MONTHLY FAVORITES: OCTOBER 2014

November is creeping up on us, which means that it's time to share the products that I have been loving and reaching for a lot during the month of October. I have been enjoying quite a few products this month and I'm so excited to be able to share them with you guys in today's little beauty post! :-)

♥ My Monthly Favorites: October 2014.

♥ Stila Cosmetics One Step Correct Primer, HERE.

One Step Correct by Stila Cosmetics has once again made it into my monthly favorites. I have been reaching for it non stop during the month October, so I figured I would give it another shoutout. If you're not familiar with this lovely little product from Stila Cosmetics, it's a color-corrector, brightener and anti-aging skincare serum primer. It contains 3 color-correcting brighteners. A green tone which instantly neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes, a lavender tone which counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look and a peach tone which brightens, illuminates and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots.

It looks very pretty and flawless on the skin. It gives you that glow from within look, which I'm loving at the moment. The primer feels very hydrating and moisturizing on the skin, so it's a great little product if you have dry skin! :-)

♥ Fullips Pucker Up Lip Plumper in Nude Beige, HERE

A lip product that I have been loving this month is the Fullips Pucker Up Lip Plumper in Nude Beige. It has a mineral based formula, which is enriched with Vitamin-E, contain menthol for a natural plumper and a light vanilla flavor. It has a very smooth and soft texture, which feels amazing on the lips. It doesn't feel sticky, which is one of the main reasons why I'm obsessed with it.

It's definitely one of the most comfortable lip products that I have worn on my lips. It's a lip plumper, which means that it's going to plump up your lips and make them look a little more pouty and delisious. It's does string the lips a little. It doesn't hurt, but you can definitely feel it on your lips! :-)

♥ bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara, HERE

The Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara by bare Minerals has been my favorite and go-to mascara for the entire month of October. It was part of the Lash Stash To Go set, which I ordered from Sephora a while ago. The formula isn't too wet nor too dry, just the way I like it. It gives my lashes nice length and much needed volume without making them stick together or look clumpy.

I already have a backup of this mascara in my beauty stash, which I will be opening up as soon as I'm done with this tube! :-)

♥ Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black, HERE

The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara has been another mascara favorite of mine this month. I love how easy it is to apply and that it doesn't make my lower eye lashes clump together and feel stiff and uncomfortable. It's got a tiny little brush, which make the entire application so easy to control and it comes right of with a waterproof makeup remover! :-)

 ♥ MAC Cosmetics Fix+, HERE

I like to use MAC Cosmetics's Fix+  to refresh my face and keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. I like to use it before and after I have applied my makeup. It's great because it doesn't ruin my makeup and it keeps it looking nice and fresh during the day. It's not going to make your makeup last longer though, so just keep that in mind. If you are looking for a really good makeup setting spray, the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is the bomb! :-)

♥ Favorite Movie Of The Month: Edge Of Tomorrow! Photo Source, HERE

Edge Of Tomorrow is a brand new Sci-Fi movie starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The movie is about a military officer who is brought into an alien war against an extraterrestrial enemy who can reset the day and know the future. He is enabled with the same power and teams up with a Special Forces warrior to try and end the war.

The movie is very well made. It didn't have a single boring minute and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way though to the end. If you love Sci-Fi movies, you should add this one to you're watch list! :-)

What beauty products have you been loving for the month of October? Have you watched any cool movies or TV shows lately? Have you seen Edge Of Tomorrow yet? What did you think about it? :-) Love, Christine♥

MONTHLY FAVORITES: SEPTEMBER 2014

Happy Monday! How are you guys doing today? It's almost October, which means that it's time for a brand new monthly favorites post. September has been a good month. When it comes to beauty products I have been sticking to a lot of the same products as I showed you in my previous favorites post, but I do have a couple of new items that I have been reaching for a lot during the month of September.

Like always, I have included a couple of personal favorites too such as a fashion favorite and a TV show that both Simon and I have been loving! :-)

 ♥ My September Favorites.

♥ Stila Cosmetics One Step Correct Primer, HERE.

One Step Correct by Stila Cosmetics is a color-corrector, brightener and anti-aging skincare serum primer. It contains 3 color-correcting brighteners. Green tone which instantly neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes, a lavender tone which counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look and a peach tone which brightens, illuminates and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots.

It looks very pretty and flawless on the skin. It covers skin imperfections very well and it also gives you the glow from within look. It makes the foundation go on a lot smoother, because of the even texture that it creates on the skin. It feels very hydrating and moisturizing on the skin, so it's definitely a great primer for people with dry skin.

♥ Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray, HERE.

I'm head over heels in love with the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray. It holds my makeup in place while making it look nice and fresh thoughout the day. This is the travel size bottle, which is part of the Sephora Favorites Summerstash set that I ordered from Sephora a while ago. The set is still available online at Sephora's website if you are interested in checking it out. You can find it HERE! :-)

This is the best makeup setting spray that I have tried so far, definitely worth checking out if you are looking for one to try out. I don't have a lot left in the bottle, so I need to order myself a new one ASAP! :-)

♥ Makeup Revolution Lip Geek Lipstick in Totally NOT Boring! HERE

Makeup Revolution's Lip Geek Lipstick in Totally NOT Boring is a pretty deep pinky purple with a cream finish. It's got a nice and creamy texture, which glides on the lips perfectly. Since it's got a very creamy and buttery texture, it only last about 2-3 hours on my lips before I need to re-apply it. I normally don't wear lipstick for more than a couple of hours at a time, so that doesn't really bother me.

The Lip Geek Lipsticks from Makeup Revolution are only £2.99 each, so they are definitely worth checking out if you want good quality but still affordable at the same time. I reviewed the entire Lip Geek Lipstick range from Makeup Revolution a while ago. If you missed that post, you can check it out HERE! :-)

♥ Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black, HERE.

The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black has been a big favorite of mine for a while now. I have been using it for the entire month of September and I just can't get enough of it. The brush is quite small, which gives you a lot of control over the application. It's not messy to apply nor does it make my lashes feel stiff or look clumpy. It's also easy to remove with a waterproof makeup remover! :-)

♥ Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 12L, HERE

The Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 12L is a creamy, long lasting eye liner. 12L is a beautiful, blue with green highlights which makes the eyes really pop and stand out. It last a while on the waterline before it fades away and needs to be re-applied. Before I apply any eye liner, I like to take a cotton swab and run it along my waterline to remove any dirt and oils. I feel like that prevents the eye liner from fading away too soon.

For the past couple of months I have been obsessed with wearing this eye liner on my waterline. I love how it looks paired with a bronzed eye, it just compliments it so well. There are some serious stunning shades in the Aqua Eyes range, I definitely want to try out some more shades now! :-)

♥ Fashion Favorite: Handbag from Zara.

Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with handbags, especially large handbags. This beauty from Zara has been my go-to bag ever since I ordered it from their website a while ago. I love handbags that are big in size, because I usually like to carry my entire life with me in my bag, ha ha. I'm sure most of you girls can relate to this! :-)

This bag may look a little small to you, but it can actually fit a lot of things in it which makes it the perfect every day bag for me. Unfortunately this bag isn't available at Zara anymore, but they do have a bunch of other bags that are just as gorgeous and awesome as this one. You can check out their entire collection of bags HERE! :-)

♥ Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad - Photo Source HERE

Breaking Bad is one of my all time favorite TV shows. Simon surprised me the complete box set a couple of weeks ago, which made me want to watch it all over again. He haven't seen the show before, so we decided to watch it together. We just started watching season 3, which is one of the best seasons in my opinion.

If you're not familiar with the show, it's about a high school chemistry teacher who turns to a life of crime in order to provide for his family's future. The show is so well done and all the actors are fantastic! I highly recommend that you check it out on Netflix if you haven't watched it yet. It's very additive though, so don't blame me if you can't stop watching it! :-)

Disclaimer:
The Makeup Revolution Lip Geek Lipstick was sent to me by Makeup Revolution for review purposes only. No payment was received for this review. My reviews are based on my personal opinions and experience using the item(s). All opinions are my own and 100% honest.

What beauty product(s) have you been loving for the month of September? Have you seen Breaking Bad? Do you like it? What TV shows are you currently watching? :-) Love, Christine♥

MY MONTHLY FAVORITES: JANUARY 2014

♥ Monthly Favorites: January 2014.

Happy Monday lovelies, how are you all doing today? Did you have a nice weekend? Simon and I saw the movie The Wolf of Wall Street on Saturday, which was freaking fantastic. Have you guys seen it yet? I highly recommend that you go and check it out if you haven't seen it. I love Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor and this was one off his best performances, if not the best! Totally worth checking out :-)

Anyway, another month has passed, can you believe it? I haven't done a monthly favorites post in a while now, so I'm excited to share my favorites with you. I don't have too many beauty products to share with you, but there are still some really great items here. So without further ado, here are the items that I have been loving for the month off January! :-)

♥ L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Base Pure Light Primer.

I have been using the L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Base Pure Light Primer every single day during the month off January. I like to mix it with my BB cream or foundation, it gives my skin such a pretty and natural looking glow. It can also be applied like a regular primer before foundation, but I find mixing them together is a lot easier and less messy as well. If you love glowy looking skin, you might want to check out this product! :-)

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette & Clinique Color Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Like Mink.

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette & Clinique Color Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Like Mink.

My go-to eyeshadows for the month off January has been the Naked Basics Palette by Urban Decay, and the Color Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Like Mink by Clinique. The Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette is such a nice and handly little palette, perfect for creating quick and easy neutral eye looks. The Clinique Color Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Like Mink is a pretty little duo, which I have been taking with me on vacation trips a lot. It's quick, easy and it doesn't take up much room in your makeup bag! :-)

♥ Milani Cosmetics Baked Blush in Luminoso.

The baked blushes by Milani Cosmetics are some off my favorite blushes on the beauty market. They are so pretty and I love how pigmented they all are (a little goes a long way with these). They don't have the biggest shade selection, but the shades that they do have are gorgeous. Luminoso is a pretty peach with shimmer. It's really easy to blend and it gives the skin such a pretty glow. If you haven't tried out Milani's baked blushes yet, I highly recommend that you give them a go. Berry Amore, Dolce Pink and Luminoso are my favorites! :-)

♥ Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate lipstick in 08 Rossetto.

The Rimmel London Lasting Finish by Kate lipstick in 08 Rossetto has been my favorite lipstick for the month off January. It's easy to apply and it feels very creamy and moisturizing on the lips. My lips have been awfully dry lately due to the cold weather, so I'm trying to keep my lips as hydrated as I can. I'm very pleased with this lipstick, and I'm very curious about trying out a few off the other shades in the range! :-)

♥ TV Show: Sons Of Anarchy. Photo Source, HERE

A non beauty favorite this month has been the TV show Sons of Anarchy. I'm on season 5 at the moment, and it just keeps getting better and better. It's about a guy who struggles to find a balance in his life between being a new dad and being involved in a motorcycle club.

The show is really addicting, so you won't be able to stop watching it, LOL! Let me know if you decide to check it out, would love to hear what you think about it. If you are keeping up with the show, who is your favorite character? I love Jax, Tig and Tara! :-)

Which products have you been loving for the month off January? What TV shows are you currently watching? Any favorites? :-) Love, Christine♥

EBAY BEAUTY HAUL: NARS, SLEEK MAKEUP, OPI, FORMULA X FOR SEPHORA, CLINIQUE & SENSATIONAIL

Hey Everyone :-)
How are you doing today? How is your day going so far? Today's post is going to be a little eBay beauty haul. As I mentioned in my Cherry Culture beauty haul, Simon and I recently had our 6 year anniversary. He surprised me with a little money treat, which I could use on whatever I wanted. I placed an order on Cherry Culture (you can check out my haul post HERE), and I also picked up a few goodies from eBay as well! :-)

♥ NARS Ita Kabuki Brush.

I picked up the NARS Ita Kabuki Brush, which I'm super excited about trying out. I have heard so many wonderful things about this brush, and I can't wait to finally test it out. I'm not sure if it's authentic or fake, but the people who bought and left their feedback on it said that it was an authentic brush. It was only AU $15.99 (92NOK), which I think is a good deal. Authentic or not, I know I will get some good use out off it! :-)

♥ OPI No Spain No Gain & OPI Lincoln Park At Midnight.

I also picked up two new nail polishes from OPI, No Spain No Gain and Lincoln Park At Midnight. Both shades look beautiful, and I'm looking forward to trying them out. Let me know if you would me to feature one off these shades in an upcoming ''Swatch Of The Week'' post! :-)

♥ Formula X For Sephora Nail Polishes in Thrilling, Bionic & Rocket Fuel.

♥ Formula X For Sephora Nail Polishes in Thrilling, Bionic & Rocket Fuel.

I also picked up the Formula X For Sephora nail polishes in Thrilling and Bionic. These nail polishes have been getting a lot off love lately. They have a really good selection off shades and finishes to choose from, I already have my eye on a bunch off shades from their nail polish range. I swatched Thrilling in one off my recent ''Swatch Of The Week'' posts, which you can check out HERE! :-)

The seller also included the shade Rocket Fuel as a little treat, which I thought was a really sweet thing to do. You can check out the seller HERE! :-)

♥ Sleek MakeUP Blush in Rose Gold.

♥ Sleek MakeUP Blush in Rose Gold.

♥ Sleek MakeUP Blush in Pomegranate.

♥ Sleek MakeUP Blush in Pomegranate.

I picked up two blushes from Sleek MakeUp, which happens to be my very first blushes from this brand. I have heard so many wonderful things about them, so I figured I needed to try them out. I ordered these from Cloud 10 Beauty, along with the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar. I'm really looking forward to trying these out, they do look quite beautiful in their little packaging! :-)

♥ Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara & Lash Doubling Mascara.

After hearing wonderful things about the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, I decided to order one and try it out for myself. I have played around with it a few times already, and so far I really like it. The eBay seller (link to the seller HERE) also included a sample off the Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara, which I thought was a really nice gesture. Looking forward to trying out that one as well!

♥ SensatioNail Color Gel Polishes French Manicure in Sheer Pink & Sugar Plum.

The last two items that I picked up are the two SensatioNail Color Gel Polishes in Sugar Plum and French Manicure in Sheer Pink (also called Babydoll Pink). I have been wanting to try out their french manicure for a while now, excited to finally give it a go. I think I'm going to try it out for Christmas, haven't worn a french manicure in years! :-)

Have you bought any new beauty products lately? Have you tried out any off the items that I picked up? :-) Love, Christine♥
