Hey Dolls :)
I have been really into doing nail art lately and today I have a new Tutorial to share with you all. About a year ago, I did a colorful Zebra nail look and I really liked how it turned out, so instead off using Zebra print this time, I have used the very popular Houndstooth print :)
If you wan't to see how you can create this colorful, fun and very easy nail look, just keep reading :)
1. Start off by painting your nails with a base coat to protect your nails.
2. Take the blue nail polish off your choice and create a stripe. It doesn't have to be perfect because we are going to clean it up after all the stripes have been created. Do the same as you did with the blue nail polish with all the other colors that you have chosen to use for this nail look. Now you have to wait for the stripes to completely dry before doing the next step :)
3. Now that your design has dried, take your Konad Image Plate number m63 and your Konad Black Special Nail Polish and apply a thick coat off the special polish onto the Houndstooth print on your image plate. Use your scraper to scrape off the extra nail polish, take your stamper and transfer the design onto it. Now, take your stamper and roll the design onto your nail.
4. Apply a top coat to protect your design from chipping away and now your finished! Wasn't that quick and easy? :)
I really like this colorful nail look but I'm not 100% happy with how mine turned out. I love how the Houndstooth Print brings this look together and makes it look more put together. You can change the colors off the stripes to any colors you want and make it more toned down if you prefer that. Nail Art has no limits so don't be scared to play around and have fun with it :)
