My Monthly Favorites: December 2012

♥ Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar.

After playing around with a new Ciate nail polish everyday in December, I have managed to find quite a few favorites. I'm very impressed with the quality of the nail polishes! The drying time is pretty fantastic, and I love how easy and smooth they are to apply. I have been having a lot of fun with the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar, and that's why it has made it into my December favorites :)

♥ Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes.

After hearing so many great things about the Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Natural Glow Facial Towelettes, I decided to pick one up at Sephora in Paris. I really like these facial towelettes, and I don't regret picking them up. I think they do a very good job removing my makeup, they feel nice on my skin (not greasy) and they have a clean and fresh scent, which I find very refreshing. I need to go online and order me some more of these, because I don't want to run out :)

♥ L'Oreal Caresse Lipsticks in Sweet Berry & Rock'n Mauve.

I picked up these L'oreal Paris Rouge Caresse lipsticks in the duty free store at the airport in Oslo. Sweet Berry and Rock'n Mauve are both beautiful, super moisturizing, smooth and pigmented. They are very similar to the Revlon Lip Butters, which I love :)

♥ Lorac PRO Palette.

I'm a huge fan of the Lorac PRO Palette, and it's been my go-to eyeshadow palette for the month of December. I'm a huge fan of neutral eyeshadows, so this palette is right up my alley :)

♥ Versace Bright Crystal.

Bright Crystal has been my go-to perfume for the month of December. I just love the fresh, flowery scent! I'm not a big fan of perfumes that have that really strong flowery scent, because they tend to give me a headache. Bright Crystal is just perfect, and I already have a backup of it lying around in my collection :)

Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar: Day #24 Enchanted Rose

Hey Everyone :)
It's time to open up hatch number 24, the last hatch in our Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. I wanted to thank you guys so much for keeping up with me on these posts. It's been so much fun, and I really hope that you have enjoyed them too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that Ciate (or another brand) comes out with something similar to this Advent Calendar next year. After playing around with a new Ciate nail polish everyday in December, I'm happy to say that I'm now a huge fan of their nail polishes :)

♥ Ciate Nail Polish in Enchanted Rose.

The nail polish hiding behind hatch number 24 is called Enchanted Rose. Enchanted Rose is a gorgeous red glitter nail polish, which is an exclusive limited edition shade in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. I really like that it's easy to work with, and that it's build able. It dries quickly, and I applied three coats.

Enchanted Rose has a thick consistency, and a clear base. I love when glitter nail polishes have a clear base, because I find those to be a little easier to apply and layer on top of other nail polishes. Enchanted Rose is a beautiful shade for Christmas, and a really good way to end this year's Advent Calendar :)

Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar: Day #23 Mojito

Hey Beauties :)
It's time to open up hatch number 23 in our Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar! Each day in December, I will be doing a brand new Ciate manicure featuring the shades in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. The nail polish behind hatch number 23 is called Mojito. Mojito is a creamy apple green nail polish. I didn't experience any streaking with this shade, but it is a little streaky on the first coat. It dries quickly and it's opaque in three coats. Mojito is not a shade I would wear during the Fall and Winter months, but it's perfect for the Summer. It's a very fresh and fun shade, that is going to brighten up a rainy day :)
