Valentine's Day Nails: Pink, Glitter & Hearts

Hey Everyone :-)
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so I thought I would show you this nail look that I created using my new ORLY nail lacquer in Lift The Veil. This look is extremely quick and easy to do, and I only used three products to complete the look. It's a very cute and girly look, perfect for Valentine's Day. If you want to know how I created this look and what products I used, then just keep reading :-)

How to create this look:
♥ 1) Start of by applying a base coat to protect your natural nails.
♥ 2) Apply a light pink nail polish on all of your nails. I used ORLY's Nail Lacquer in Lift The Veil.
♥ 3) Take the pink glitter nail polish of your choice, and apply it on top of the light pink shade that we first used.
♥ 4) Finish of the look with the heart fimo sticks. Apply them on top of the pink glitter polish while it's still wet, and that's it :-)

Products I've used to create this look:
♥ OPI Original Nail Envy Nail Strengthener. You can find this product HERE.
♥ ORLY Nail Lacquer in Lift The Veil. You can find this product HERE.
♥ NYX Advanced Salon Formula Nail Polish in Precious Gems. You can find this product HERE.
♥ Fruit Fimo Nail Art Sticks. You can find this product HERE

How are you going to spend your Valentine's Day? I'm going on a dinner and movie date with Simon, which I'm super excited about. I love Valentine's Day, and I just can't wait to spend it with him :-)

ORLY Nail Lacquer in La Vida Loca: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ ORLY Nail Lacquer in La Vida Loca.

As one of the nail care industry’s renowned color houses, ORLY introduces new collections each season to keep you en-trend and in style. ORLY La Vida Loca Nail Lacquer is free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde and features their award-winning gripper cap for fuss-free application every time.

♥ ORLY Nail Lacquer in La Vida Loca.

 My Thoughts:
La Vida Loca is a beautiful neon fuchsia nail polish with underlying blue/violet iridescence. This shade is so easy to apply. It goes on very smooth and it doesn't streak at all, but the consistency is a little thin so I had to apply a few coats to make the color look nice and opaque. La Vida Loca dries quickly and it's fully opaque in two/three coats.

La Vida Loca was recently released as part of Orly's new Valentine's Day collection called I Love Nails. La Vida Loca aren’t new, just a previously released color. I'm a huge fan of the gripper cap, it's one of the reasons why I love Orly's nail polishes so much. It gives me a much better grip, and it also makes it a lot easier to control the brush when I'm working with my nail polish.

Overall, I really like this nail polish a lot. It's such a pretty shade, and I really like how it brightens up my nails and makes them pop. La Vida Loca is a gorgeous and bright shade that's perfect for the summer, as well as for Valentine's Day. I'm looking forward to wear this during the summer, because I think it's going to look even more beautiful with a nice tan :-)

My Thoughts:
Lift The Veil is a light and creamy baby pink nail polish. It's really easy to apply, but It is a little sheer and a bit streaky on the first coat. It goes on a lot smoother and nicer on the second coat, it dries quickly and it's fully opaque in three/four coats.

This shade was recently released as part of Orly's new Valentine's Day collection called I Love Nails, but it's not a new shade, just a previously released color.

Overall, I think Lift The Veil is a wonderful nail polish. I love how easy it is to work with, the shade is gorgeous and the quality of the nail polish is amazing. The gripper cap is also one of the reasons why I love Orly's nail polishes so much. I feel like it gives me a a much better grip, and it makes it a lot easier to control the brush when I'm applying my nail polish. Orly Kiss The Bride: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Sweeties :)
I have another nail polish review to share with all off you today. Today's post is going to be all about Orly's Kiss The Bride. Its my one and only nail polish by Orly, if you want to know what I think about this nail polish, just keep reading.

♥ Orly Kiss The Bride.

Say hello to my favorite pale pink nail polish, Kiss The Bride by Orly. Kiss The Bride is a part off their permanent collection and its a beautiful pale, milky pink nail polish with a cream finish :)

♥ Orly Kiss The Bride.

The nail polish brush is very skinny which can make the first application slightly streaky but it builds up the color very well in just a few swipes. I actually like the formula off this nail polish a lot. Its not too thick or too thin which I really like. I'm not a fan off nail polishes with thicker formulas because I find them to be a bit difficult to apply.

♥ Orly Kiss The Bride.

 ♥ Orly Kiss The Bride.

I absolutely love and adore the packaging, its just amazing! It has a patented, rubberized cap which gives you a more comfortable and easy grip and I feel like it makes the application a lot easier. Say goodbye to stuck nail polish lids because you wont have that problem anymore. The person who came up with the idea for the patented, rubberized cap is a genius, I wish all nail polishes had that, what do you guys think? :)

♥ Orly Kiss The Bride.

Kiss The Bride gives my nails such a clean, natural and pretty look. Its lovely to use on its own, but also perfect to use as a part off a french manicure. You can also use it as a base for glitter polishes too which is going to look really cute. From a far, Kiss The Bride almost looks white but its a gorgeous pale pink color. I'm loving this color a lot and I used three thick coats to make it opaque :)

Rating: 5/6

Where to buy?
If you live the the US, Orly's Kiss The Bride is available on orlybeauty.com for $8.50. You can also find it on beautybay.com for $10.40 and on Ebay for $6.75 + shipping. Here is the link to the Ebay seller :)

Do you have this color in your nail polish collection? Which Orly nail polish is your favorite? Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment :) Xoxo, Christine♥

Orly: Kiss The Bride

The reason why i bought this nail polish was because of the lovely Michelle from elbellesworld. I have been searching for Confetti by Orly for the longest time now in hope that someone might sell it, but no luck. Michelle left me a comment saying that this was almost an exact dupe for confetti which made me so happy. I cant wait to give this a try, it looks so pretty in the bottle. This is also my very first nail polish by Orly. My birthday is coming up really soon and i might be wishing for a few more bottles of Orly nail polish☺

Have you tried any nail polishes by Orly?
Do you have any colors to recommend me?☺

Orly: Confetti

Does anyone know where i can get my hands on Confetti by Orly? Confetti is from Orly's Carnivale Collection that came out in 2009. I have been looking everywhere for this nail polish, but i cant find it anywhere and im getting a little frustrated haha! I believe that this nail polish has been discontinued, but I was hoping to find a website that still has it! ☺

Do you know any websites that sells discontinued nail polishes?
Do you recommend any other shades by Orly?☺
Love Christine♥
