GLOSSYBOX - SHADES OF LOVE: FEBRUARY 2015

Today's blog post is going to be all about the February GLOSSYBOX, which is called Shades of Love. This box is filled with 7 little beauty treats, which I'm super excited to be sharing with you guys in today's post. So without any further ado, let's  take a closer look at the products inside the February box! :-)

Kueshi Revitalizing Face Toner, (HERE).
Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in 50 Shades, (HERE).
Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush in Romantic, (HERE).

My favorite items from the February GLOSSYBOX has to be the Kueshi Revitalizing Face Toner, Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush in Romantic and the L'Oreal Paris Mythic Oil Souffle d'Or Shampoo and Conditioner. I love testing out new skin care products, so I can barely wait to give the Revitalizing Face Toner by Kueshi a go. I'm going to try it out tonight before I go to bed, will make sure to update you on what I think about it soon!

I'm also looking forward to trying out the Nicka K Colorluxe Powder Blush in Romantic. It's such a gorgeous color, which looks like it could be my new go-to and favorite blush for every day. I don't have any blushes with this kind of applicator in my makeup collection, so I'm excited to test it out and see how well it works.

I have heard lovely things about L'Oreal Paris's Mythic Oil range and I'm so happy that GLOSSYBOX decided to include them in this box. There is no denying that I have a weakness for good smelling products and these definitely have a yummy scent to them! :-)

GLOSSYBOX: JANUARY 2015

My January GLOSSYBOX arrived on Wednesday last week and I couldn't be more happy with it! Like I mentioned in my previous GLOSSYBOX post (Christmas Limited Edition Box), I just started subscribing to them again after taking a rather long break. I have been quite happy with the three boxes that I have received so far and I'm hoping that they will keep getting better and better each month.

Let's take a closer look at the items inside the January GLOSSYBOX! :-)

 ♥ GLOSSYBOX: January 2015.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Hydra Energetic Daily Moisturizer, (HERE).
♥ Plackers Twin, (HERE).

There were quite a few exciting products in the January GLOSSYBOX. I'm so happy that they included a Microshadow from Make Up Store, because they are fantastic and quite affordable as well. I also got another Lip Butter from Royal Apothic, which I'm super excited about. I received their berry shade in the GLOSSYBOX Christmas Limited Edition Box and it's beautiful. This one is in the shade Pink and it looks gorgeous!

The Absolute New York Garlic Nail Treatment is another exciting product in the January GLOSSYBOX. My nails haven't been in the best shape lately, so I'm hoping that this is going to help them grow and become stronger. It definitely sounds like a promising nail product, so I can't wait to try it out and see what I think about it. I'm going to give it a go tonight, I will let you guys know my thoughts on it. Let me know if you would like to see a review on it! :-)

I also got a set of 10 flossers by the brand Plackers, which are always very useful. I'm going to throw them in my handbag, never know when they might come in handy. I also got a little sample of the L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Hydra Energetic Daily Moisturizer, which I'm giving away to Simon! :-)

GLOSSYBOX CHRISTMAS LIMITED EDITION BOX

I have been taking a little break from Glossybox, because I haven't been very happy with some of the boxes that I have received from them in the past. Now that it's a brand new year, I thought that I would give them another chance. It seems like they have been stepping up their game lately, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's inside the next boxes. Hopefully they are going to be amazing! :-)

Every now and then, Glossybox comes out with a limited edition box filled with only full sized products. This is one of their limited edition boxes, which was released right before Christmas. It's filled with 6 full sized beauty products, valued at over 1100NOK ($143). I only paid around $36, which is a total steal and such a good deal.

Let's take a closer look at the products inside the box! :-)

♥ uslu airlines Nail Polish in XMS, HERE
♥ Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow Duo in Tinsel, HERE
♥ Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter in Berry, HERE.

I'm not familiar with any of these products or brands, so I'm definitely excited to test them out and see what I think about them. It's always fun to try out new products from brands that I haven't heard much about, don't you think so too? Everything in this box looks nice, but I'm most excited to try out the -417 Cleansing Gel, Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter and the uslu airlines nail polish. They look so lovely and they sound like products that I'm going to enjoy and love using! :-)

 ♥ December Glossybox.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray, HERE
♥ Make Up Store Nail Polish in William, HERE
♥ Burt's Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm With Acai Berry, HERE
♥ Bellapierre Cosmetic Glitter in Spectra, HERE
♥ Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, HERE

I have also added a photo of the items that I received in my December box. I thought that I would include them in this post, instead of doing a whole new post dedicated only to the December box! :-)

Anyway, there were some really lovely items in the December box! The Burt's Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm was the first product I noticed when I opened up the box and I couldn't be more happy with it, I have been wanting to try it out for ages now. The Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat was also part of the December box. It's one of my favorite top coats, I just wish that the bottle was bigger though! The L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray is a lovely product! I have the big bottle in my bathroom cabinet and I really like it. It's great for keeping my hair in place, without making it feel stiff or greasy. I really like the size of this one, perfect to travel with or for keeping in your daily makeup bag in your purse.

I haven't heard much about the brand Bellapierre, but their products do look super lovely. I received one of their cosmetic glitters called Spectra, which can be used on the body and the face. I'm not sure how I'm going to use it yet, any ideas? I also received this beautiful nail polish from Make Up Store called William, a gorgeous mint green. I already have it in my nail polish collection, so I might do a giveaway if anyone is interested? Let me know in the comments down below! :-)

Are you subscribed to GlossyBox? What did you receive in your December box? Have you ordered any limited edition boxes from them before? :-)

GLOSSYBOX: OCTOBER 2013

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you doing today? How is your week going? Are you looking forward to the weekend? My October GlossyBox arrived a few days ago, so I thought I would show you the items that I received in my box. The October GlossyBox was put together by Mari Midtstigen, which is the editor for a Norwegian magazine called DET NYE :-)

Products I received in my October box:
Matrix Exquisite Oil - HERE.
MATRIX Biolage Colorcaretherapie Shine Shake - HERE.
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Optimizing Skin Serum - HERE.
Oriflame Volume Build Mascara - HERE.
FNUG Nail Polish in Flower Power - HERE.
Trind Nail Repair - HERE

There are definitely some goodies in the October box. One off the items that I'm very excited to try out is the FNUG nail polish in Flower Power. I have heard great things about this brand and the color is just right up my alley. I have been really into darker nail polishes lately, there is just something about them that I love!

I'm also looking forward to trying out the Oriflame Volume Build Mascara. I've never tried any makeup products by Oriflame before, so that's definitely going to be interesting. It's always fun to try out new products.

I don't really care much for all the hair stuff that's in the box, but I do look forward to trying out the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Optimizing Skin Serum. It's always fun to test out new skin care products and Elizabeth Arden is a brand that I have heard great things about :-)

GLOSSYBOX: SEPTEMBER 2013

♥ GlossyBox: September 2013.

Hey Everyone :-)
Hope you are doing great. My GlossyBox for the month of September arrived a few days ago, so I wanted to get this post up and share the items that I received. I'm actually a little disappointed in this box. It didn't quite add up to some of the previous boxes that I have received, but I guess you can't win them all, huh? Let me know if you have tried out any of the products down below :-)

Products I received in my September box:
♥ Weleda Millet Nourishing Shampoo - HERE.
♥ Da Vinci Mineral Shimmer in Lava - HERE.
♥ Trind Nail Balsam - HERE.
♥ Bellapierre Lipstick in Ruby - HERE.
♥ Océane Make Up Remover Pen - HERE

The items that I'm most excited to try out is definitely the Trind Nail Balsam and the Bellapierre lipstick. My nails have been so dry lately, so I'm hoping that the nail balsam will help keep them nice and hydrated. The lipstick looks very pretty and it smells like some kind of yummy dessert, which makes me want to eat it, LOL. I have never been a big fan of red lipsticks because it's a color that scares me, but I will definitely be giving it a chance and see how I like it. I can always sheer it out and make it a little more wearable for me :-)

They also included two movie gift cards in the box, which I'm very excited about. I'm a total movie junkie, so I know for sure that this is something that I'm going to enjoy. I have been wanting to see The Great Gatsby since it came out in theaters, so that's definitely something that I'm looking to doing. Love me some Leo DiCaprio, LOL :-)

A monthly subscription box costs 179NOK/$21, and you receive 5-6 beauty products :-)

Now, let's jump right into the fun stuff! :-)

♥ Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me - HERE

I'm very pleased with the items that I received in my August GlossyBox. The Model Co Bronzed Goddess Eyeshadow Duo looks beautiful, it's definitely one of my favorite items in this box. I'm a neutral eyeshadow kind of girl, so I couldn't be more happy with the shades that I received. I have already worn the Elizabeth Arden Untold EDP perfume, and I like it so far. It's got a very nice and floral scent and it's a little strong too, so you don't need much :-)

Overall, I'm very happy with the August GlossyBox, and I can't wait to try out all the products. Be sure to let me know in the comments down below, if there are any products you would like to see featured in a review :-)

GlossyBox: July 2013

♥ GlossyBox: July 2013.

Hey Everyone :-)
I'm back with a brand new GlossyBox post for you guys today, and this time I'm sharing the products I received in my July box. If you don't know what GlossyBox is, it's basically an online subscription service that has fast become a favorite of beauty addicts worldwide. When you sign up, you get to fill out a beauty profile and the products are then selected by their beauty experts to suit you. A monthly subscription box costs 179NOK/$21, and you receive 5-6 beauty products :-)

Now, let's jump into the good stuff :-)

Products I received in my July box:
♥ Wen Cleansing Conditioner - HERE.
♥ Emite Make-Up Eyeshadow Primer - HERE.
♥ Être Belle Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask - HERE.
♥ Nails Inc Brook Street Nail Polish - HERE.
♥ Beautybird Fly High Active Foot Gel - HERE

There are definitely some great items in the July box, but compared to some of the previous boxes that I have received from GlossyBox, I have to say that I'm a little disappointed in this box. I love the design of the July box, isn't it pretty? I think it's really cute and it screams summer. I really like that GlossyBox is changing up their packaging, instead of just doing the regular pink boxes.

The products that I'm most excited about trying out, is definitely the eyeshadow primer from Emite Make-Up and the Être Belle Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask. I'm also curious about the Brook Street nail polish from Nails Inc. Nails Inc is a brand that I have been wanting to try out for quite some time now, so I'm very happy that they included one of their shades in the July box. Brook Street is a very soft and pretty pinky coral nail polish, which is a perfect shade for the summer :-)

If you love trying out new beauty products, GlossyBox is perfect for you. It's a fun way to try out new products and new brands, and maybe find new favorite products as well. You can check out GlossyBoxNO HERE :-)

I'm very pleased with the items that I received in my June box, especially the Color Club nail polish called Age Of Aquarius and the Emite Make-Up eye lash curler. Color Club is a brand that I have been wanting to try out for a while now, and I couldn't be more happy with the shade that I received. It's such a nice and pretty summer shade, and I can't wait to try it out. I have also been searching for a new eye lash curler, since the one that I'm currently using is old and needs to be replaced. I was so happy to find this lovely eye lash curler by Emite Make-Up in my box, it's actually worth more than the entire box itself which is pretty awesome.

How pretty is the design of the June box? I absolutely love it, what do you guys think? Do you like it? I don't want to throw it away, so I'm going to use it for storage. I haven't decided what I want to use it for yet, any ideas? :-)

Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream: Review, Photos & Swatches

♥ Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream.

Description:
Delicately scented with grapefruit and coriander, this hand cream sinks in quickly, leaving skin well nourished. This little tube of Cowshed's signature Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream is sure to protect your hooves and restore softness. With essential oils of grapefruit to tone and coriander to stimulate circulation, this refreshing cream will leave your hands soft and smooth, all the while fitting neatly in your handbag.

♥ Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream.

My Thoughts:
I love how moisturizing this hand cream is, and how soft and smooth my hands feel after using it. It absorbs rather quickly into my skin, but it does feel a little oily afterwards which I'm not the biggest fan of. After it has absorbed into the skin, the oiliness will disappear.

It's got a very fresh and clean scent, which I really like. Simon thinks the scent is too strong, but I actually like it. The scent is a little strong at first, but it will get softer once it has absorbed into the skin. Cowshed's formulations are suitable for vegetarians and contain no animal products except organic beeswax and wild flower honey.

♥ Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream.

The Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream come in a black tube with a white flower design, which I think looks very beautiful and girly. I also love the size of the tube. It's very small and handy, and it makes a great little companion for your handbag :-)

I'm so happy that I received this lovely hand cream in my April GlossyBox, because I don't think I would have discovered it otherwise. You can check out GlossyBox HERE.
