MONTHLY FAVORITES: MAY 2015

June is right around the corner, which means that it's time for me to share the beauty items that I have been loving this month. May has been a good month! It's one of my favorite months, because it's when it finally starts to get warmer outside. Everything starts to blossom and grow and the sun is shining all day long.

I hope you enjoy this favorites post and that you find a couple of products that you want to try out for yourself, maybe even some old favorites that you might have forgotten all about. So without any further ado, here are the items that I have been enjoying in May! :-)
 ♥ Escada Marine Groove, (HERE).

Escada Marine Groove is one of my favorite perfumes for Spring and Summer. It has a very fresh, sweet and fruity scent, which is perfect for this time of the year. I have been reaching for it non-stop since the beginning of April and I just can't seem to get enough of it. Unfortunately, I think it has been discontinued because I can't find it in stores anymore. I have seen it on eBay, but it's quite expensive for a bottle there. I don't have much left, so I really want to get my hands on a new one. Do you know any websites that still have this perfume in stock? Thank you so much! :-)
Bottega Verde Liminous Pearly Make-Up Base with Peach Kernel Oil and Vitamin E, (HERE).

Another favorite of mine during May has been the Luminous Pearly Make-Up Base with Peach Kernel Oil and Vitamin E by the brand Bottega Verde. I like the beautiful glow that it gives my skin, while evening out the complexion at the same time. I like to mix it with my foundation, which creates the most beautiful, natural looking glow. It can also be used as a primer before applying your foundation or even as a liquid highlighter if you want. I also like to use it on my cheekbones on days that I'm not wearing any makeup on my face, it instantly makes me look more fresh and awake! :-)
♥ Makeup Geek Blush in Romance, (HERE).

♥ Makeup Geek Blush in Romance, (HERE).

A product that I have been reaching for and enjoying a lot during May is the Makeup Geek Blush in Romance. Romance is a beautiful peach blush with golden shimmer. It reminds me a lot of Hot Mama by theBalm, which is one of my all-time favorite blushes. Romance is more peach while Hot Mama is more on the pink side. Romance is the perfect blush for everyday. It's got great pigmentation and it's very easy to blend as well. It leaves behind a very fresh and glowy look, which is perfect for this season! :-)
♥ Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste in Fair, (HERE).

A beauty product that I have re-discovered my love for in May is the Erase Paste by Benefit Cosmetics. The Erase Paste is a concentrated cream concealer for bright and smooth under eyes. My favorite way to use it is to start by applying it under my eyes first, then go over it with my concealer afterwards. The Erase Paste is easy to blend and it doesn't look too heavy under the eyes. It covers up dark circles and discoloration quite nicely, while brightening up the under eye area and making you look more awake. It has a pinky tone to it, which is going to neutralize any bluish/greenish veins and under eye circles.

I highly recommend that you check out Erase Paste by Benefit Cosmetics, a little goes a long way with this product! I'm not sure if Benefit Cosmetics give out samples of their Erase Paste, but if they do you should totally try and get your hands on one to see if you like it or not. It's a big favorite of mine, two thumbs up from me! :-)

What products have you been loving this month? Have you tried out any of the products that I mentioned above? What product has been your most reached for product in May? :-)

Love, Christine ♥

SNEAK PEEK: ELEGANT TOUCH

Around 2 weeks ago, I received an amazing care package from the lovely people over at Elegant Touch. They sent me a bunch of their items to try out, which I'm super stoked about. I'm so grateful to Elegant Touch for sending me these lovely items to play around with, I can't wait to share my thoughts on them with you guys in future blog posts.

Today, I thought that I would do a quick post and show you the items that they included in my package. This is just a sneak peek post of what you can expect to see more of on my blog during the next upcoming weeks. I'm really excited, because I have been wanting to do more nail related posts on my blog. Now, there is definitely more of that coming your way and I couldn't be more excited about it. But enough with the rambling, let's take a closer look at the goodies from Elegant Touch and Eylure! :-)
♥ Elegant Touch Waikiki Beach, (HERE), Speckled Eggs, (HERE) & Eleanor, (HERE).
♥ Elegant Touch Express Press-On Instant Manicure in French Pink, (HERE), Polished Mushroom, (HERE), Polished Vibrant Orange, (HERE) & Trend Daisy, (HERE).
♥ House Of Holland Nailed by Elegant Touch in Vamps, (HERE) & Copacabana, (HERE).
♥ Elegant Touch Gel Rocks in Just Say Yes, (HERE) & That's Mint, (HERE).

They also carry the brand Eylure, which is the world leading eyelash brand. They were kind enough to include a couple of their eyelash styles in the package as well. I'm not the best at applying false eyelashes, but I believe that practice makes perfect. I absolutely love how false eyelashes look, they just pull the entire makeup look together and makes you look more awake! :-)
¨♥ Eylure Love It, Try It Lengthening Kit, (HERE), Naturals Starter Kit, (HERE) & Texture #157, (HERE).
♥ Eylure London The Last Edit, (HERE).
♥ Eylure London The Last Edit, (HERE).

I think that I will be trying out the Gel Rocks in That's Mint first. I have been wanting to paint my nails for a couple of days now, but I have been feeling a bit lazy lately. Mint colored nail polishes are some of my favorites to wear, especially during Spring and Summer. So make sure to keep your pretty eyes open for a nail polish post soon featuring this beautiful color from Elegant Touch! :-)

Have you tried anything from Elegant Touch or Eylure before? What's your opinion on false eyelashes? Do you like how they look or do you prefer not to wear them at all? :-)

Love, Christine ♥

GLOSSYBOX: APRIL 2015

The April GLOSSYBOX is called Spring Beauty Fix and it's all about new and exciting brands. I'm not familiar with any of the brands that I received in this box, except for the Skin Perfection samples from L'Oreal Paris. If you want to see what I received in my April GLOSSYBOX then keep on reading! :-)
 ♥ REALASH Eyelash Enhancer, (HERE).

I'm so excited that GLOSSYBOX decided to include the REALASH Eyelash Enhancer, because I have been wanting to try out a eyelash serum for a while now. My eyelashes are quite short, so I can't wait to see how this product is going to work on my lashes. I really hope that it's going to give me longer, thicker and stronger eyelashes, because they really need a ''pick me up'' now! :-)
♥ Lord&Berry Lipstick Crayon in Kiss, (HERE).

Lord&Berry Lipstick Crayon in Kiss is a beautiful coral with a matte finish. It's such a lovely color for Spring and Summer and I'm excited to give it a go. I hope that it has a nice and creamy texture and that it feels comfortable on the lips without being too drying. I'm really happy that GLOSSYBOX decided to include this in the April box, I absolutely love testing out new brands! :-)
♥ Teeez Cosmetics Couture Nail Lacquer in Smooth, (HERE).

Teeez Cosmetics is another brand that I'm not familiar with. This is their Couture Nail Lacquer in the shade Smooth, which is a coral pink with a metallic finish. It's a really pretty and fresh looking color, which is going to be perfect for when the Summer comes around. I'm definitely looking forward to painting my nails with this color, because it looks really pretty in the bottle! :-)

♥ COOLCOS Single Eyeshadow in 59, (HERE).

COOLCOS Single Eyeshadow in 59 is a beautiful taupe brown with glitter. Colors like this are some of my favorites to wear, they just go with everything. It looks quite glittery in the pan, so I'm excited to see how it looks on the eyes. Hopefully it's not going to be too glittery! :-)

♥ L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection, 7-Day Trial, (HERE).

I have been wanting to try out the Skin Perfection range from L'Oreal Paris since they first came out, so I'm super excited to finally be able to do it. I have heard some wonderful things about this range, so I'm hoping that I'm going to end up loving it as well. It's so important to take care of your skin and keep it nice and hydrated. Unfortunately, I can be quite lazy sometimes so I definitely need to step up my game when it comes to my skin care routine.

There is actually a good amount of samples inside of the little envelope that they came in, so I think it's going to last me longer than 7 days depending on how much I need to use. I will make sure to keep you guys updated on what I think about the this moisturizer on my Facebook page. If you haven't checked out my Facebook page yet, you can find it HERE! :-)

That is everything I got in my April GLOSSYBOX. Are you susbscribed to GLOSSYBOX? What did you get in your April box? Are you happy with the items that you received? :-)

Love, Christine ♥
