Mini Haul Post: H&M

Hey Dolls :)
Yesterday, I went to H&M and I picked up a few goodies. I only picked up four items, but I wanted to do a post and share them with you guys. Haul posts are always fun to do, I hope that you you will enjoy this teeny tiny little haul post. Let me know if you want to see swatches of the two nail polishes I picked up :)

 ♥ Makeup Sponges from H&M.

I'm going to try and create a cute ombre nail look, so I had to pick up some makeup sponges. These are great, definitely keep your eyes open for a tutorial :)

♥ Jo Is In The House & Why So Blue.

♥ Jo Is In The House.

How pretty is this nail polish? It reminds me of Orly's Shine On Crazy Diamond, which has been on my wish list for a very long time. Jo Is In The House looks like a great and cheaper alternative to Shine On Crazy Diamond. It has a clear base, so its going to be perfect to layer on top of other nail polishes :)

♥ Why So Blue.

Another beautiful nail polish from H&M. When I saw this shade, I just knew that I had to bring it home with me. How pretty is this nail polish going to be for fall? I can't wait to paint my nails with it. Why So Blue and Jo Is In The House is going to look stunning together, what do you think? :)

What do you think about the two nail polishes that I picked up? Have you bought anything from H&M lately? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Tutorial: How To Create Watermelon Nails

 Hey Dolls :)
I'm back with a brand new nail tutorial for you guys tonight. Its been a while since my last one, so I thought this would be the perfect time to do one. I love being creative and I love playing around with my nail polishes :)

If you want to learn how you can create these fun watermelon nails, just keep reading :)

♥ Watermelon Nails.

 1. Start off by applying a base coat to protect your nails. Wait for your base coat to dry, then take two pieces of clear tape and cross them over your nails, creating a triangular shape.

2. Paint your nails with a reddish pink nail polish. Wait for the nail polish to dry, then remove the tape from your nails. You don't have to wait until the nail polish have completely dried, but I find it easier to remove the tape and it makes the lines looks better too.

3. Create a green tip on your nails.

4. Separate both colors by using a white nail polish striper and create a thin line.

5. Take a light green nail polish and create lines or dots.

6. Add three black seeds using a black nail polish striper to complete the look of the watermelon. Finish off with a top coat to protect your new design from chipping away :)

 Products I used:
Essie Too Too Hot.
Mojito Madness.
♥ China Glaze Entourage.
♥ L.A Colors Art Deco Nail Polish Striper in Black.
♥ L.A Colors Art Deco Nail Polish Striper in White.
♥ Essie No Chips Ahead Top Coat.

♥ Watermelon Nails.

What do you think about the final look? I think this design is very cute, fun and perfect for the summer. I really like how the design turned out. This was my first time doing a nail look using tape, and I think I did well. I definitely want to practice more, because there are so many fun and cool nail looks you can create with tape :)

What do you think about my watermelon nails? Have you missed seeing my nail tutorials? Which design do you want me to do next? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Nails Of The Day: Cute as a Button & Confetti Kisses

Hey Sweeties :)
I just painted my nails and I thought it was the perfect time to do a Nails Of The Day post and share them with you. I have been taking a few days off from wearing any nail polish, just because I wanted to give my nails a little break from all of it. They deserve their own little holiday, don't you think so too? :)

♥ Essie Cute as a Button & H&M Confetti Kisses.

♥ Essie Cute as a Button & H&M Confetti Kisses.

Today, I'm wearing Essie's Cute as a Button and Confetti Kisses from H&M. I absolutely love how these two nail polishes look together, the combination is very pretty and perfect for the summer. I have been obsessed with wearing glitter nail polish on my ring finger, I think it gives the nails that extra touch off glam and girliness. What do you think? :)

What are you wearing on your nails at the moment? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black: Review, Photos & Look

Hey Dolls :)
The Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara is my very first mascara from Rimmel London. The lovely Ysis from Le Beauty Girl was raving about this mascara, so I decided to pick it up and try it out. I'm so happy that she did a blog post about this mascara, because I don't think I would have seen this product otherwise :)

♥ Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black.

Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Show Off Mascara is the first mascara that combines lash plumping and defining bristles with a unique play-ball brush. The flat side plumps lashes with show-stopping volume. Not a clump in sight. Ball side lifts and curls lashes for eyes that truly show-off. Flake-proof, smudge-proof formula lasts morning to night!Scandalous volume and lift, for lashes to really show off!

I really like how this mascara makes my lashes look. It gives my lashes a long and natural look, which I really like. I don't have the longest lashes, so that is something I look for in a mascara. The Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara makes makes my lashes feel soft and bendable, not stiff and clumpy :)

♥ Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black.

How cool is the brush applicatior? This is my very first mascara with this type of brush applicator and I really like it. The little ball on the tip of the brush is perfect for applying mascara on the lower lashline, as well as the lashes in the inner corner of the eyes :)

♥ Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black.

I'm a big fan of the packaging of this mascara. The mascara comes in this purpely pink tube with the Rimmel London logo on the top of the cap. The tube is really cute and I think that the Rimmel London logo makes it look more girly and fun. Don't you just love it when brands put more effort into their packaging? I sure do, it makes me want to buy their products even more :)

♥ Before - Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black.

♥ After - Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black.

My Opinion:
If you are looking for a mascara that is going to give your lashes a natural look and make them a little longer, I think this is a wonderful mascara. If you are looking for a mascara that is going to give your lashes a lot of volume and thickness, you might not enjoy this mascara as much.I really like that this mascara from Rimmel London makes my lashes feel soft and bendable, not stiff and clumpy.

Where to buy?
The Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara in Black is available on Ebay for $4.67 + shipping. Here is the link to the seller.

I just cleaned out my mascara drawer, which means that I don't have a lot of mascaras left in my collection. Some were getting really old and dried up, so it was time to throw them out. At the moment, I only have a few left. If you have any recommendations, please let me know and I will check them out :)

Have you tried this mascara from Rimmel London? Whats your favorite mascara at the moment? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

I Love... Cosmetics Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Dolls :)
Are you guys ready to meet my new, favorite hand lotion? This is the Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion from I Love... Cosmetics. It is a super smooth and luxuriously nourishing hand lotion, which is going to leave your hands feeling soft and beautifully fragranced :)

♥ I Love...Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion.

My hands get so dry somethings, so a good hand lotion is something that I need to take with me when I go out. I always have this hand lotion in my handbag, along with the Raspberry & Blackberry hand lotion. A good hand lotion is a lifesaver for dry hands :)

The Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion have already replaced my tube of Hand Food Hand Cream from Soap & Glory, which used to be my favorite one :)

♥ I Love...Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion.

♥ I Love...Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion.

The Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy, which I have experienced with other hand lotions before. It only takes a few seconds for it to fully absorb into my skin, leaving my hands incredible soft and with a soft smell :)

♥ I Love...Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion.

I'm really loving the scent of this hand lotion and I have been using it a lot during the summer. The scent is so fresh, fruity and perfect for the summer. Its not strong, so its not going to give you a headache or make you feel naucious. Sometimes, products with really strong scents can do that to me.

All of the products from I Love... Cosmetics are really cute and fun. They have body butters, shower gels, bubble baths, lip balms and a body lotions in the same scents as well. If f you really like one of their scents, you can get it in different products, which I think is really nice. The color of the packaging is different too, depending on the scent of the product :)
♥ I Love...Mango & Papaya Super Soft Hand Lotion.

Have I told you that I'm a big sucker for cute packaging? I'm in love with the packaging of this product. The hand lotion comes in a orange 75ml tube with a bunch of small, medium and big hearts, isn't it cute? The hand lotion also comes with a fun product description as well, I just love it when companies put some effort into their packaging. It makes me want to try out their products even more :)

My Opinion:
If you are looking for a new hand lotion, that is going to leave your hands feeling really soft throughout the day, this is a great product. If you don't like the smell of mango's and payapa's, I Love Cosmetics have many other scents to choose from. So, I'm sure you are going to find a scent that you are going to love and that fits your fun personality :)

Where to buy?
All of the products from I Love... Cosmetics are available online and in stores. Click here and select your country to find out where you can purchase their products.

Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
Happy Birthday is actually my very first nail polish from Deborah Lippmann, It was a birthday gift from my lovely sister. Deborah Lippmann don't test their products on animals and they are free of Formaldehyde, Toluene and Dibutyl Phthalate. Keep reading if you want to know how I feel about this pretty nail polish from Deborah Lippmann :)

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday is a multi colored nail polish with hex glitters. The consistency of Happy Birthday is just perfect. Its not too thick or too thin, it got the perfect formula. The brush picks up the glitter so easily, so you don't have to strugle to get any of it on your brush and on to your nails, which I have experienced with a lot of my other glitter nail polishes.

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

The quality of the Deborah Lippmann nail polishes are amazing, so you definitely get what you pay for. They are $18 each, which I know is a lot of money for just one nail polish. If you are going to splurge on a nail polish from Deborah Lippmann, I highly recommend that you find a shade that is unique and different from the other nail polishes that you already have in your collection :)

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

I have seen quite a few brands try and dupe this very popular nail polish from Deborah Lippmann. The Advanced Salon Formula nail polish in Multi Glitter from NYX Cosmetics is by far the best dupe that I have tried so far. So, if you don't want to spend $18 on Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday, definitely check out Multi Glitter from NYX Cosmetics. Its only $3.60 on Cherry Culture at the moment, which is a total steal in my book :)

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

How pretty does all of the colorful hex glitters look? I love it :)

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

♥ Deborah Lippmann - Happy Birthday.

My Opinion:
To be completely honest with you guys, I would never go out and spend my money on this nail polish. Happy Birthday is a beautiful nail polish, but you can find so many dupes for this by other brands. I would much rather spend my money on another nail polish from Deborah Lippmann that is more unique, and that haven't been duped by all the other nail polish brands.

Multi Glitter from NYX Cosmetics is a great alternative to this nail polish, so check that one out if you don't want to spend your money on Happy Birthday. You can find great quality dupes if you just keep your eyes open for them :)

Where to buy?
Happy Birthday is available at lippmanncollection for $18 and BEAUTYBAY for $26.20.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Mauve.

Mauve is a rosy pink lipstick with hint of berry. It gives off a lovely sheen, but it has no shimmer to it. Mauve is a very rich and pigmented lipstick, which make your lips feel very soft and moisturizing.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Mauve.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the packaging is another thing that I really like about these Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. They have a really sleek and pretty tube with the color of the lipstick on top of the cap. I love it when lipsticks have this type of packaging, because it makes it so much easier to find the color that you are looking for.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Mauve.

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Mauve.

Mauve is one off those lipsticks that are perfect all year round. You can easily dab it on your lips for a beautiful wash of color, but you can also build up the color and make it darker, which is more suitable for Fall and Winter :)

My Opinion:
The Revlon Colorburst lipsticks are definitely among my favorite lipsticks, they are just amazing. Mauve is a beautiful lipstick that looks and feels great on the lips. If you are a fan of Revlon's Colorburst lipstick range and you don't have Mauve in your collection, I highly recommend that you check it out.
