MUA Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter.

My Thoughts:
The MUA Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (£3.00 for 7.5g.) is a pinky champagne highlighting powder, that is designed to provide sheer coverage and a radiant soft-focus effect to transform your complexion with luminescence shimmer. It perfects any look by creating a natural glow that is suitable for all skin tones.

It's very easy to work with, it blends nicely into the skin and it gives it a pretty and healthy looking glow. It comes in a white container with a clear lid. I love that the lid is clear because I like that I can see how the product looks like, and it's also great for storage as well. I'm a big fan of the white packaging, I think it looks very clean and cute. What do you guys think? :-)

I like to apply it with my Real Techniques Contour Brush. It's such a great brush, it picks up just the right amount of product and it blends it beautifully into the skin. The MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter feels very soft and smooth on my skin, and it doesn't have that gritty feeling, like some highlighters do.

Overall, I do think that this is a great highlighter. If you are new to makeup or you don't want to spend a lot of money on a good highlighter, this is a nice alternative. You get a lot of product for the price, which is great. It's not the best highlighter that I have tried, but it's definitely worth checking out :-)

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream in Light: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream in Light.

Description:
Achieve an instant fresh-faced glow without looking all made up. The Maybelline New York Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream's gel-based formula enhances skin with 8 benefits in 1:

♥ 1. Creates a natural glow.
♥ 2. Compliments skin-tone.
♥ 3. SPF 30 UV protection.
♥ 4. Hydrates all day.
♥ 5. Blurs imperfections.
♥ 6. Oil free, non-greasy.
♥ 7. Looks visibly smooth.
♥ 8. Feels fresh.

My Thoughts:
Now that the summer is here and it's getting a lot hotter outside, I normally don't gravitate towards full coverage foundations. I think that they are a little too heavy for my liking, so that's why I love to use BB creams during the summer.

The Maybelline Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream (30ml), is very easy to apply, and it blends easily into my skin. It looks very natural, it's lightweight, smooth and it gives my skin an instant and fresh looking glow. The coverage is nice, and it last a long time on my skin. It does feel a little bit sticky after I have applied it, but it goes away after I have set it with my Make Up For Ever HD Powder or my Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

The Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream comes in a very simple, beige and white squeeze tube packaging. The product itself is very liquidy and it can be quite messy at times, so I wish that it came with a pump instead. To apply it, I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I absolutely love it. I have tried applying it with my fingers and with my Beauty Blender, but I find that using the Buffing Brush works best for me.

Overall, I really like this Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 BB Cream by Maybelline. I really like how natural it looks on my skin, and how it gives my skin an instant and fresh glow. I love that it's got SPF30, because not all BB creams have that, and I think it's very important to product your skin against the sun :-)

the Balm Shadow and Blush in Hot Mama: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ the Balm Shadow and Blush in Hot Mama.

Description:
An all-in-one essential, this smart shadow, beautiful blush and subtle highlighter is tucked inside a go-anywhere compact. This pinky-peach hue adds a splash of color to your cheeks and a hint of shimmer to your lids, while illuminating your finest features.

My Thoughts:
the Balm's Shadow and Blush in Hot Mama ($20.00 for 0.25oz/7.08g.) is a pretty pinky peach blush with golden shimmer. It's very easy to apply, feels soft on the cheeks and it blends beautifully into the skin. It gives my cheeks a very natural flush of color, which I think is super pretty for summer. It also gives me a pretty and healthy looking glow, so I don't feel the need to use a highlighter with it.

It's a very pigmented blush, so a little goes a long way. You can sheer it out and make it look very natural on your cheeks, or you can build it up and make it look brighter if you want to. I have always been a big fan of multipurpose products, and Hot Mama is a great one. You can use it as a blush/highlighter or even as an eyeshadow if you want to.

I'm always drawn towards the Balm's products, because of their adorable packaging. Hot Mama come in a small, thick cardboard compact with a mirror inside and a magnetic closure. The size is perfect, so it's great for keeping in your daily makeup bag or in your handbag for touch ups :-)

You might not like this product if:
♥ You don't like shimmer.

Outfit Of The Day: Denim & Aztec Print

Hey Everyone :-)
Hope you guys are having a wonderful Saturday. Today I'm wearing my new Aztec printed dress from Gina Tricot, which was a gift from my mom. I decided to pair it with my favorite denim vest from Gina Tricot (been totally obsessed with it lately, and you might have seen it in a few off my recent looks), and my awesome studded sneakers from Økonomisko.

I'm a big fan off casual and relaxed looks, and I like how this one turned out :-)

 What I'm Wearing:
Dress from Gina Tricot.
Denim Vest from Gina Tricot.
Sneakers from Økonomisko

Last night, Simon and I saw The Hangover 3. I really liked it and had a lot of fun watching it. I don't think it's better than the first two movies, but it's definitely worth watching. Have you seen it yet? What did you think about it? :-)

What do you think about the look? Have you picked up any new clothes lately? :-) Love, Christine♥
