NAILS OF THE DAY: SERENDIPITY

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you guys doing on this lovely Friday? Do you have any plans for the weekend? I wanted to do a quick blog post and show you my Christmas manicure. I'm currently wearing Serendipity by Ciate on my nails, which is a gorgeous pink glitter nail polish. I have been wearing this shade since Christmas Eve, and I'm totally obsessed with it (check out my Ciate Mini Mani post HERE).

♥ Ciate Nail Polish in Serendipity.

♥ Ciate Nail Polish in Serendipity.

Serendipity is a limited edition shade, which was only available in the 2013 Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. It's a really beautiful nail polish, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that Ciate will add it to their permanent line. Serendipity is a shade that I would wear all year round, not just during the holidays. Who doesn't like a pretty pink glitter manicure? I'm all for it! :-)

What do you think about Serendipity? Would you wear it? What nail polish are you wearing on your nails at the moment? :-) Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.24: SERENDIPITY

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Serendipity.

Ciate Nail Polish in Serendipity is a pretty pink glitter. It's very easy to apply, and It goes on very smooth and evently on the nails. I'm so happy that it's a full-on glitter nail polish, because I would have been a little disappointed if it ended up being very sheer and needed lots of extra coats. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in only two coats.

Serendipity is a limited edition shade, which only comes as part off the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. I really hope that Ciate will add this to their permanent line, because it's a really gorgeous nail polish. It's really girly and a super cute shade, a total must have in my book!

Serendipity is the very last shade in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to check out these nail polish posts and for leaving sweet comments, it's been such a fun month. I've had a lot off fun opening up all the hatches in the calendar, and swatching all the shades for you guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that Ciate will do this again next year! :-)

What do you think about Serendipity? Would you wear it? Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.23: LOCKET

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Locket.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Locket is a pretty silver nail polish with glitter. It's very easy to apply and work with! The glitter is very smooth and it goes on evenly on all the nails. It's got the same soft and smooth texture as Ciate Party Shoes (link to the post HERE), which is totally awesome. It doesn't have that gritty feeling, like most glitter nail polishes have. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in three coats.

I think Locket is going to be on my nails this Christmas! Thinking about wearing it on it's own, or maybe on my ring finger (paired with Ciate Boudoir) for some sparkle and fun. I might take some photos and do a NOTD post, it's been a while since I've done one! :-)

What do you think about Locket? Do you like to wear glitter nail polishes? Would you wear Locket on your nails? :-) Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.22: CHRISTMAS TREE CAVIAR

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Boudoir & Caviar Pearls in Christmas Tree Caviar.

Ciate Caviar Pearls in Christmas Tree Caviar has a pretty mix off silver, red and green pearls. It's easy and very fun to apply. While your base coat is still wet (I used the Ciate Underwear Base Coat), pour the pearls all over your nail(s). Make sure that you keep your hands on a plate or over a bowl, just to prevent the pearls from getting everywhere. The pearls are very small, so it's easy to make a huge mess. It's also going to make it easier to get the excess pearls back in the bottle again. If you want the pearls to last longer on your nails, make sure that you finish off the look with a good top coat.

I have always been a big fan off the Ciate Caviar Pearls! I think that they are very unique and fun to play around with, and they always have the cutest names. Christmas Tree Caviar is another great one from Ciate, and it's perfect for Christmas too! :-)

What do you think about Christmas Tree Caviar? Are you a fan off the Ciate Caviar Pearls? Which nail polish will you be rocking for Christmas? :-) Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.21: CONFETTI

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Confetti.

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Confetti.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Confetti is a pretty holographic glitter nail polish. It's nice and easy to apply! I was hoping that Confetti would have the same smooth texture as Party Shoes, which was the nail polish behind hatch number 14 in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar (link to the post HERE). Confetti has a gritty and harsh texture like most glitter nail polishes, which definitely can be a challenge to remove, LOL! It dries quickly, like most off the Ciate nail polishes.

Confetti is a fun shade to wear on it's own, but you can also wear it as a top coat and pair it with different nail polishes for a fun manicure :-)

Confetti is currently on sale on BeautyBay for $9.90, HERE is the link.

What do you think about Confetti? Do you like holographic glitter nail polishes? :-) Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.20: IVORY QUEEN

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Ivory Queen.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Ivory Queen is a pretty nude with a hint off shimmer and a creamy finish. It's very easy to apply and I didn't notice any streaking while applying it. It dries quickly and it's fully opaque in three coats.

Ivory Queen is another great everyday type off shade from Ciate. It's a little similar to Members Only, which was the shade behind hatch number 16 in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar (link to the post HERE). Ivory Queen is a just a bit lighter than Members Only, and the shimmer is more fine as well.

Ivory Queen is available at BeautyBay for $10, HERE is the link.

What do you think about Ivory Queen? Do you like the shade? Which nail polish are you wearing at the moment? :-) Love, Christine♥

Ciate Underwear is a base coat specially formulated with lotus extract, to create the perfect foundation for your nail polish. It fills in all the ridges on your nails, and grooves in the nail to give a smooth long lasting finish.

I haven't heard much about this base coat from Ciate, but I'm definitely excited to try it out. I will let you guys know my thoughts and opinions on it, once I've played around with it! :-)

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.18: AMAZING GRACIE

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Amazing Gracie.

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Amazing Gracie.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Amazing Gracie is a pretty sheer pink with a creamy finish. It's easy to apply, and I didn't have any problems with it being streaky on the first coat. Since it's a sheer shade, it's going to need a couple off extra coats for it to look fully opaque on the nails (I used three coats here). It dries very quickly, which is always a big plus in my book.

Amazing Gracie give the nails a very fresh and clean look, which I'm a huge fan off. It's also a great shade for a traditional french manicure! :-)

Amazing Gracie is available at BeautyBay for $13.90, HERE is the link if you are interested :-)

What do you think about Amazing Gracie? Would you wear it? :-) Love, Christine♥

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.17: FROST YOURSELF

♥ Ciate Caviar Pearls in Frost Yourself.

Ciate Caviar Pearls in Frost Yourself has a beautiful mix off blue, silver and gold pearls. It's very easy and fun to apply. While your base coat is still wet (I used the OPI Original Nail Envy Nail Strengthener), pour the pearls all over your nail(s). Make sure that you keep your hands on a plate or over a deep bowl, just to prevent all the pearls from getting everywhere. The pearls are quite small, so it's very easy to create a big mess. It also makes it easier to get the excess pearls back in the bottle again. If you want the pearls to last longer on your nails, make sure that you finish with a good top coat.

I'm digging Frost Yourself! I really like the blue, silver and gold together. It's such a pretty color combination, and how cute is the name? I absolutely love it! The Caviar Pearls from Ciate are definitely a great way to create some fun and unique manicures! :-)

What do you think about Frost Yourself? Would you wear it? Are you a fan off the Ciate Caviar Pearls? :-) Love, Christine♥

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Members Only.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Members Only is a pretty peachy nude with shimmer. It's easy to apply. It didn't apply streaky or look patchy on my nails, but it's a little sheer on the first coat. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in three coats.

Members Only is definitely one off my favorite shades so far in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. It's such a beautiful shimmery peachy nude, which is perfect for special occasions or even as an everyday shade! :-)

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Play Date.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Play Date is a vibrant pink with a coral twist and a creamy finish. It's very easy to apply, it didn't go on streaky or look patchy on my nails. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in two/three coats (I used two coats here).

Play Date is a great alternative to a classic red nail polish. It's pretty, bold and overall a very fun shade to wear on the nails. Play Date looks even prettier on the nails, than how it looks in the bottle! :-)

Play Date is available at BeautyBay for $13.90, HERE is the link if you are interested :-)

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.14: PARTY SHOES

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Party Shoes.

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Party Shoes.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Party Shoes is a pretty gold nail polish with dual glitter. It's very easy to apply! The glitter goes on very smooth and evenly on the nails. The consistency is quite thin, which makes the application a little easier as well. Party Shoes is actually quite easy to remove, because it doesn't have that gritty texture that most glitter nail polishes have. It literally feels like I'm not wearing any glitter on my nails, which is pretty awesome! :-)

I absolutely love Party Shoes! You can wear it on it's own, or you can use it as a top coat over your favorite nail polishes. I think Party Shoes would look very pretty on top off a light pink shade like Essie Fiji or Zoya Bela. What do you think? :-)

Party Shoes is available at BeautyBay for $13.90, HERE is the link if you are interested. PS: There are only a few bottles left!

What do you think about Party Shoes? What is your opinion on glitter nail polishes? How often do you wear them? :-) Love, Christine♥

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Ferris Wheel.

♥ Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Ferris Wheel.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Ferris Wheel is a pretty pastel blue with a creamy finish. I found this shade to be a little difficult to work with. It's very sheer and streaky on the first coat, but it gets a lot better on the second coat. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in three coats.

I'm a big fan off pastel nail polishes, because I think that they give the nails such a soft and sweet look. Ferris Wheel is another great shade from Ciate! :-)

Ferris Wheel is available at BeautyBay for $13.90, HERE is the link to the product if you are interested :-)

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Pepperminty is a fresh mint green with a creamy finish. It's easy to apply, but it's sheer and a little streaky on the first coat. It dries quickly, and it's fully opaque in three coats.

One off my favorite shades to wear on my nails, is definitely mint green. It's just something about that shade that draws my attention. Pepperminty is such a pretty mint green, and definitely a must have shade for the summer! :-)

CIATE MINI MANI MONTH ADVENT CALENDAR DAY.11: JINGLE BELLE

♥ Ciate Mini Glitter in Jingle Belle.

♥ Ciate Mini Glitter in Jingle Belle.

Ciate Mini Glitter in Jingle Belle is a fine loose pink glitter with a slight gold shimmer throughout. It's very easy to apply! While your base coat is still wet, pour the glitter over your nails. Wait until it has dried, then you can knock off any off the excess glitter that's left on your nails.

If you want the glitter to last longer on your nails, make sure to finish off with a nice top coat. The application can be a little messy, so just keep that in mind. The glitter can be a little tricky to remove with just a regular nail polish remover and a cotton pad. I do recommend that you try out the foil method, it's a quick and easy way to remove glitter! :-)

I'm a huge fan off glitters and glitter nail polishes. I think that they are fun to play around with, and you can also create a lot of pretty and unique looks with them as well. I think Jingle Belle would look very pretty paired with Essie Fiji or Essie Blanc! Should I create a look? Let me know in the comments down below :-)

What do you think about Jingle Belle? Do you like to wear glitter on your nails? :-) Love, Christine♥

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Pillow Fight is a delicate grey with a hint of lilac and a creamy finish. It's easy to apply and work with, but found it to be a little sheer on the first coat, like some off the other shades so far in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. It dries quickly and it's fully opaque in three coats.

I'm really loving Pillow Fight! It's one off those shades that I never get tired off wearing on my nails, I just feel like it's one off those shades that works all year round. I know that I will be getting some good use out off this one, that's for sure! :-)

Happy Saturday! How are you guys doing today? I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend! I'm feeling a little better today, which I'm very happy about. I hate feeling under the weather, especially during December!

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in Fit For A Queen is a pretty classic metallic silver. It's very smooth and easy to apply. It dries quickly and it's fully opaque in two coats.

Fit For A Queen is a dupe for Zoya Trixie, which I featured along with Miss Mistletoe on day four in the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar (link to the post HERE).
