Can you believe that May is almost over? Where has the time gone? I feel like I say that every month, but it's the truth. June is heading our way, which I'm super excited about. June is my favorite month of the year! It's not only because it's my birthday month, (eeeek, I'm going to be 27 soon) but that's also when it finally starts to feel like Summer outside. I can't wait to walk around in crop tops and dresses again. It's going to be just like heaven! But I won't ramble on anymore, let's get into my May beauty favorites! :-)
Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta.
Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta has been a favorite off mine for quite some time now. It's a beautiful, golden fuchsia blush, which looks very natural on the cheeks. It gives you a pretty, flushed look with a bit of a glow as well. The packaging is stunning, so sleek and luxurious looking. The blush itself is very soft and smooth to the touch, it's easy to blend and the pigmentation is lovely as well. It's definitely a lot more expensive compared to some other blushes from high end brands, but I personally think that this blush is worth it's $38.00 price tag. What do you think? Have you tried out these Ambient Lighting Blushes from Hourglass Cosmetics? What high end blush do you think is worth the money? I would love to know! :-)

My next beauty favorite shouldn't come as a shock to you if you have been keeping up with my latest blog posts. You might have seen me talk about the Warm Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette from Sigma Beauty. It has been a favorite of mine this month, so off course I had to include it in my May favorites. This is such a lovely, versatile palette. The colors are really beautiful and I really like how easy they are to work woth. They are super creamy and buttery, which makes them so easy to blend as well. Sigma Beauty have a lot of lovely products in their range, but this palette is hands down a must have from the brand in my opinion.
I have already reviewed it on my blog, which you can check out here if you missed it. Sigma Beauty and I are also giving away this palette on my blog, so make sure to enter if you haven't done it already. You can enter our giveaway here! :-)
ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix in Lumière.
ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix in Lumière.
A lipstick that I have been loving this month has been the ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix in Lumière. Lumière is a dusty mauve pink with a matte finish. It was created by the lovely KathleenLights on YouTube (check out her channel HERE) in collaboration with ColourPop Cosmetics. I think Lumière is a color that will look good on absolutely everyone. It's comfortable to wear, has great pigmentation and it's not too drying on the lips. It has a little bit of a sheen to it, so I wouldn't say that it's 100% matte.
These kind of lipstick shades are my favorite to wear and I just can't seem to get enough off them. I've ordered their Ultra Matte Lip in Lumière 2, which should be arriving soon. I will do a ColourPop Cosmetics haul once my package is here! :-)

Versace Bright Crystal.
I have been wearing Bright Crystal from Versace non-stop during the month of May. It's a very soft, fresh and girly fragrance with notes of refreshing chilled yuzu and pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, warmed with notes of musk and amber.
If you are very sensitive to strong scented perfumes, you should definitely check out this fragrance from Versace. It's smells so fresh and nice, it's not strong at all so it won't give you a headache.
This is my third bottle, that's how much I'm in love with the scent. If you are looking for a new Summer perfume, I recommend that you give this one a good sniff next time you are in your local perfume store! :-)
After hearing so many lovely things about the Fusion Ink Foundation by Yves Saint Laurent, I decided to stop by one of my local beauty stores and ask for a couple of samples. I have been testing it out for a while now and so far I really enjoy using it. What I really like about this foundation is how effortless and easy it is to apply. It feels really soft and it glides on the skin like butter. The formula is quite thin and lightweight, so it feels like I don't have any makeup on. I hate when I can feel my foundation on my skin, it instantly makes me want to run to the bathroom and wash it off.
It looks really beautiful and quite natural on the skin, which makes it a great foundation for every day. I have bought quite a few foundations in the past, which has ended up being the wrong color match or it just didn't work with my dry skin. It's always a bummer when you spend a lot of money on a foundation and it doesn't work for you. That's why I recommend that you ask for a sample first, especially if it's more on the pricey side. I have a little left of the samples that they gave me at the store, but once I've used them up I will be picking up the full size bottle for sure.
What products have you been loving in May? Have you tried out any of my favorites? :-)
Love, Christine
