TAG: TOP 10

I came across the Top 10 tag over at Cliona's blog called Cliona Hill, which was originally created by Jessica from Pretty Chit Chat. I wasn't tagged by the girls to do this, but I thought it would be fun to do it anyway since I'm a huge fan of fun tags like this one.

The Top 10 tag is all about the top 10 beauty products that you can't live without. So if you were going away and you could only take one item from each category with you, what products would you pick? This is where it gets interesting, lol. I have so many favorite products that I love and adore, so it's definitely not easy for me to choose just ten products. I finally managed to narrow it down to just ten products. These are all products that I have been a fan of for a while now, some are even favorites that I have been loving for a couple of years. Keep reading to find out what products I chose for my ''going away'' trip! :-)

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 110 & 115, HERE

1. Foundation:
There are lots of foundations that I really like and love to use, but my favorite one is hands down the Fit Me Foundation by Maybelline. I have talked about this foundation a lot in previous blog posts, like my monthly favorites.

The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is very easy to apply. It looks very natural on the skin and it doesn't feel heavy or look cakey. It has a lovely finish, which makes my skin look very nice and fresh. I use both 110 and 115. 110 has a yellow undertone and looks a bit too light on it's own, while 115 has a pink undertone but is a little on the darker side. I like to mix and match both of these shades together to create a more wearable shade for myself. It's not always easy being a pale ghost in the beauty world! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in Transparent, HERE

2. Powder:
I'm loving the Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder by Rimmel London. I have been using it almost every single day since the lovely Krystal from Beauty by Krystal sent it to me in a swap that we did together a while ago.

I mostly use the Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder to set and prevent my under eye concealer from moving around throughout the day. Sometimes, I like to use it on the rest of my face too, just to keep my foundation in place if it's a hot day. It's such a nice powder. It works great and it's really affordable as well! :-)

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15, HERE

3. Concealer:
Definitely the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. It's very easy to blend and it has a nice coverage as well. I love using it with the Fit Me foundation, because they work so well together. It doesn't crease too much under my eyes. I prefer to apply just a little concealer under my eyes, then go back and apply more if I feel like I need some more coverage. That way I won't apply too much product at once and it's going to prevent it from creasing and looking cakey.

This is my second tube of the Fit Me concealer. I don't have much left in the tube, so I need to get my hands on a new one soon! :-)

♥ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta, HERE

♥ Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta, HERE

4. Blush:
I have been obsessed with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta for the past month. This blush is rather new to my makeup collection, but I have been using it almost every single day since I got it. It blends easily into the skin. It's got a bit of shimmer in it, which gives the cheeks a nice glow. You can build it up and make it more intense if you want to, or you can sheer it and make it look very natural on the cheeks.

I know that Hourglass isn't the cheapest brand out there, but this blush is so worth the money in my opionion. Everything about this blush is just beautiful. If you are thinking about splurging on an Ambient Lighting Blush from Hourglass, Radiant Magenta is a good choice! :-)

♥ The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01, HERE

5. Bronzer:
I have been really into the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder by The Body Shop. It looks very natural on the skin. It's easy to apply and blend, has nice pigmentation, it's build able and it doesn't make you look orange like some bronzers do. After hearing so many lovely things about this bronzer, I just had to add it to my collection. It's the perfect bronzer for girls with a fair/light skin tone.

♥ MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, HERE

♥ MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle, HERE

6. Highlighter:
I'm still sticking to my MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. It's been my favorite highlighter for the past couple of years now, it's also my most used highlighter in my entire makeup collection. I just love how it looks on the skin, very beautiful and glowy.

Soft and Gente isn't one of the the most affordable highlighters on the beauty market, but I think it's worth every penny. A little goes a long way with this one so it's going to last you a very long time, definitely a must have in my book! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Mascara, HERE

7. Mascara:
The Rimmel London Lash Accelerator is my favorite mascara at the moment. I used to use it a couple of years ago, but didn't re-purchase it because I had a lot of other mascaras that I needed to use up first. I decided to pick it up again at Boots in London, because I remembered how much I used to love it. I'm so happy that I decided to pick it up again, because I have fallen in love with it all over again.

I love that it doesn't clump or make my lashes stick together. It gives my lashes nice length and volume and it's build able as well. I will definitely be picking up a couple of backups of this mascara soon! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette, HERE

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette, HERE

8. Eyeshadow:
Neutral eyeshadows have always been a weakness of mine when it comes to beauty products, because they are some of my favorite products to test and try out. I always find single eyeshadows or palettes that I want to try out, regardless if I have something similar to it in my collection already.

One of my favorite and most used palettes is the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. It's such a nice, every day kind of palette. The eyeshadows are soft and they feel quite smooth, they are nicely pigmented and easy to blend. I really want to get my hands on the Naked Basics 2 palette, it looks gorgeous. What do you think about it? Have you picked it up yet? It's available at Sephora, HERE! :-)

♥ Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow, HERE

9. Brows:
Definitely Gimme Brow by Benefit Cosmetics. It's been my go-to brow product for a month now and I couldn't be any more happier with it. I have never been good at filling in my brows with powder, so this has been a big game changer for my brows. It's really quick and easy to use and it makes the brows look very natural and pretty. I reviewed it a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't seen it yet, you can find it HERE! :-)

♥ Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry, HERE

10. Lip Product:
I'm not going to lie, I have become a little addicted to the Carmex Lip Balm in Cherry and it has quickly turned into a big favorite of mine. It feels nice on the lips without being greasy or sticky. I love applying it at night right before I go to bed, because it make my lips so smooth and soft when I wake up the next morning. I reviewed it a while ago. If you missed it,  you can find it HERE! :-)

Tag your it! I want to see your top 10 favorite products. If you have already done this tag, please leave the link to your post down below, because I would love to check it out! :-)

What do you think about the Top 10 Tag? Have you done it on your blog? Have you tried out any of the products above? :-) Love, Christine♥

BENEFIT COSMETICS GIMME BROW BROW-VOLUMIZING FIBER GEL IN LIGHT/MEDIUM: REVIEW, PHOTOS & SWATCHES

The Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow ($22.00 for 3.0g Net wt. 0.1oz.) is a brow-volumizing fiber gel. It adheres to the skin and hair, creating brows where before there were none. It builds easily for thick, lush arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending and a precision tip for shaping. The fiber gel is water resistant, long lasting, and build able for natural-looking brows.

♥ Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel.

The best way to apply the Gimme Brow is to use short pressing motions. Stroke the brush tip along the brow to define the shape and give the brow some color. If you want a natural look, start at the inner edge of the brow and move outwards. Comb through to blend everything together. If you want to add more volume to your brows, you can definitely build it up. Keep in mind that if you do decide to build it up, the brows are going to feel a bit stiff. But it's going to help them stay in place throughout the day.

The Gimme Brow sets pretty quickly and it doesn't have a very wet formula. It doesn't fade away during the day either, which is another thing that I really like about this brow-volumizing fiber gel from Benefit Cosmetics. Before I heard about Gimme Brow, I used to use the e.l.f. Cosmetics Eyebrow Treat & Tame. I did like it a lot. It gave my brows shape and a nice color, but it faded away after a while. This stays in place until I remove it with a makeup remover wipe. It's safe to say that I won't be going back to the Eyebrow Treat & Tame from e.l.f. Cosmetics, not as long as Gimme Brow is available for purchase! :-)

♥ Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel.

♥ Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Brow-Volumizing Fiber Gel.

Gimme Brow comes in a brown and black tube with a cute polka dot design. The tube is quite small, which makes it very easy to just throw in your handbag for touch ups throughout the day or even for travel. I like how small the brush is, because it gives me more control over the application and it's less messy as well.

The brush doesn't distribute too much product at once, which is great. Just the right amount of product, not too little nor too much. It's got a quite strong scent though, which I'm not the biggest fan of. But when it's on the brows, the scent isn't as noticeable anymore.

Overall, I have never been good at filling in my brows with powder, so Benefit Cosmetics's Gimme Brow has been a total lifesaver for me. It gives my brows definition and a lovely tint of color, which looks really natural. I have been using it almost every single day since I bought it and I have developed an obsession with it. It's such a lovely product, I will definitely be re-purchasing it when I run out.

Please excuse the brows, I need to get them done soon! :-)

WISHLIST VOL.1: URBAN DECAY, OPI, SLEEK MAKEUP, BENEFIT, SALLY HANSEN, ZOYA & SEPHORA

Online shopping is my favorite way to shop, especially when it comes for beauty and fashion related things. One off my favorite stores is eBay. My eBay watch list is filled up with everything from shoes, handbags and makeup to jewelry, cute iPhone cases and nail art supplies. Unfortunately, there are also a lot off fake products on eBay. I always make sure to check out the seller's feedback and rating before I make a purchase. I have been pretty pleased and happy with most off my purchases so far, but there have been a few misses along the way.

Other online stores that I really enjoy besides eBay are Cloud 10 Beauty, BeautyBay, BeautyJoint, Lookfantastic and Sephora. Whenever I'm ordering from Sephora, I use a mail forwarding website called Shipito to get my items shipped directly to me. Shipito is very easy to use, the shipping isn't too expensive and the delivery time is pretty good. Shipito is the only mail forwarding website that I've tried, and I'm very happy with how it works! :-)

I thought it would be fun to show you some off the items that I'm currently lusting over. Here we go! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Naked 3 (HERE), OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (HERE), Benefit Hoola Bronzer (HERE) & Sally Hansen Insta Dry Top Coat (HERE).

♥ Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation (HERE), Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation (HERE), Zoya Nail Lacquer in Payton (HERE) & Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Garden of Eden Eyeshadow Palette (HERE).

What items are on your beauty wishlist at the moment? See anything here that you want to try out? :-) Love, Christine♥

My Monthly Favorites: February 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
February is almost over, which means that it's time for me to share my favorite products of the month with you guys. I have a little mix of makeup and skin care products to show you, so let's get this fun post started :-)

 L'Occitane Milk Concentrate:
I'm obsessed with L'Occitane's Almond range (mainly because of the smell), and this product has quickly become a big favorite of mine. Milk Concentrate is a moisturizer for your body. It absorbs quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy feeling behind. I really like that it makes my skin soft and silky smooth, and it's got the most beautiful smell. If you love the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, you are going to love this product :-)

EOS Lip Balm in Watermelon Wonderland:
Watermelon Wonderland has been my go-to lipbalm for the entire month of February. It's part of EOS's Alice in Wonderland collection, which was released back in 2012. I'm obsessed with this lip balm. It makes my lips so smooth and soft, and it keeps them nice and moistruized for hours. The name is super cute and and it smells really good, which is always a plus for me. I highly recommend that you check out these lip balms, if you haven't done that already :-)

Decleor Aroma Cleanse, Aromessence Rose D'orient, Harmonie Calm & Aroma Night:
I started using these skin care products by Decleor a few weeks ago, and I have been really liking them so far. My skin is very sensitive, and it gets extra dry when it's winter and cold outside. These products have been helping my skin a lot,  keeping it nice and hydrated. Hopefully they will make it into my March favorites, we'll have to wait and see about that :-)

NYX Trio Eyeshadow Palette in TS 17 - Frosted Flake/Slate/Iced Mocha:
As you probably can tell by looking at the picture, I have been loving the second and the third shade in this palette a lot. I do have a few of these NYX trio eyeshadow palettes in my makeup collection, but this one is definitely my favorite. All three shades are silky smooth and soft. The shadows are very easy to apply, they blend nicely and they are very pigmented as well :-)

Benefit Erase Paste in Fair:
Erase Paste by Benefit has yet again made it into my monthly favorites. I can't say enough good things about this product. This is the perfect under eye concealer for me. It doesn't settle into my fine lines and it doesn't crease, unless I use way too much product. I used to use my fingers to apply it with, but now I use my bellowed Sigma P82 brush. I find this brush to be perfect because it blends out the concealer nicely, without taking away any product. I highly recommend this concealer, it's one of the best concealers that I have tried :-)

Inkane Natural Lipstick in Shade #605:
This lipstick has been my favorite of the month. It's a neutral brown lipstick, which is really easy to apply. It's very smooth and creamy, the shade is gorgeous and it's also very pigmented.  This particular lipstick reminds me of the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks, which are amazing but quite expensive. It has the same creamy and nice texture, but not as shiny. Here is my review if you missed it :-)

What products have you been loving for the month of February? :-) Xoxo, Christine♥
