.

Overall, I like Zuma Wave Rider a lot. It's a beautiful light blue polish, which is very easy to work with and the quality is very nice. Zuma Wave Rider reminds me of Essie's Bikini So Teeny, which has been on my wish list for a while now. So if you have tried both of these shades, please let me know if they are any similar :-)

You might like this product if:
♥ You are looking for a good quality nail polish, that's not too expensive.
♥ You want a nail polish that's opaque in one/two coats.
♥ You love light blue nail polishes.

You might not like this product if:
♥ You prefer to wear brighter shades on your nails.
♥ You don't like shimmer.

Where to buy?
Zuma Wave Rider is available at BB Couture for $10.95. If you are interested in this product, you can find it HERE.
