Haul Post: OPI Nicki Minaj Collection, Essie & Naked 2 Palette

My package from Beautybay finally arrived today. The main reason for placing an order on Beautybay was because I wanted to pick up the Naked 2 palette for one of my upcoming giveaways. I also picked up some extra goodies for myself as well, I just cant help myself when it comes to shopping, haha. Lady Like is a gorgeous muted lilac toned pink with a cream finish. This nail polish has been on my nail polish wishlist for quite some time, Im so happy its finally mine :) You can find Lady Like here.

Haute As Hello is a beautiful neon coral/orange color. This color has been recommended to me so I just had to pick it up and give it a try. This looks like the perfect neon coral/orange nail polish for the summer time, what do you think? :) You can find Haute As Hello here.

♥ L-R: Did It On Em, Fly, Pink Friday & Metallic 4 Life.

After seeing swatches of the OPI Nicki Minaj Collection, I just had to pick up this cute set with 4 of the colors from the collection. I cant wait to play around with these, all the colors look so pretty. How cool would Metallic 4 Life look on top of another nail polish? Ahhhh, I cant wait to try that out :)

I like Nicki, I think she stands out from most artists today which makes her unique in my eyes. I also think her voice is pretty cool, what do you think about Nicki? :) You can find the OPI Nicki Minaj Mini Collection here.

I absolutely love my Naked 2 palette, its probably my favorite eyeshadow palette at the moment. Since I love it so much, I ordered one for an upcoming giveaway here on Makeup, Beauty & Fashion. Im so happy it arrived safe and sound because mine was broken when I recieved it which sucks! Essie Sugar Daddy, Too Too Hot, Bachelorette Bash & Bahama Mama: Review, Photos & Swatches

Essie is one of my all time favorite nail polish brands and I recently got sent 4 nail polishes to try out. I really like the formula that the Essie nail polishes have and most of the shades that I have tried have been opaque after just a few coats :)

Essie is a brand that haven't been available in Norway until now! Their nail polishes is finally available here which I think is really cool. For those of you who live in Norway, Essie can be found at Vita, Kicks, H&M and Cubus :)

Sugar Daddy is a beautiful sheer, creamy and classic pink. I like this nail polish a lot because it makes my nails look very pretty, natural, clean and fresh. Sugar Daddy is easy to apply, it dont streak and its perfect for a french manicures. I applied 4 coats and you can still see that its not that opaque, so if your not into sheer nail polishes, this one is not for you. I think Sugar Daddy is from the 2004 Spring Collection, please correct me if Im wrong :)

♥ Bachelorette Bash.

Bachelorette Bash is a creamy magenta color. Its very bright and has a beautiful glossy finish. The color payoff is really nice, not streaky and I only needed 2 coats to make it opaque. This is going to be so pretty during the summer time, what do you guys think? :) Bachelorette Bash is from the Anniversary Collection.

♥ Too Too Hot.

Too Too Hot is a gorgeous, bright red-coral color. This was almost opaque after just one coat which I really like and its not streaky either. Since I like my nail polishes to be as opaque as possible, I applied 2 coats. Its definitely a fun and bright nail polish that is going to be so fun for spring and summer. Too Too Hot is from the Braziliant Collection.

♥ Bahama Mama.

Bahama Mama is a creamy, deep plum color. It is a very pretty and glossy nail polish but I don't like this one as much as I like the other shades. It applied streaky and it took 3 thick coats to look opaque. Bahama Mama is from the ''Its Better in The Bahamas'' Collection.

I really like these nail polishes from Essie, they are so pretty! My favorites are Sugar Daddy and Bachelorette Bash. Too Too Hot and Bahama Mama stained my nails a little so thats why they dont get 5/5 lipstick kisses from me, but the colors are still very beautiful. Bahama Mama is the only shade that I wont be buying because I found it difficult to work with.

My February Favorites

March has just arrived and that means that it's finally time to share the products that I have been loving for the month of February. I just love these favorites posts, they are such a great way to discover new products, dont you agree? :)

Here are the 8 products that I have been loving a lot lately :)

♥ The Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay.

The Naked 2 palette has been my ''go to'' palette for the whole month of February. Its such a great product and it has the perfect eyeshadows for creating neutral makeup looks. I have been using Foxy all over the lids with Tease in the crease, love it. Its a perfect look for the days that you dont have much time to do your makeup :)

♥ Volumizing Mascara by Mally Beauty.

I have been using this Mally Beauty Mascara for a while now and I really like it. Im planning on doing a review of this product soon :)

♥ Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee.

The Lip Butters from Revlon has taken the beauty community with storm and I definitely understand why. They are just like lipbalms but with the pigmentation of a lipstick and the shine of a lipgloss. They are really moisturizing and the color payoff is really good :)

♥ Benefit Erase Paste.

I feel like this concealer is truly a lifesaver when it comes to covering up dark under eye circles. It really brighten up the eyes and makes you look more awake but its thick so just remember to apply a little at a time to prevent it from looking cakey :)

♥ Revlon Nail Polish in Sheer Rose.

Im in love with this rosy/pinky nude nail polish with silver shimmers, its gorgeous. You can read more about this nail polish in my review, here. Its my only nail polish from Revlon so if you have any favorites, please leave them in the comments below because I really want to try more :)

♥ Leopard Roll Bag by Too Faced.

I love this adorable little makeup bag from Too Faced Cosmetics. I bought it on Ebay about a year ago but you can still find it on their website. Its not big but it fits the most important things which I love. Here is the link to the makeup bag, just in case anyone of you if interested :)

♥ DKNY Golden Delicious.

Golden Delicious is another product that has been my ''go to'' product for the month of February. I just love how it smells. I have a review coming up on this product soon, so stay tuned for that :)

♥ Game: Alice Madness Returns. Photo Credit.

I love my Xbox 360 and Im such a sucker for video games, I think that they are so much fun and some games can be quite time consuming which I love. Alice Madness Returns is a game that I have been enjoying a lot and I absolutely love the dark twist on Alice in Wonderland. This game delves deep into the dark and violent side of the imagination, creating a nightmarish Wonderland :)

Tutorial: How to Create Tuxedo Nails Inspired by Zooey Deschanel

You have probably seen and heard all about Zooey Deschanel's Tuxedo nails that she wore to the 2012 Golden Globes which took place in January. I think Zooey rocked the Tuxedo nails and its has become a big beauty trend already :)

I have seen a few beauty bloggers and Youtube Gurus share their Tuxedo nails so that's what inspired me to do this post. I hope you like this fun nail art tutorial and if you have any nail design ideas for upcoming tutorials, please feel free to share them with me and everyone else in the comment section below :)

Products you are going to need to create this look:
♥ A Base Coat.
♥ A Black and White nail polish
♥ Dotting Tool, Nail Art Striper or a Toothpick.
♥ Top Coat

How to Create the Tuxedo Nails:

1. Start by painting your nails with a base coat to protect your nails. When the base coat has dried, paint all of your nails with a white nail polish of your choice.

2. Use a black striper to connect two lines to create the V shape. Remember that it dont have to be perfect because we are going to fill it in with a black nail polish afterwards.

3. Fill in the outside of the V shape with any black nail polish of your choice. I just used my Art Deco Striper in Black but you can also use a toothpick or a dotting tool.

4. Use your striper to create an X for the bow tie. Then finish the bow tie by using either a dotting tool, a nail polish striper or a toothpick and dip it into the black nail polish and create the bow.

5. Use your dotting tool and add two small dots of black nail polish to create the buttons and now your finished. After your design has dried, add a top coat to seal in the design and prevent it from chipping away :)

Here is the final result. Its not perfect and I wish the bows came out better than what they did but that's one of the things I really like about nail art. It dont have to be perfect and the more you practice, the better your design is going to look. This was my first time trying out this design and I think it turned out okay :)

Love at First Glow, NARS Galapagos & Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

CheapSmells is one of my favorite websites at the moment and I recently ordered three products that I want to share with you guys. I have another order on the way with three products from MAC Cosmetics that I got on sale, but I will share them with you when my package arrives :)

♥ Jennifer Lopez - Love at First Glow, 30ml.

My mom surprised me with this perfume for my birthday years ago and when I saw it on CheapSmells, I just had to order it. I absolutely love how this perfume smells. Its very fresh and perfect for everyday use. The perfume also comes with a little phone charm which I think is super cute and it looks adorable as decoration on the perfume bottle. ♥ Macadamia Natural Oil - Deep Repair Masque, 30ml.

I have heard so much about this Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque, everyone seems to love this product a lot. I only ordered the 30ml one just to try it out and see how I like it. Im really excited to try it out :) You can find the Deep Repair Masque here.

♥ NARS Eyeshadow in Galapagos.

Galapagos is a beautiful rich brown eyeshadow with gold flecks. This eyeshadow has been on my wishlist since I saw the lovely Dulce Candy use it in her ''Sparkly Brown Eyes'' Makeup Tutorial on Youtube. When I saw that Galapagos was on sale for only £8 on CheapSmells, I just had to grab it. I cant wait to use this, it looks so beautiful :)

Revlon Nail Polish in Sheer Rose: Review, Photos & Swatches

Sheer Rose is a gorgeous rosy/pinky nude nail polish with silver shimmers and its actually my very first nail polish from Revlon. I thought this was going to be one of those really sheer nail polishes that you would need to apply several coats to make it look opaque but guess what? Its actually opaque after just 2-3 coats, how amazing is that? :)

Sheer Rose has a thinner texture than some of the other nail polishes that I have tried and I didn't experience any bubbles or streaking with this nail polish which I really like. It took 1-3 minutes for the nail polish to dry which is okay :)

Sheer Rose has been on my nails for a couple of days now and it has already started to chip like crazy. When I featured Sheer Rose in my latest Nails Of The Day Post, some of you told me that you had experienced the same thing with this nail polish and other nail polishes by Revlon as well. Since I change my nail polish quite often, I dont mind the chipping. The color is gorgeous and its definitely a color that is worth having in your collection :)

This is a nail polish that is going to suit so many skin tones and if you have a bit of a tan, its going to look even more beaitiful. So if you are looking for a rosy/pinky nude nail polish that is beautiful, not sheer and affordable, give this one a try because you might end up liking it a lot :)

Nails Of The Day: Revlon Sheer Rose

Today Im wearing Sheer Rose by Revlon which was a gift from my beautiful friend Jenn from Imperfection is Beauty. Sheer Rose is a beautiful pinky nude nail polish with silver shimmers and its actually my only nail polish from Revlon.

Being the nail polish addict that I am, Im actually surprised that this is my first Revlon nail polish because their color range is really good and they do have some great dupes for high-end nail polishes. Sheer Rose is definitely one of my favorite pinky nudes in my collection and I dont own anything like this shade :)

I think its really difficult to get a good picture of my nail polish swatches, they always turn out dark and I want them to be lighter and brighter. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how I can improve my swatch pictures, please feel free to share them with me in the comments below. I would love to hear how you guys do it :)

You probably know how much I love and adore Ebay? Online shopping is my thing, I can sit in my chair with a hot cup of chocolate and just browse for hours haha, are you guys like that too or do you prefer to do your shopping at the mall? :)

I wanted to share my latest purchases from Ebay. These are products that I have heard so many good things about and been seeing on different beauty blogs lately as well. When Im reading my favorite beauty blogs or watching youtube videos, I always find products that Im curious about and want to try out for myself. I guess thats the *price* you have to pay for being a beauty blogger? Haha, it can definitely make my wallet cry sometimes! Anyways, here are the products I picked up :)

♥ Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters in Peach Parfait, Pink Truffle, Sweet Tart, Berry Smoothie & Red Velvet.

The Revlon Lip Butters have been one of the most talked about products in the beauty community and for good reason. They are just like lipbalms but with the pigmentation of a lipstick and the shine of a lipgloss. They are really moisturizing and the color payoff is really good.

I have to thank my good friend Jenn from Imperfection is Beauty for getting me hooked on these babies, thank you gorgeous :) Expect to see swatches and a review of these soon :)

♥ Revlon Colorstay Normal/Dry Skin Foundation.

Im really excited to try out this foundation by Revlon. This is the one for Normal/Dry skin but its also available for those of you who have combination/oily skin. Its really good that they have this foundation available for different skin types, its something that I dont see that often :)

♥ Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender.

When I set my foundation, I always use a translucent powder or a setting spray, never a regular face powder because i dont like how it looks on me, it can sometimes look too cakey which I don like.

I bought the Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender which is a clear product that diffuses the look of pores and fine lines and helps your makeup last. It mattifies the face without the dry, ashy look that a powder can give you. Super excited about this product :)

♥ Orange Sticks.

These are the perfect tools for Water Marbling! Before I got these, I tried using a toothpick but I think its too pointy and sharp and it destroys my design and I dont like that at all. These have a sharp and a more softer side. Im going to do a Water Marbling Tutorial soon, so stay tuned for that :)

♥ Hard as Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream.

After hearing wonderful things about the Hard as Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream from PlasmaSpeedo on Youtube, I just had to buy it and give it a try. My nails have been peeling lately so Im hoping that this is going to help. I have been using this for a few days now and my nails seems a little stronger. I will definitely keep you updated on this product and do a review too :)

Sigma Beauty F05, F35 & Dry'N Shape

When it comes to makeup brushes, Sigma Beauty is my favorite brand. The quality of their brushes are fantastic and they are actually pretty affordable compared to other brands that I have tried.

I do own a few high-end brushes and to be honest, I dont use them anymore since I discovered Sigma. I prefer my Sigma brushes because they do the same job as any high-end brushes out there and that just proves that you dont have to go out and buy really expensive brushes to get a flawless makeup application. I dont want to spend that much money on just one brush when I know that Sigma makes brushes that are just as good,if not better and you can get a complete kit for the price of just a few high-end brushes :)

♥ Small Contour - F05.

♥ Tapered Highlighter - F35.

♥ The Dry 'N Shape.

Im so happy that I managed to get my hands on the Small Contour F05 and the Tapered Highlighter F35 brush. They just came back on Sigma's website after being out of stock for quite some time. I have no idea why I haven't picked up these brushes sooner, so happy they are available again. You can find the Small Contour F05 brush here and the Tapered Highlighter F35 brush here.

I have heard so many positive things about the Dry 'N Shape so I finally decided to just pick it up and give it a try. Cleaning my brushes is something that im not a big fan of doing and I get tired of waiting for my brushes to dry so I can use them again. The Dry 'N Shape is supposed to dry and shape the brushes within 4-6 hours. Im super excited about trying out this product and from what I have heard, it lives up to the expectations :) You can find the Dry 'N Shape here.

Benefit Cosmetics: Hervana & Erase Paste [With Swatches]

In the beginning of February, I placed my very first order from Benefit Cosmetics and my package finally arrived today. I have only tried a few of their products and so far Im very impressed with the quality :)

I ordered the the Hervana blush which I have heard wonderful things about and the Erase Paste in Fair. I also got two free samples with my order, the Stay Don't Stray Primer and the Hello Flawless custom powder cover-up with SPF 15. Scroll down below to see swatches of both products :)

♥ When I opened up my package, I completely fell in love with how everything was wrapped up, the wrapping paper is so adorable. Im such a sucker for cute and girly packaging :)

I also got a little book with information about some of Benefit's products and I have already looked through it and found some products that I want to try out. I really want to try more of their blushes because all of them look so pretty. Their products are definitely more on the pricey side and the shipping can be a little expensive, depending on what country you are from so keep that in mind if you are thinking about placing an order :)

Yesterday I went to the mall with my mom to look for a Valentine's Day gift for Simon. Its always so difficult to pick out something for him because he is one of those people that have everything so it can be quite the challenge. But I managed to find something that I think he is going to like a lot :)

My mom and I decided to check out Lindex which is a store we haven't been to in years. Lindex used to be a store that did not appeal to me at all but they have definitely improved a lot and now I can actually find clothes and accessories that I like and want to buy. I checked out their makeup products and guess which brand I saw? Rimmel London!!! Its one of those brands that I have been wanting to try out for the longest time. If I knew that Lindex sold Rimmel London, I would have gone before. Guess who is going to be a regular costumer from now on? Yep you guessed right, its me :)

Product Review: Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream

A good hand cream is something that I always have to have in my handbag. The winters here in Norway are really cold so my hands will get dry and chapped if I dont use one and that can be very painful sometimes.

I picked up the Hand Food Hand Cream by Soap & Glory a while ago and its been my go-to hand cream. It is a non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. I really love how soft and smooth it makes my hands feel and it absorbs so quickly into the skin leaving it non-greasy which I love. Im completely obsessed with the smell of this hand cream. The scent stays on the skin for a long time but its quite powerful so if you dont like that this might not be the right hand cream for you.

This is definitely the best, inexpensive hand cream that I have tried. I have almost used up this tube so I need to head out and pick up another one. This is the 50ml tube which is the smallest one available and its the perfect size for any handbag (same size as my Iphone).

This hand cream also comes in bigger bottles as well. I do have a 250ml bottle sitting in our bathroom which I use after washing my hands, its a life saver for dry hands. Wouldn't it be awesome if Soap & Glory released a body spray that smells just like this hand cream? I would definitely buy it :)

China Glaze: Lemon Fizz, Lighthouse, Heli-Yum & Blue Iguana [Swatches]

One of my favorite nail polish brands is China Glaze. I think that their selection of colors are very good and they are always coming out with collections that are fun and eye catching. I wanted to share swatches of the 4 nail polishes that I got from Krystal. I was super lucky to win her giveaway right before Christmas. These are my newest China Glaze polishes in my collection and they are all so pretty :)

♥ L-R: Lemon Fizz, Lighthouse, Heli-Yum & Blue Iguana.

♥ Lemon Fizz.

Lemon Fizz is a beautiful pastel yellow that is soft and bright at the same time. This is my favorite yellow nail polish for spring and summer and I really like how it looks with my light skin tone. It was streaky on the first coat but after applying a thicker second coat it looked much better. Its such a beautiful and creamy nail polish and this is one that I already have in my collection. Lemon Fizz is from the Up & Away Collection.

♥ Lighthouse.

Lighthouse is a bright, sunshine yellow gold with flecks of metallic gold sparkle. I dont have anything like this shade in my collection which Im really happy about. The formula is a little thin so definitely apply a few coats to make it as opaque as possible. Lighthouse is from the Anchors Away Collection.

♥ Heli-Yum.

Heli-Yum is a vibrant, deeply pigmented raspberry pinky-red. This nail polish is extremely pigmented so you can easily get away with just one coat on your nails. I used 2 coats as usual just because thats what I prefer. Heli-Yum is also from the Up & Away Collection.

♥ Blue Iguana.

Blue Iguana is a gorgeous electric blue with blue and fuchsia micro-glitters. I really like this one a lot, its very beautiful but just be careful not to get a lot on your skin because its very difficult to remove. I tried removing it with soap and even nail polish remover but it was hard. Blue Iguana is from the Island Escape Collection.

My Nail Polish Storage [Updated Post]

Im always coming up with different ideas on how to store my nail polishes! I have always had a thing for those nail polish racks that you can hang up on the wall because it looks really neat and its easy to see which nail polishes you actually have in your collection. If you are interested in seeing how I used to store my nail polishes, here is the link to that post :)

Since the acrylic nail polish racks on Ebay were crazy expensive to get shipped to Norway, I looked for another solution to my *little problem* I came across these really cool wall racks in a Norwegian store called Skeidar! I immidately saw potential in them so I decided to pick up 5. These racks are 80 cm long which is just perfect for a nail polish addict like myself. What I really like about these racks is that you can fit two rows of nail polishes on each rack, how amazing is that? I currently have 94 nail polishes on these racks and I can still fit many more on each rack. I only keep the nail polishes that I collect on the racks and keep the more random nail polishes in storage boxes.

Maybelline New York, Marc Jacobs, Beauty Blender & Blender Cleanser

Yesterday my mom came by to visit me and we decided to go for a last minute shopping trip together. I picked up three products that Im very excited to share with you guys, one being a product that I have been wanting to try out for the longest time :)

I have also been trying to get my hands on a pair of royal blue pants because I have been obsessing over them for quite some time now. I went by every store yesterday to see if they had any left in my size but they didn't, so I ended up ordering a pair from Ebay! Hopefully they will fit *keeping my fingers crossed* Haha! Here are the products that I picked up :)

♥ Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eraser Foundation. Im always on the hunt for new foundations to try out and this is one that Im very excited to try out. I really liked how it felt on my hand when I swatched it in the store, it also has SPF 18 which is perfect.

♥ The Beauty Blender. This is a product that I have been wanting to try out for such a long time. I finally picked it up after hearing so many positive things about it. Im excited to see how it works and how my foundation is going to look compared to my F80 brush by Sigma which I absolutely love.

♥ Blender Cleanser. Its very important to clean and take care of your beauty blender so I picked up this blender cleanser as well. It can also be used to clean makeup brushes.

♥ Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh perfume sample. I absolutely love receiving perfume samples, they are great for trying out new perfumes before going out and spending money on a big bottle. I have never tried any of the perfumes by Marc Jacobs so this is my first one :)

My January Favorites

I cant believe that the first month of this year has already passed by, can you? Its finally time to share the products that I have been loving for the month of January! I hope you enjoy my post and please feel free to share your link if you have done a January favorites post, I would love to see it :)

♥ DKNY Golden Delicious. This perfume has been my signature scent for the whole month of January. I absolutely love how good it smells and its perfect for everyday.

♥ EOS Lipbalm in Strawberry Sorbet. A good lipbalm is something that I always have to carry with me in my handbag and Strawberry Sorbet is one that I have been loving a lot lately. The winters in Norway are cold so the EOS lipbalms are a must have for me.

♥ MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. This is my favorite highlighter at the moment. It gives such a beautiful and natural glow to the face, I love it.

♥ Maybelline New York Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad in Trendy Taupe. I have been loving the crease color in this quad a lot for the month of January. I pair it with Bare Study Paint Pot from MAC and its such an easy makeup look thats perfect for everyday. If you are having one of those days were you have no idea which makeup look to go for, this is a great combination :)

♥ Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore. This has to be my favorite blush from Milani! Its gorgeous and highly pigmented. This blush gives such a beautiful flush of color to the face. You can easily build up this blush and make it as opaque as you want, just be a little careful because its very pigmented.

♥ MAC Eyeshadow in All That Glitters. This is an eyeshadow that I have featured in a few of my monthly favorites. This is one of my favorite eyeshadows from MAC, its really beautiful and Im actually wearing it today. This is one of those eyeshadows that looks gorgeous with just some eyeliner and mascara, easy look for those days that you dont have much time to do your makeup.

♥ MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study. I can't tell you how much I love this product. On those days that I dont know what to wear on my eyes, this is the product I turn to. Its perfect alone or as a base for your eyeshadows. I use this all the time with just some eyeliner and mascara and then Im good to go.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Lipstick in Fairest Nude. This is probably my all time favorite nude lipstick. Its so beautiful and its one of those nude lipsticks that look good on everyone. I think that this brings life to the face, its definitely a must have lipstick in my opinion :)

♥ L.A. Girl Lipstick in Forbidden Love. I have also been loving this lipstick by L.A. Girl. Its another nude lipstick that is quite similar to Fairest Nude by L'Oreal Paris. Forbidden Love is a shade darker than Fairest Nude but its still gorgeous and a total must have color. Its only $1.99 at Miz Outlet, how amazing is that? :)

♥ Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Nude Lustre. These are my favorite lipglosses because they feel so moisturizing on the lips and they are non-sticky which is a must in my book. I can't stand sticky lipglosses, I hate it when it sticks to my hair and I get lipgloss lines on my face*ugh* not cute :)

♥ Elf Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow Primer. This is one of my favorite eyeshadow primers, its amazing and it really makes the eyeshadow stay put all day. I think that this is a perfect dupe for the Urban Decay Primer Potion and its only $3.

♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer. This is a primer that I have been using for quite some time now and I really love it. It smells really good and it feels just like a moisturizer which I really like. Definitely a product that I would recommend, Korres makes amazing products :)

♥ Sigma Precision Round - P82. I absolutely love this brush by Sigma Beauty. I use this to apply my eyeshadow primers and my MAC Paint Pots and it works amazingly for that. Definitely one of my favorite brushes from Sigma :)

♥ I also have a non-beauty related product that I have been loving for the month of January and that is Temple Run. If your not familiar with Temple Run, its basically a treasure hunting adventure game which is very addicting. I can play this game for hours and still be completely obsessed with it, I love it! Im always trying to beat my high score haha! You can download Temple Run for free at the Iphone App Store :)

NARS Eyeshadows in Night Sun & California [Swatches]

Im really excited about Night Sun and California because they are my very first eyeshadows by NARS. I only own a few products from this brand but I have never tried their eyeshadows before.

Night Sun is a beautiful yellowish gold while California is lovely copper shadow. California would look great as either an eyeliner or paired with a pretty brown or bronze shadow. Night Sun is perfect to use to highlight the inner corners of the eyes. These shades look beautiful together or alone. Night Sun and California have great color payoff but California is much more pigmented compared to Night Sun, so definitely remember to use a
light hand with this shadow :)

Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette [Swatches]

When it comes to eyeshadows, Urban Decay is a big favorite of mine. I have never been disappointed in the quality and pigmentation of their eyeshadows, they are just perfect in my book :)

The Rollergirl palette by Urban Decay is a gorgeous little palette that comes with 4 eyeshadows, a 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and a Lip Junkie Lipgloss. I wanted to share the swatches with all of you because I have fallen in love with this cute little palette :)

Zoya True Collection - Bevin & Skylar [Swatches]

I only picked up two nail polishes from the Zoya True Collection and thats Bevin and Skylar. These were the two nail polishes that instantly grabbed my attention when I saw them and to me they stand out from all the other shades in this collection.

Bevin is a cool-toned sage green while Skylar is a cool, almost periwinkle blue with a silvery shimmer finish. Both Bevin and Skylar are opaque after just two coats :)

Ebay Goodies: Zoya True Collection, Mally Beauty, Korres, Shiseido & L'Oreal Paris

Im completely obsessed with Ebay! I love that I can find almost everything Im looking for and the products are usually cheaper than what they are in the stores! In Norway, beauty related products (skin care, makeup, etc) are expensive compared to Ebay so I prefer buying them online, it saves me time and money which is just perfect.

I love to cuddle up in a warm blanket with a hot cup of chocolate and do my shopping. Its much more relaxing and it definitely beats a stressful day at the mall :) I did order a few of these items a while back but since I haven't shared them with you, I decided to include them in this post as well :)

♥ Bevin & Skylar.

Bevin and Skylar is a part of Zoya's True Collection which just recently came out. These are the only two shades from the True Collection that was unique and special to me. Both shades are beautiful so Im really looking forward to trying them out :) You can find Bevin here and Skylar here.

♥ Shiseido The Skincare Day Moisture Protection Enriched & Night Moisture Recharge Enriched.

A few weeks ago I got samples of these products to try out and I absolutely loved them so I decided to pick up the full size products. ♥ Korres Silicone Free Face Primer.

This is one of the best face primers that I have tried, its silicone free which I absolutely love and it smells really good. It feels really nice on the skin, just like a moisturizer :)

♥ L'Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lipstick in Mulberry.

I absolutely love this Infallible Never Fail Lipstick by L'Oreal Paris. Finally a lipstick that lasts on the lips for hours. You also get a lipbalm to keep your lips moisturized, without it the lips are going to feel dry and looked chapped. Definitely check these out if you are looking for a lipstick thats going to last you for hours :)

Today Im wearing Pink-ing of you by OPI on my nails. Pink-ing Of You is a beautiful baby pink polish. I really like how it makes my nails look more clean, or is it just me? Haha! This nail polish is definitely on the sheer side so you are going to need a few coats to make it look more opaque. Pink-ing Of You is very similar to Zoya's Bela which is my favorite pink nail polish :)

Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine & Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

So I recently picked up the Korres lip Butter in Jasmine and the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream. I have been curious about these two products for the longest time so it was time to pick them up.

I dont think I have read one negative review about the Korres Lip Butters, everyone seems to love them. The Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream on the other hand have gotten both good and bad reviews. People will always have different opinions on products, thats just how it is :)

Im so happy that Vita have started selling the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream, its been on my wishlist for a while now. I have been loving these Luxury Creme Lipsticks by L.A. Girl a lot lately. They have moisturizing ingredients of aloe, shea butter & vitamin E that enhances the lips, leaving a smoother, healthier feel. These lipsticks are so creamy and pigmented and the best thing about these is that they are only $1.99 each on Miz Outlet which is a total steal!!!

Endless Kisses, Forbidden Love & Rendezvous are my favorites. If you are a ''nude lipstick lover'' like myself, Forbidden Love is a must have. Its a gorgeous, warm nude shade which will look beautiful on everybody :)

Sigma Beauty Synthetic Precision Kit

Today, I picked up the Sigma Beauty Synthetic Precision kit that I ordered from Sigma Beauty around 1-2 weeks ago. I have heard wonderful things about all the brushes in this kit.

In this kit you get the Precision Flat brush - P80, Precision Round brush - P82, Precision Angled brush - P84 and the Precision Tapered brush - P86. These brushes are developed to mimic your fingertips when applying makeup on the most sensitive and precise areas of the face. I always use my fingers to apply my eyeshadow primers and concealers but sometimes that can get messy so Im really excited to give these brushes a try :)

Since I managed to pick up the bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara in Espresso which is a brown (I didn't realise that I had picked the wrong shade until I came home) I went back to Parfymelle to return it yesterday.

Sadly they didn't have any black mascaras left so I decided to exchange it for the Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Taupe Grise. I have been obsessing over taupe eyeshadows lately, taupe and purple eyeshadows are my favorites :)

When I came across the bath & body products by Elf Cosmetics, I got extremely excited because I have never seen this line before. Most of the products from their Bath & Body line were sold out but I managed to get my hands on the Vanilla Coconut Soothing Bath Gel which smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Im keeping my fingers crossed that they will stock up on the Elf Bath & Body line, I want to try more :)

Product Review: L.A. Girl High Definition Eyeshadow Trio in Purple Rain [With Swatches]

I recently picked up this L.A. Girl High Definition Eyeshadow Trio in Purple Rain. I like the simple packaging with the cute pattern on the front, it looks really girly and pretty :)

The L.A. Girl High Definition Eyeshadow trios are described as rich in color and easy to blend,
giving you eyes that desired look. Im a little disappointed of the quality of these eyeshadows. They are definitely easy to blend and the pigmentation is okay but they are not the best eyeshadows that I have tried. The eyeshadows are sheer so you have to build them up to make them visible on the eyelids. The lightest purple/silver shade is the best shade in this trio. I feel like its much more pigmented than the other two shades and its probably the only shade from this trio Im going to use again.

I really want to try the trio in Indulgence which is a neutral trio (has a light and two darker shades) and see if the pigmentation is the same as Purple Rain. The other trios might work better than this one so keep that in mind :)

Today Im wearing this beautiful 3D Holographic Nail Polish called Light As A Feather by Glitter Gal. Its a beautiful pale gray with linear holographic shimmer. Light As A Feather is definitely the softest and most wearable nail polish I own from Glitter Gal. The pretty, pale grey color makes this nail polish perfect for everyday use and a must have for fall and winter :)

I was having a really difficult time trying to capture the holographic-ness of this nail polish. If you have any tips please share them with me in the comments below :)

Mini Haul Post: January Sales Goodies

A few days ago my mom and I went to check out the January sales and I managed to grab some wonderful items on sale. I picked up a DKNY perfume (my very first one, so excited) and a bareMinerals mascara that I have been meaning to buy and try out but never actually did. Im very happy that I found them on sale, pretty lucky huh? Haha :)

I also managed to find some cute clothes. I got two gorgeous dresses, a sweater and a big chunky cardigan, total of $44 which is totally awesome. I tried taking pictures of the clothes but it was so difficult to get a good shot. I might do some outfit posts soon and show you how the clothes look, is that something you are interested in seeing? :)

This is a soothing makeup remover and cleansing oil in one infused with green tea extract, mineral oils, Vitamin A, Vitamin E to moisturize and condition skin while removing the heaviest and most resistant makeup.

I love trying out new products and that was the reason why I picked up this Makeup Remover & Cleansing Oil In One by NYX. I ordered it from Cherry Culture in the end of November so I have had some time to try it out :)

This makeup remover actually works really good for removing the heaviest and most resistant makeup. The thing that I dont like about this product is that its extremely oily so if you have oily skin I dont recommend this product at all. It also leaves the skin feeling super greasy which I hate. I prefer using my Nivea Visage Purse Cleansing Wipes to remove my makeup but when Im using waterproof mascaras and eyeliners I turn to this product because it breaks up all the makeup in just a few minutes.

Today Im wearing this gorgeous 3D Holographic Nail Polish called Fuchsia Sparkle by Glitter Gal. Its a beautiful medium pink toned color with pink and holograhic glitter.

Fuchsia Sparkle is a little sheer so you definitely need to apply at least two coats. I used three because I like the color to be as opaque as possible. I have been really into pinks and glitter nail polishes lately so this is definitely a favorite of mine and probably my favorite Glitter Gal nail polish so far :)

Product Review: MAC Sultry Snowglobe Eyeshadow Palette [Swatches]

The MAC Sultry Snowglobe Eyeshadow Palette retails for $38 and its a limited edition holiday compact that features six eyeshadows. You get Lightfully (a white with pink reflect), Trax (a burgundy-plum with shimmer), Fun! (a pink patina), Festive Delight (a bordeaux wine)
Black Tied (a black with silver sparkle), and Shadowy Lady (a blackened plum).

Trax, Black Tied, and Shadowy Lady is a part of MAC's permanent range so if you already own them, I dont recommend that you go out and get this palette. Lightfully, Fun and Festive Delight is limited edition shades. This palette is from the MAC Ice Parade Collection that came out in October 2011.

I just can't stop shaking this product haha! The snowglobe packaging is really beautiful and the Silver and White together is perfect for the holidays. When it comes to the product itself, I have to say that Im a little disappointed. The eyeshadows are extremely beautiful but they are too chalky and I was having the hardest time swatching them. Lightfully was the hardest shade to swatch, it hardly shows up in the picture which is too bad because its such a pretty
color. I even tried using Too Faced shadow insurance as a base but that didn't help much either.

Trax, Festive Delight and Shadowy lady is definitely the best shades in this palette. They are still a little chalky but they are much easier to work with and they are really pigmented as well. But Trax and Shadowy Lady is a part of MAC's permanent range so if you are curious about trying them, I highly recommend that you get them separate and skip on this palette :)

Instead of doing a December favorites post, I thought I would share my favorite products of 2011. I have quite a few products to share with you, everything from eyes, lips and face products to perfumes and a nail product that i have been loving a lot :)

♥ The Naked Palette from Urban Decay.

This is probably the most used eyeshadow palette that I own along with the Alice in Wonderland Book Of Shadows by Urban Decay. I absolutely love this palette, it has all the eyeshadows you need to create beautiful neutral makeup looks. I definitely recommend that you try out this palette if you haven't already, I know you will love it as much as I do :)

♥ The F80 and E25 brush by Sigma Beauty.

These brushes are my all time favorite makeup brushes. I use the F80 everyday to apply my liquid foundation, its perfect and it blends out the foundation perfectly. The E25 is my favorite eyeshadow blending brush, its amazing :)

♥ Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, NYX HD Photogenic Concealer and NYX blush in Angel.

The Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation has to be the best foundation that I have tried. Its not a full coverage founation but it gives you the most natural looking finish and I love how it smells as well, so amazing.

The NYX HD Photogenic Concealer is the best concealer that I have tried so far. I have been looking for good concealers that has a good coverage and this does an amazing job covering up everything. Its a medium to full coverage concealer that I highly recommend. The NYX blush in Angel has been in many of my favorite product posts and it didn't come as a shock to me that its a part of my favorite products of 2011 :)

♥ MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle.

This is my favorite highlighter that I own. I use this everyday to highlight my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose, I just can't get enough of this product.

♥ Elf Complexion Perfection.

Im not the biggest fan of this product but I really love using the yellow tone to set my concealer, I find that it does a really good job doing that. Thats the only thing I use this product for :)

♥ MAC eyeshadow in All That Glitters, Wet n' Wild eyeshadow trio in Silent Treatment, MAC paint pot in Bare Study and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

All That Glitters is one of my all time favorite eyeshadows from MAC, I absolutely love it. If you are new to MAC eyeshadows, this is definitely one of the colors you should try first. Im a huge fan of the Wet n' Wild eyeshadow trios, especially Silent Treatment. I have read that the Eyelid color in this trio is a good dupe for MAC's Satin Taupe which I also love. I might do a comparison between the two and see how similar they really are.

I absolutely love the paint posts from MAC, sadly I only own two. Bare Study is one of those paint pots that are amazing on its own and as a eyeshadow base. I love to use Bare Study on its own with some black eyeliner and mascara, its such an easy makeup look that is perfect for those days that you dont have much time to do your makeup. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk is a product that I use very often. I love to use this on the lids before applying an eyeshadow to make the eyeshadow pop and also in the inner corner to brighten up the eyes :)

♥ Elf mineral eyeshadow primer, L'oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara, Lancome Hypnose Mascara and Smashbox Black & White eyeliner.

The Elf mineral eyeshadow primer is my favorite eyeshadow primer. Its so affordable and it makes your eyeshadow last all day. I think its even better than the Urban Decay primer potion. If you haven't tried anything from Elf, I recommend that you check out this primer.

The L'oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara and the Lancome Hypnose Mascara is two mascaras that I use all the time. I actually got the Lancome Hypnose Mascara in one of my favorite magazines and I love it so much that I want to get the full size product. The white eyeliner from the Black & White Eyeliner byy Smashbox is my favorite as well. I love using it on my waterline, it really open up my eyes and makes me look more awake :)

♥ EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit and Wet n' Wild Juicy Lipbalm in Strawberry Fraise.

One thing that I need to have with me at all times are my lipbalms. I hate the feeling of dry lips and since the Winters in Norway are really cold, they are a must have. These are two of my favorite lipbalms at the moment. The EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit is my all time favorite lipbalm and I have gone through many of these since I first came across it.

The Wet n' Wild Juicy Lipbalm in Strawberry Fraise was sent to me by the lovely Kayla from zombiegirlcooks. This feels so moisturising on the lips, love this product :)

♥ Elf Luscious Liquid Lipsticks in Rasberry & Baby Lips and Elf Hypershine Gloss in Sugar Plum.

Im a big fan of the Luscious Liquid Lipsticks and the Hypershine Glosses from Elf Cosmetics. These are not that sticky and the color pigmentation is really good. These are definitely worth a shot and they are so affordable.

♥ L'oreal Paris Lipstick in Fairest Nude and Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Toast To Shine.

Fairest Nude by L'Oreal Paris is my favorite lipstick, its the perfect nude lipstick if you ask me. I just have to thank the lovely Sonia aka sccastaneda on youtube for mentioning this lipstick in her videos, I dont think I would have discovered this lovely product if it wasn't for her :)

I love using the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Toast To Shine on top of Fairest Nude, it gives it such a glossy and beautiful look. The Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses are amazing and if you are on a hunt for lip glosses that are not sticky at all, you should try these :)

♥ Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

This is definitely the best top coat that I have tried. I love how it makes my nail polishes look and it only takes 20 seconds to dry which is amazing :)

♥ Gucci Envy Me, Beyonce Heat and Britney Spears Fantasy.

I love perfumes, I can't seem to get enough of them haha. These are the three perfumes that I have been using a lot this year. Fantasy by Britney Spears reminds me a lot of the Hand Foot cream by Soap and Glory, it smells amazing, just like candy and marshmallows. Envy Me by Gucci has a clean smell and its probably my favorite out of these three perfumes. Heat by Beyonce is musky and sweet at the same time. Definitely check out these perfumes the next time you are looking for something new to try, you might like these a lot :)

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and that you got to spend it with your loved ones. I haven't had much time to update my blog since I have been quite busy (and lazy, haha) during the Christmas time, but Its really good to be back again, missed you guys so much :)

♥ Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. This is a perfume that I have been eyeing for the longest time, it smells really good.

♥ H&M Gift Card. I love getting gift cards because then I can buy something that I really want + lets not forget about the amazing sales haha :)

♥ Korres - All I want Collection. I love this little set with 4 mini products, a body butter, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Im very impressed with the sizes of these mini products, amazing :)

♥ Eyeshadow from Mist Stockholm. This is a brand that I have never heard about, excited to try this. It looks beautiful :)

♥ Dazzlesphere Pink Lipgloss Ornament.

♥ 6 Snowglobe Eye Shadows/Sultry. Im obsessed with the packaging of this product, love the snowglobe, its so pretty, cant stop shaking it haha :)

♥ MAC Lipstick in Snob.

♥ MAC Cream Colour Base in Shell.

♥ MAC Paint Pot in Painterly.

♥ Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.

My boyfriend got me the My Studio 20 Complete Tabletop Photo Studio which I am beyond excited about. I can't wait to play around with it and see how my pictures turns out. Just talking about it makes so excited haha. It really motivates me to do more blog posts now :)

YSL Rouge Volupte #20 in Spicy Pink [With Swatch]

Last week I picked up my very first YSL lipstick. This is from their Rouge Volupte range and its in #20 Spicy Pink. Since these lipsticks are pretty expensive, I went with a more neutral color that I know I will get much use out of. I prefer nude/pink lipsticks over the more brighter ones just because I feel more comfortable wearing them and they go with every makeup look :)

When it comes to packaging, YSL definitely knows how to rock it. Im in love with how this lipstick look. The packaging is so shiny and pretty, its almost like I dont want to touch it because then it will get dirty haha. Have you felt that way about a product before? :)

Coastal Scents COAT Collection [Swatches]

I recently picked up 6 nail polishes from the Coastal Scents COAT Collection. These are my very first nail polishes from Coastal Scents, it was definitely fun to see something new on their website. :)

I have swatched all 6 colors and thought I would share them with you. I really like these nail polishes a lot, they are very pigmented, creamy and easy to apply. My favorites are Lily Pad and Cosmic :)

Now that it gets dark around 2pm here in Norway, its impossible to take any good pictures. Im thinking about buying some fluorescent lights to help improve my pictures. What do you use? Have you tried fluorescent lighting before? :)

Nail Look: First Dance

Today Im wearing First Dance by NYX Cosmetics. First Dance is from their advanced salon formula range and its a beautiful white with gold and silver sparkles. I think this is such a pretty nail polish to be rocking now that its finally Christmas. I dont know why, but this nail polish reminds me of snow, I love it :)

I normally dont wear white nail polish but I think Im going to change that. I really like how clean and fresh this makes my nails look. Its definitely a nice change to all the colors I normally wear on my nails :)

My Nail Polish Collection, Storage & Organisation [Updated]

Since my Nail Polish Storage & Organisation has changed since my previous post, I thought I would do an updated one and show you how I keep everything safe and sound. If you see any nail polishes you would like me to swatch, dont forget to let me know in the comments below :)

My boyfriend got me this big drawer from Skeidar (store in Norway) for our 4 year anniversary. This is where I keep all my makeup and also my nail polishes (I store them in the bottom drawer). I try my best to keep my nail polishes organised by brand but sometimes its just hard to keep track of everything haha, is anyone having the same problem? :)

I keep most of my nail polishes in these black containers but I feel like I can fit more polishes into the drawer if I remove the containers. What do you think? :)

I store some of my newest nail polishes in this acrylic nail polish rack which I bought on Ebay. I keep this on top of my drawer for decoration and also for keeping track of new and old nail polishes I want to try out. I try to change up the colors every now and then with new colors I haven't played with in ages so I always find new treasures in my collection :)

I have been eyeing those nail polish racks that can hold up to 90 polishes but the shipping to Norway is crazy expensive. Maybe I should try and make one myself? I have seen some Youtube videos on how to make them, how hard can it be? Haha, let me know if anyone of you have tried making your own nail polish rack :)

I am so happy that I picked up this London Go Palette from Coastal Scents. I really love how pigmented the eyeshadows are. They are a little powdery but nothing too extreme, just make sure to apply an eyeshadow primer so the shadows last longer. No7 Mini Beautifier [Swatches]

Yesterday I went by Boots to pick up this No7 Mini Beautifier. They were having 50% of (part of their Advent Calendar deals) and since Im new to this brand and their products I decided to pick it up and give it a try :)

Inside this cute little kit you get three eyeshadows in Innocence, Truffle and Wheatsheaf. High Shine Whisper (lipgloss), Bronze Rollerball Shimmer (Limited Edition for gift only) Mascara (Limited Edition for gift only) and two eyeshadow applicators :)

I paid $12.50 for this kit (original price is $25) which is a good deal for 6 sample products. I love trying out mini products before going out and buying the full sized ones. I have bought some full sized products that I didn't like and its just a waste of money if you ask me.

I love how small and compact this kit is, its great for travelling since you get some variation of products to play with. Its also perfect to keep in your handbag since its so small and it wont take up much space. I cant wait to play around with it :)

Nail Look: Grey Skies & Confetti Kisses

Yesterday I tried out my new nail polish from No7 called Grey Skies. I picked this up at Boots a few weeks ago and I absolutely love the color. Grey Skies is a beautiful steely grey color that dries with an even, glossy finish. Its also quick drying, dried within the minute which is good :)

♥ No7 Nail Polish in Grey Skies.
♥ H&M Nail Polish in Confetti Kisses.
♥ Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

I have to say that Im not a big fan of the the brush though, its too thick and I think it was a little difficult to apply the nail polish. I do prefer the smaller brushes just because I find them easier to work with and the result looks better :)

I have a Boots haul to share with you all today! This was my very first time being in a Boots store, can you believe that? I loved it there and Im planning on going back there very soon. Right now they have an Advent Calendar going on which means that they have deals on different brands. The No7 Mini Beautifier is 50% of today, maybe I will go down to Boots and pick it up :)

After hearing that Soap & Glory is available at Boots, I had to get down there and check out their selection of products. I have heard nothing but great things about Soap & Glory so I picked these products up. Let me know if you have tried any of these and If you would like me to do reviews :)

I cant wait to use it, I think I will paint my nails with it later today and add some sparkle on top to make it pop, oooh that actually rhymed haha :)

I have read online that Boots.com just started carrying Stila Cosmetics? If so Im keeping my fingers crossed that they will get them in our store too :)

NYX Cosmetics Lipsticks in B52 & Pandora [Swatches]

One of my favorite type of products from NYX Cosmetics is their round lipsticks, I just love how pigmented they are and the range of colors to choose from. Say hello to my newest lipsticks in my collection, B52 and Pandora. Both lipsticks were given to me by my mom in todays Advent Calendar hatch. These lipsticks are extremely beautiful and pigmented!

I have so many nude and pink lipsticks in my collection so I thought it was time to try something different. I hardly wear darker lipcolors like Pandora, because I can never get used to how they look on me, its probably because of my light skin tone. But I have decided to give them a chance, its always nice to try something different every now and then, dont you agree? :)

B52 is a beautiful brownish- nude lipstick that I think is going to look gorgeous on everyone. If you prefer neutral lipsticks I recommend that you check out this one. I feel like this is one of those nude lipsticks that are a ''my lips but better'' kind of color :)

Pandora is a pretty, dark purple lipstick which I think will look extremely gorgeous on those with a darker skin tone. Im very curious about this one because its a lot darker than what I normally would wear. Its very buildable so you can apply it with a light hand and get a more softer look which is what Im going to do :)

Aromanice Soap & Suds Beautyous Blushing Nectarine Gift Set

I wanted to share this cute gift set that my boyfriend surprised me with in hatch 5 of my Advent Calendar. This is by a brand called Aromanice (if Im not mistaken) which I have never heard about before. I guess that this is something new they have started to sell here because I haven't seen these around!

This is a cute little gift set with products for your body. Inside the cute box you get two bath fizzers, a shower gel, body polish, body lotion and a body mist. The products are scented with nectarine which I really like and they are not tested on animals either :)

OPI: Pamplona Purple & Houston We Have a Purple [Swatches]

I recently picked up these two nail polishes from OPI at Cubus. They were having a really good deal on OPI nail polishes, two for the price of one so of course I had to take advantage of their offer :)

I picked up two colors, Pamplona Purple & Houston We Have a Purple which are gorgeous purples. I think I will be wearing Pamplona Purple with Confetti Kisses from H&M on Christmas Eve, its such a perfect Christmas combination :)

I think Pamplona Purple is the perfect purple color. Its not too dark nor too light. Houston We Have a Purple is very sheer so you have to apply many coats to get the same color thats in the bottle. I applied 4 coats and you can see that its still a little sheer. I still love the color, I just wish it was more opaque :)

NYX Cosmetics: Makeup Remover, Brush, Ridge Filler Base Coat & Concealer

Each December my mom surprises me with an Advent Calendar. This year she let me pick out a few products from Cherry Culture that I have been wanting to try out for a while. Since I haven't opened them yet (they are lying under my little Christmas tree) I cant share them with you but I managed to order some extra products to play around with which I really want to share with you tonight :)

♥ Makeup Remover With Green Tea Extract.

This is a makeup remover and cleansing oil in one infused with green tea extract, mineral oils, Vitamin A and E to moisturize and condition the skin. It says on the product description that this removes the heaviest and most resistant makeup which is very interesting and one of the reasons why I decided to order it.

Im currently using cosmetic wipes to remove my face and eye makeup. I find cosmetic wipes to be a little harsh on my eyes so Im hoping this is a good alternative :) You can find this product here.

♥ Ridge Filler Base Coat.

This is a calcium-rish base coat that reinforces nail strenght as it fills in ridges and smoothes rough surfaces for perfectly painted nails. This product is supposed to give you stronger, smoother and healthier nails. Its also supposed to give you a more even nail polish application.

Im loving the Advanced Salon Formula nail polishes from NYX. When I saw that they also had Nail Treatment products available from the same line, I got super curious and decided to order this Ridge Filler Base Coat. I have never tried a ridge filler before so Im very excited to see how it will look :) You can find this product here.

♥ HD Photogenic Concealer.

This concealer is supposed to cover-up obscures imperfections, discoloration and under eye circles without looking cakey or obvious. Its mineral-enriched, talc free, paraben free and it gives a medium to heavy coverage.

I have been looking for new concealer with good coverage for a while now so Im very excited to try this out and see how I like it. This is on sale for only $4.50 at Cherry Culture if anyone is interested in checking it out. Im probably not the only girl who are on a hunt for a new concealer to try out, am I right? :) You can find this product here.

♥ B10 Blender Eye Brush.

You can find a new line of improved professional makeup brushes from NYX on Cherry Culture, everything from contouring to shaping, fro darkening to highlighting.

Makeup brushes is something I really love trying out, especially eye brushes. I would much rather invest a little amount of money on a good brush/set than a really cheap brush that wont do a good job. The Studio Line brushes from Elf Cosmetics are the only ''cheap'' brushes I have tried that I highly recommend. They are super soft and do a great job :) You can find this product here.

Nail Look: Kiss Goodnight

I decided to paint my nails with my new nail polish from H&M called Kiss Goodnight (I only used one coat). This is a gorgoeus Black polish with Green and Silver glitter which looks absolutely beautiful on the nails. Its been a long time since I have worn Black on my nails, this is definitely my new favorite Black nail polish :)

I think Im going to try and paint Confetti Kisses from H&M on top of Kiss Goodnight, I think that is going to be a really cute combo. Im going to do more nail looks and share with you all. Im going to try and do some Christmas inspired looks too, I miss doing nail looks :)

Disney: Minnie Mouse Gift Set

I came across this Minnie Mouse gift set the other day when I was browsing through the gift section at Europris. When I saw this I just knew that it had to be mine, I dont know whats up with me and gift sets but I adore them :)

♥ Shimmer Body Lotion, Coin Purse & Eau De Toilette.

I have to admit that I was a little sceptical at first because of the perfume since I dont have much luck with perfumes that come in the more ''cheaper'' gift sets. The perfume have a sweet smell which reminds me just a little of Fantasy by Britney Spears. Minnie Mouse have a much lighter scent than Fantasy.

The coin/makeup bag is really cute and its going to be perfect to keep small items that I dont want to lose in my handbag. Im not totally convinced about the body lotion though. It has a lot of shimmer/glitter which Im not a fan of. I would have appreciated this product more if it was just a regular body lotion. The body lotion has the same smell as the perfume! Im happy that I decided to pick up this set, it is $13 which I think is a good deal. If any of my Norwegian readers are interested in this set, you can find it at Europris :)

Jenny Skavlan for Bik Bok: New Boots

Say hello to my new babies!!! Im in love with my new boots that my mom bought me when we went shopping together a few days ago. They are from a brand called Bik Bok which have gorgoeus clothes and accessories!

These are my new favorite pair of shoes. I went for the black pair since they will go with everything In my closet, they also had them in Burgundy which I think Im going to pick up too. They are just too gorgeous to pass up :)

These reminds me a lot of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes which I have been seeing everywhere lately on different fashion blogs. Maybe sometime in the future I will get my hands on the Spiked Lita Platform Boots which I have been eyeing for a while now, they are gorgeous :)

Haul from H&M: Sweaters, Accessories & A New Everyday Dress

I have a clothing haul to share with you all tonight, I recently ordered these items at hm.com/no. Im in love with all the clothes for Fall/Winter, I just wish my closet was bigger haha! Anyone wish they had more space in their closet? :)

♥ I have this sweater in green and I really love it. When I saw this on sale I just had to pick it up, its super soft :)

♥ This is such a cute, simple and perfect everyday dress, I cant wait to wear it with my new boots :)

♥ Scarf, Mittens, Tights, Knee High Socks & a Cap.

♥ It gets very cold in Norway when the Winter arrives, so big and warm sweaters are must haves here. I think im going to wear this with some grey, thick tights, boots and my new leopard hat :)

♥ Gold Bracelet.

♥ Im loving these earrings, especially the pink flower and owl earrings :)

I really miss posting my outfit pictures and sharing my style with you all, I always recieve such amazing feedback from you guys! The weather is so grey and boring here now that Winter is here so my pictures dont look as good as they do in the Summer. Im going to try and snap a few outfit pictures tomorrow and see how they turn out. Keep your fingers crossed :)

Twilight Beauty Lipgloss Set [Swatches]

Many of you wanted to see swatches of my new lipglosses from the Twilight Beauty lipgloss set I recently picked up, so here they are :)

What I really like about these lipglosses is that they are not sticky at all, they smell like strawberry and the packaging is super cute. They dont have that weird taste like a lot of lipglosses do which Im very happy about!

Jane and Alice look very similar but Jane is more of a Pink/Silver gloss, Alice is a pure Silver. I think that Alice would look so cute on top of Eloquent Air from the new Glitter & Ice Collection from MAC Cosmetics, what do you think? :)

Twilight Beauty Nail Varnish Collection [Swatches]

I wanted to share the swatches of the nail polishes from the Twilight Beauty Nail Varnish Collection Set that I picked up yesterday. I just finished swatching all three colors and Im amazed by how beautiful they all are.

All three nail polishes are very pigmented and opaque after just one-two coats. I used two coats on all three colors since I like how it intensifies the colors. I love how perfect these colors are for Christmas and I cant wait to start rocking these shades, especially the dark purple :)

This set is $8.50 which is a good price for three beautiful, full size nail polishes (same size as OPI) I have a few ideas for upcoming nail looks, will try and share them with you all soon. Some of them contains glitter which is perfect now that Christmas is almost here, wohoo :)

Twilight Beauty Lipgloss & Nail Polish Sets

I went by Europris today to pick up some storage boxes for my new makeup drawer and I came across these fun Twilight Beauty sets. I picked up the lipgloss and nail polish set which Im super excited to try out. They also have other sets available but these two really captured my attention. Each set is $8.50.

I think that these make perfect Christmas presents, you dont have to be a Twilight fan to enjoy the products. I just checked out the Twilight Beauty website, their products look really fun, need to check and see if they ship worldwide :)

Kicks Beauty Nail Polishes in Fab Jean & Oxygen Forest [Swatches]

I recently picked up these two nail polishes from our new beauty store called Kicks Beauty that just opened up here. These are $6.70 each and you get 8ml of product which is not that much but then again I never manage to finish my nail polishes so I guess its okay that the bottle isn't so big :)

When it comes to the colors, I have to say that Im a little disappointed in Oxygen Forest. I thought it was going to be a gorgeous metallic green, but instead it dries to a matte polish. Im not a big fan of matte nail polishes, I just dont like how they look on my nails! But then I tried adding a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat and it looked much better. Fab Jean is a very pretty denim blue color with beautiful sparkles. Im excited to rock this color on my nails :)

New Chunky Stone Ring

Im completely in love with this Chunky Stone Ring from Love Hearts and Crosses. This ring is a perfect alternative to the Arty Oval Ring from YSL which I have been obsessing over for years!

The Arty Oval Ring is $250 on ysl.com which I think is too much to spend on just one ring. Just imagine how much makeup you could buy for $250, hmm lets not think about that haha! The Chunky Stone Ring is only £15.00 which is a total steal. The quality is really good, it looks more expensive than it is and it comes in Black, Turquoise, Coral, Green and Pink. Sadly, its only available in Ring size - US 7 (Diameter 17.5mm) which is a medium.

I only ordered the Chunky Stone Ring in Turquoise since I didn't know what to expect and how it was going to look. But now that Im obsessed with it, I really want it in Black, White, Coral and Green as well! If you are interested in this ring, here is the link. Oliv Naturell, L'Occitane, Dior, Burberry & Kicks Nail Polish

I have some new beauty products I want to share with you all. These are products I picked up from our new beauty store called Kicks that opened here last week. So many brands and products that I want to try out, dont even know where to start haha! Here are the products decided to pick up :)

♥ Oliv Naturell Cosmetic Wipes. Im very excited to try these out, never tried anything from this brand before :)

♥ Nail Polish in Fab Jean & Oxygen Forest. I cant wait to try out these nail polishes, especially Oxygen Forest since I dont have anything like it in my collection. These are $6.70 each :)

♥ L'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Soap. Im super curious about this face soap from L'Occitane. Im always on the lookout for new skin care products to try out since I haven't found any products worth rebuying. Now I just need to order the Ultra Rich Face Cream since its not available in the store :)

♥ I also picked up Miss Dior, Burberry Brit Sheer & J'adore samples. Looking forward to trying these out, I LOVE perfumes :)

New Sweater, New York & Cross Top from Gina Tricot

A store called Gina Tricot just opened here and I managed to pick up a few favorites last week when they had their opening day. Their clothes are super cute and so affordable, I cant wait to do some serious damage there haha! You can definitely expect to see more clothing posts/hauls from that store. Today Im wearing Suede from Glitter Gal which is a beautiful 3D Holographic Nail Polish. Its a really gorgeous taupe/brown color which I think is the perfect color for fall and winter. If you like the more neutral nail polishes, this is definitely one you should check out!

I love that Suede is opaque after just one coat but I used two because I think it really intensifies the color. This is such a beautiful nail polish, I love it :)

I love this cute and compact little palette called Glamour To Go Kit II from Too Faced Cosmetics. The palette includes 8 eyeshadows, 4 lipglosses and 1 blush for $19.50 which is a good deal if you look at how many products you get. It would probably be a lot more if you bought the products separately!

The blush, eyeshadows and lipglosses are pigmented and very beautiful. Since this is so small, its the perfect palette to keep in your handbag + it also has a mirror which makes it even better. This palette has everything you need to create a great look from neutral to smokey :)

Too Faced Natural Eye Kit [Swatches]

I decided to do a little post about the Natural Eye Kit from Too Faced and share the swatches with you all. I remember eyeing this palette in one of bebexo youtube videos over a year ago and I cant believe that I haven't picked it up sooner, its gorgeous!

This is one of those palettes that are great to have if you are a big fan of neutral colors. The colors are very pigmented, especially the darker ones. If you like the NAKED palette by Urban Decay, I think you are going to love this as well :)

Apothica Haul: Too Faced Products

In June, Mike from Apothica contacted me about sponsoring my blog! I immediately said yes and Mike sent me a $100 giftcard that I could spend on products from their website, Apothica.com. I finally made up my mind on which products I wanted and I just got the package a few days ago :)
