Megan Miller Nail Polish in Pink Lily: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
The Megan Miller nail polishes is environmentally friendly and crafted of the finest ingredients. The bottle is custom fitted with its own natural cork top, and each piece is hand tied with all natural raffia.

Their logo is a peacock feather. Its inspired by the display the peacock portrays when its feathers are in full bloom. The Megan Miller collection aims to inspire you to show your grandest side with confidence and ease. Like the peacock, they look to blend a natural elegance in order to make you look good, feel complete and be colorful :)

Pink Lily is a pale pink nail polish with no shimmer. The formula is just right, its not too thick and not too thin. Pink Lily is really sheer on the first coat, but it gets more opaque on the second, and perfect on third coat. You don't have to use three coats with this nail polish. You can get away with wearing just two coats, but your nails might show through. That is the reason why I prefer applying three coats, I just think it looks better that way :)

How gorgeous is the packaging of the Megan Miller nail polishes? The bottle is beautiful and so different from all the other nail polishes that I have seen. The bottle have a natural cork top, with a natural hand tied raffia, isn't it pretty? The cork top and hand tied raffia really makes this fun and unique. It definitely stands out from the rest of the nail polish brands :)

The brush is actually attached inside the cork handle. The brush is very easy to control, because the cork allows you to get a good grip on the handle. The cork is secured very well, so its not going to slide off :)

♥ Swatch - Megan Miller Nail Polish in Pink Lily.

I didn't experience any streaking with Pink Lily. This is a nail polish that is very easy to work with, its very smooth and easy to apply. I absolutely love pale pink nail polishes, because they make nails look fresh and clean.

My Opinion:
I absolutely love this nail polish from the Megan Miller Collection. I love how different the bottle is compared to Essie, OPI and China Glaze. They are really unique and fun. I love the quality of the nail polish as well.  I didn't experience any streaking and it was so easy to work with. Pink Lily definitely gets a thumb up from me :)

Outfit Of The Day: Aztec

Hey Sweeties :)
The weather has been so nice these last couple of weeks, but since I have been sick with the flu, I haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I had hoped. But I'm finally starting to feel better now, so let's keep our fingers crossed that the sun will pop up again and shine for us soon :)

Now, let's get this outfit post started! Let me know what you think in the comments down below. You know I really appreciate your feedback :)

What I'm Wearing:
♥ Cardigan from H&M.
♥ Top/Skirt from Gina Tricot.
♥ Belt from H&M.
♥ Shorts from Vila.
♥ Shoes from Converse.
♥ Sunglasses from CMYK.

The top that I'm wearing is actually a skirt, how awesome is that? I love being creative with my outfits, I think it is really fun. Because the top/skirt is so detailed, I decided to pair it with a simple, bright cardigan and this yellow skinny belt from H&M. I really like how this outfit turned out. It is very bright and fun for the summer. I can't wait to wear this top/skirt again, I absolutely love it :)

Haul Post: Madame Madeline

Hey Sweeties :)
I have been doing some online shopping these couple of weeks. I love to just curl up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and just browse my favorite online stores, don't you just love doing that too? Or maybe you prefer going to the mall? :)

I wanted to share the products I picked up from Madame Madeline with you guys. Madame Madeline is my ''go to'' website for false eyelashes. Their prices are really good and they have a great selection of brands to choose from. Their delivery time isn't that bad either. It took about a week before I got my package, and I live in Norway. If you are from the US, I'm sure it will only take a few days :)

♥ Red Cherry Lashes in #DW.

I have been looking for a pair of false eyelashes, that look natural and that are perfect for everyday wear. The lovely Rai from Glam Morena recommended the Red Cherry lashes in #DW, so I decided to pick them up. They look very similar to the Demi Wispies by Ardell, which are very popular as well. I can't wait to try these out, using my new angled tweezers :)

If you are interested in this product, you can check it out here

♥ Everlash Angled Tweezers.

I have heard so many wonderful things about this angled tweezer from Everlash. It is supposed to be amazing for applying false eyelashes, as well as  tweezing your eyebrows. Applying false eyelashes can be a little tricky sometimes, so I wanted to try out this product and see how well it works for me. I will keep you guys updated on this product :)

♥ Ardell Brow Pencil Duo in Soft Taupe.

I also picked up this brow pencil duo in soft taupe from Ardell. As you probably can tell by the picture, I have already tried out this product. This is a brow pencil that naturally fills in thin, sparse eyebrows for a beautifully defined look. I have only tried it out once, so I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I will have to keep you guys updated  :)

What do you think about my haul? Have you ordered from Madame Madeline before? Do you like wearing false eyelashes? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Haul Post: MUA Makeup Academy

Hey Sweeties :)
I wanted to start of by saying that I finally got a new lens for my Canon 550D. I have been wanting a macro lens for a while now, so I decided to pick up the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM for the money that I received for my birthday. It came in the mail on Monday and I have been playing around with it since.

I absolutely love how sharp the pictures look and how close I can get to the product, it truly is a great lens. I'm still playing around with the lens and trying to learn how it works. Let me know what you think about all the pictures down below, I would love to hear your feedback.

Enough rambling from me, let's get this haul post started. Its been a while since I placed an order at MUA Makeup Academy's website. They recently came out with some new and fun products which I was really interested in trying out, so I thought that it was the perfect time to order from their website again. If you want to see which products I picked up from MUA Makeup Academy, just keep reading :)

♥ Lip Boom in Cheeky, Ok.Com, OMG, Vibe, Doin Good & Its a Situation.

♥ Lip Boom in OMG.

♥ Lip Boom in Vibe.

♥ Lip Boom in Doin Good.

♥ Lip Boom in Its a Situation.

After seeing so many mixed reviews on MUA Makeup Academy's new lip products called Lip Boom, I decided to pick them up and try them out for myself. I picked up 6 of the 7 shades that they have available on their website.

I really like that you get a lipstick and a lip gloss in one, it can be very convenient if you are going to travel and you don't want to take a bunch of lip products with you. Keep your eyes open for a review and swatches, I will try and have it up for you guys soon :)

♥ MUA Undressed Palette.

I also picked up one of their new eye shadow palettes called the Undressed palette. I have already played around with this palette and I have to say that I'm really happy with it. All the colors are gorgeous and very pigmented. You get 12 eye shadows for only £4.00, which is a really good deal in my book :)

Have you tried out any of these products from MUA Makeup Academy? What do you think about my pictures? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Elf Cosmetics: 50% Discount

Hey Sweeties :)
A while back, Elf Cosmetics made a public announcement that they will no longer offer 50% discounts in order to bring in other fun and creative promotions. But they have decided to bring back their 50% discount one more time as a reward to us loyal fans for being so supportive of their brand.

Kamen from Elf Cosmetics UK contacted me and asked me if I could share this great offer with you guys. I'm more than happy to do so, because I love and adore their products and who doesn't love a good deal? :)

The offer will be going live from tomorrow (11.07.2012), at 10.00 BST (British Summer Time) and it will run for a limited time. The reason why the offer will run for a limited time only, is because they want to see how well the offer goes. If it goes well, they might extend it, hooray. Let's keep our fingers crossed for that.

Codes:
UK & EU - INDEMAND50
Italy: INDEMAND50IT

Click here to visit their store :)

I will definitely be taking advantage of this great offer. It is the perfect time for me to stock up on a few favorite products, as well as pick up some new products that I haven't tried out yet :)
