Tutorial: How To Create Colorful Houndstooth Print Nails

Hey Dolls :)
I have been really into doing nail art lately and today I have a new Tutorial to share with you all. About a year ago, I did a colorful Zebra nail look and I really liked how it turned out, so instead off using Zebra print this time, I  have used the very popular Houndstooth print :)

If you wan't to see how you can create this colorful, fun and very easy nail look, just keep reading :)

 1. Start off by painting your nails with a base coat to protect your nails.

 2. Take the blue nail polish off your choice and create a stripe. It doesn't have to be perfect because we are going to clean it up after all the stripes have been created. Do the same as you did with the blue nail polish with all the other colors that you have chosen to use for this nail look. Now you have to wait for the stripes to completely dry before doing the next step :)

 3. Now that your design has dried, take your Konad Image Plate number m63 and your Konad Black Special Nail Polish and apply a thick coat off the special polish onto the Houndstooth print on your image plate. Use your scraper to scrape off the extra nail polish, take your stamper and transfer the design onto it. Now, take your stamper and roll the design onto your nail.

4. Apply a top coat to protect your design from chipping away and now your finished! Wasn't that quick and easy? :)

I really like this colorful nail look but I'm not 100% happy with how mine turned out. I love how the Houndstooth Print brings this look together and makes it look more put together. You can change the colors off the stripes to any colors you want and make it more toned down if you prefer that. Nail Art has no limits so don't be scared to play around and have fun with it :)

Products I used:
♥ Girls Night Out, Fashion Friday, Cupcake Frosting & All Things Girly.

♥ NYX Ridge Filler Base Coat, Konad Special Nail Polish in Black & Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

♥ Konad Image Plate Number m63.

♥ Konad Stamper and Scraper.

What do you think about the Houndstooth Print? Do you like it or hate it? Will you be trying out this nail look? :) Thanks for looking :) Xoxo, Christine♥

L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche in Fairest Nude: Review, Photos & Swatches

Hey Dolls :)
Today's post is going to be all about my favorite nude lipstick, Fairest Nude by L'Oreal Paris. I completely fell in love with Fairest Nude after seeing the lovely Sonia from Sccastaneda on youtube feature it in one off her video's years ago. I just knew it in my heart that it had to be mine, so after her video had finished, I went on Ebay and bought one for myself. It's definitely one of the best purchases I have made :)

♥ L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche in Fairest Nude.

♥ L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche in Fairest Nude.

Fairest Nude is a beautiful pinky nude lipstick that is more on the darker side compared to other nude lipsticks such as Myth by MAC. Because Fairest Nude is a little on the darker side, it makes it much more wearable and it's a color that will look good on different skin tones as well.

The texture and formula of this product is really good. Fairest Nude has ingredients such as omega 3, Vitamin E and argan oil which is really good for your lips. It's a really pigmented, creamy and moisturizing lipstick and It does last a while on the lips before you have to re-apply it again. The packaging is cute as well. Its very simple yet elegant and pretty at the same time :)

♥ Colour Riche in Fairest Nude.

If you are on the hunt for a good, affordable and wearable nude lipstick, give this one a try because you might end up loving it as much as I do :)

Rating: 5/5

Where to buy?
You can find Fairest Nude in stores where L'Oreal Paris is being sold and also on Ebay. Here is a link to a seller on Ebay you can buy it from :)

Do you have a favorite lipstick? If yes, which one? :) Thanks for looking :) Xoxo, Christine♥

♥ NYX Coral Sensation & Turquoise Glitter.

Turquoise Glitter  looks like a perfect dupe for Portia by Julep which I have been eyeing for quite some time now. I guess I wont be needing it now that I have Turquoise Glitter by NYX. I definitely want to try out the Julep nail polishes, but they are almost impossible for me to get my hands on. Maybe Julep will start shipping worldwide in the future, let's keep our fingers crossed :)

What are you wearing on your nails today? :) Thanks for looking :) Xoxo, Christine♥

My March Favorites

It's time to share the products that I have been loving for the month of March with all of you wonderful people. I can't believe that March is almost over, can you? Where has the time gone?
I have to say that I'm looking forward to Spring and Summer though. I can't wait to start wearing skirts and dresses again and start doing my Outfit Of The Day posts, I miss doing them so much. I love sharing my style with you guys, you always give me such wonderful feedback :) Anyway, here are my March favorites, I hope you enjoy :)

Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie.

I have been obsessed with this particular Lip Butter from Revlon. I have been wearing it almost everyday this month, it's beautiful and I love how moisturizing it is. Look out for my upcoming review on the Revlon Lip Butters with swatches of the different colors :)

NYX Eyeshadow Trio in TS 17 Frosted Flake/Slate/Iced Mocha.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow trio from NYX. The colors are really beautiful and quite pigmented too. I accidentally dropped this on the floor and as you can see, Iced Mocha broke but I do have the single eyeshadow but for some reason, the single eyeshadow is a little darker than the one in this trio. I might just order a new trio since I have already hit pan on my favorite color :)

Ti Creative Styling - Cruise Flat Iron in Purple Leopard.

I have been straightening my hair a lot lately using this adorable Purple Leopard Flat Iron from Ti Creative Styling. I bought this baby years ago and it still works like it was bought yesterday. I absolutely love it and how cute is the design? :)

Hard as Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream.

After using this nail strengthening cream for a while now, my nails feel so much stronger than what they did before I started using it and they don't chip as much as they used to either which I really like. This product has a pretty strong cherry smell, It actually smells very similar to the Mega Shine Lip Glosses by NYX :)

NYX Ridge Filler Base Coat.

I really like this Ridge Filler Base Coat from NYX. It evens out uneven nail ridges and creates a smooth surface to make your nail polishes last longer on your nails. I can definitely see a difference on how my nail polish looks when I'm not wearing this. My nail polish just doesn't look as smooth and pretty so I'm totally hooked on this product :)

Benefit Erase Paste.

I really like this concealer from Benefit. It does a really good job covering up those dark under eye circles and makes you look more awake. But just be careful not to use too much because this can look cakey and we don't want that, or do we? :)

Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream.

I absolutely love this hand cream from Soap & Glory. It's the best hand cream that I have tried so far and I just can't get enough off it. I'm almost out so I have to go to Boots and pick up another one. I really like that this comes in a small tube as well, because they are so perfect to just put in your purse. I use this product almost everyday single day because my hands get so dry off all the dreadful weather that we have been having here lately. This is definitely a product worth checking out :)

Which products have you been loving for the month of March? Thanks for looking :) Xoxo, Christine♥
