My Top 5 Lipsticks for Spring and Summer: Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :) 

I got great feedback from you guys on my post about my top 5 favorite nail polishes for Spring and Summer. So, I thought I would share my top 5 favorite lipsticks with you guys as well. Now that the Summer is finally here, I think its really fun to play around with colors. I like to keep my eye makeup neutral and just play around with different colors on my lips. 

I have done something a little different in this post. I have added arm and lip swatches because a few of you have requested me to start doing lip swatches. Let me know what you think and if this is something that you want me to keep doing :)

Snob is a beautiful matte, cool-toned pink lipstick with just a hint of lilac. It is very pigmented and it feels really soft on the lips. Snob is a little too “light” for my liking, so I always add a lip gloss on top of it. Its a great lipstick for Summer but its not a shade that everyone is going to like :)

♥ Paris by NYX Cosmetics. 

Paris is a beautiful medium pinky mauve lipstick with blue undertones. It is a very creamy and pigmented lipstick which has been one of my favorite lipsticks for over a year now. Paris can look a little bright and scary in the tube, but its actually very wearable and it looks soft and pretty on the lips.

I highly recommend that you check out NYX's Round Lipsticks, if you haven't done that already. They have a great selection of colors to choose from and you get great quality lipsticks for a very good price :)

 ♥ Lilac by Revlon. 

Lilac is a gorgeous pinkly purple lipstick with slight shimmer. It is a little sheer, so it wont look as dark as it looks in the tube, unless you build up the color on your lips. Lilac adds a soft wash of color to the lips which I really like. It has a slight shimmer, which is going to give your lips that dewy and pretty look for Summer. Lilac is definitely a perfect and very wearable color for Summer. It is one of my newest lipsticks and I'm completely in love and obsessed with it :)

 ♥ Peach by Revlon. 

Peach is a pretty peachy coral lipstick with no shimmer. It is a very creamy, smooth and moisturizing lipstick which is going to give your lips that pretty, glossy finish which I think is extra pretty for the Summer. I really like how build able Peach is. You can apply it with a light hand for a softer look or you can build it up and make it more intense and bold :)

♥ Fairest Nude by L'Oreal Paris. 

Fairest Nude is a gorgeous brownish nude lipstick with pinky/mauve undertones. It is a very pigmented, creamy and moisturizing lipstick which is more on the darker side compared to other nude lipsticks available. I prefer darker nudes, because I think it makes them more wearable and they just look better on me.

Fairest Nude has ingredients such as omega 3, Vitamin E and argan oil, which is really good for your lips. I'm not surprised to see Fairest Nude in my Top 5 lipsticks for Summer, because this is one of my all time favorite lipsticks and also a must have in my book.
