The Body Shop Body Butter in Olive ($20.00 for 200ml/6.75oz.) is a rich and creamy body butter that melts straight in to the skin, leaving behind a soft and smooth feeling that last for hours. It contains Community Fair Trade organic olive oil and has a subtle fruity, neutral olive scent.

The Body Shop Body Butter in Olive has a nice, thick and buttery texture, which doesn't feel too greasy or oily on the skin. It absorbs quite quickly, leaving the skin feeling very smooth and soft afterwards. It's a great body butter if you are suffering from dry skin! :-)

The Body Shop Body Butter in Olive comes in a green tub with The Body Shop logo in the middle of the lid and a big photo of a bunch of olives hanging on a branch. There is a little information about the product as well as a list of ingredients on the back of the container.
The body butters from The Body Shop come in three different sizes, jumbo (13.5oz), regular (6.9oz) and travel (1.7oz). The jumbo sized body butter in Olive is limited edition, so I'm not sure when or where you might be able to get you're hands on it. I think it becomes available online every once in a while, but don't quote me on that. Definitely be sure to keep your eyes peeled! :-)

If you're not familiar with the body butters from The Body Shop but you are curious about trying them out, I highly recommend that you go for the travel size first. It's a great way to test out the product first, without committing to buying the full size product.
I have bought quite a few full sized products over the last couple of years that I had to throw away, because I never used them. That's just a waste of money in my opinion! Now, I always try to get my hands on a sample first, I guess you learn from you're mistakes huh? :-)

Overall, I really like the Olive Body Butter from The Body Shop. I think it's worth all the love and hype that it's been getting and I can definitely understand why it's one of their best selling body products.
I like that it keeps my skin soft and moisturized throughout the day. The scent is one of the reasons why I love this specific body butter so much. It's such a delightful, clean and very fresh scent which never gets old in my book. The Body Shop Body Butter in Olive is definitely a must have for me now that it's starting to get a lot colder outside! :-)

What's your favorite body butter from The Body Shop? Have you tried Olive? What do you think about it? :-) Love, Christine♥
I have this one too and I really like it! It's a very fresh and light smell, unlike some of the other body butters (I like the blueberry and chocolate too) which can be a bit heavy and not for every occasion!

This is one of my favorite body butters from TBS! But I do have a lot of favorites among them though. I like the Olive one in spring and fall, the coconut, raspberry or mango in summer and brazil nut in the winter :)
ReplyDeleteI am yet to try the body butters from The Body Shop. After reading this, I think I will give them a go!
