Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia.

Description:
Recklessly loaded with pigment for maximum impact, Lime Crime opaque lipsticks come in a rainbow of statement-making shades to underscore your individuality.

My Thoughts:
Lime Crime's Opaque Lipstick in Centrifuchsia ($15.99 for 0.12 oz/3.5 g.) is a bright fuchsia with a satin finish. It's very easy to apply, and it feels nice and smooth on the lips. It's highly pigmented, moisturizing and it last a while on my lips, before I have to re-apply it. It's got a sweet vanilla scent, which is similar to the lipsticks by MAC.

Lime Crime are known for their bright and fun shades, and Centrifuchsia is no exception. I'm a neutral lipstick kind of girl, but sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone and rock a bold lip. Centrifuchsia comes in a purple tube with Lime Crime's logo and signature unicorn on the side of the tube. I'm head over heels in love with the packaging. I think it's so adorable, fun and super girly :-)

Overall, I really like Centrifuchsia. It's highly pigmented, the shade is pretty and it's long lasting. If your not comfortable with wearing really bright shades like this one, you can make it more wearable by dabbing it on your lips for just a wash of color. It's a great way to make brighter shades more wearable, and it's something I do quite often :-)

Lime Crime Nail Polish in Lavendairy: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Lime Crime Nail Polish in Lavendairy.

Description:
Seven pastel shades, inspired by confectionary delights from Marie Antoinette's table. Recklessly pigmented crème formula is rich, smooth and opaque in just two coats. Each bottle comes equipped with a flat, wide brush for superb control and flawless application. Never tested on animals.

My Thoughts:
Lavendairy ($7.25 for 0.3oz/9ml.) is a pretty, creamy pastel lilac. It's smooth and easy to work with, and I didn't have any problems with it looking streaky or patchy on my nails. Like Lime Crime's nail polish in Once In A Blue Mousse, the consistency of Lavendairy is quite thick. I recommend that you let it fully dry before applying a second coat, just so it won't look too thick on your nails. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in 2-3 coats :-)

Lavendairy comes in a clear, matte bottle with the purple Unicorn and the Lime Crime logo on the front of the bottle. The shade of the nail polish is peeking through the bottle, which makes it look even prettier and more girly in my opinion. The brush is quite thick, which I like because I find it to be a lot easier to work with, and I feel like it gives me more control. The brush almost covers my entire nail in just one swipe, which makes the application go a lot faster.

Overall, I'm loving Lavendairy. The shade is really beautiful, it's smooth and easy to work with and the packaging is super cute. If you are a big fan of pastel shades, I highly recommend that you check out Lime Crime's nail polishes, because I think you would love them as much as I do :-)

Lime Crime Nail Polish in Once In A Blue Mousse: Review, Photos & Swatches

My Thoughts:
Once in A Blue Mousse ($7.25 for 0.3oz/9ml.) is a creamy Robin's egg blue. It's very smooth and easy to apply, but I did find it to be just a little bit streaky on the first coat. The consistency of the polish is quite thick, so make sure to let it fully dry before you apply a second coat, just so it won't look too thick on your nails. Once In A Blue Mousse comes in a clear, matte bottle with the purple Unicorn and the Lime Crime logo on the front of the bottle. I love that the shade of the nail polish is peeking through the bottle, because I think that makes the bottle look even cuter. The brush is quite thick, which I really like because I find it to be a lot easier to work with, and I feel like it gives me more control. The brush almost covers my entire nail in one swipe, which makes the application go a lot faster as well.

Overall, I absolutely love this nail polish from Lime Crime. The shade is gorgeous, it's easy to work with and the packaging is really adorable. Once In A Blue Mousse reminds me of For Audrey by China Glaze, which is one of my favorite nail polishes. It's just a tiny bit lighter than China Glaze's For Audrey, definitely a shade worth checking out :-)
